The management won't help in any way, including not even looking at surveillance. Why spend so much money to rent a unit at this place when there is no security and zero help from ownership and management when you have the contents of your unit stolen. Be careful if you choose this place. Update: Aurora PD contacted the storage facility to get video surveillance, but was told they don't have any surveillance. So, the storage facility is either telling a lie to the Aurora PD or they actually don't have video surveillance. Either way, they are lying because their website states the following: "Our well-lighted facility is excellently maintained with state of the art video security system." As you will see from other reviews, theft is common at this facility and they say the same thing - file a police report. Zero help from the storage facility, terrible. Shameful business.

Each and every employee is very friendly and efficient. Chris has been exceptional to work with. Prices here are far better than the surrounding storage facilities (especially now under new management). Units stay pretty cool or warm because of the way these units are put together compared to all other storage facilities we looked at. Renting a Uhaul on site was an added bonus and again Chris was very friendly and again efficient renting that out to me.

I asked them 3-4 times if they got it and they said yes and they submitted it. Over a month later on Jan 13th they finally told me they never sent in my insurance claim and they don't even have it so I had to resend it. They told me the claim finally got approved and the check will be here in 10-14 days. It's been 26 days and I still have nothing. My unit got broken into sometime in October and I still have not gotten my insurance payout because these people have no clue what they are doing, they pretended like they help but do nothing, and they honestly screw over the customers. I've talked to a lot of other renters and everyone I have talked to has been treated poorly by these people. Almost every conversation includes I'm looking for a new place. The gates and doors are broken all the time so I find homeless and other people who shouldn't be there. The amount of times I've seen someone trying to steal a bike out front or something is crazy. They've also messed up my card payments 3-5 times. I have auto pay and have always had money on my cards, yet somehow every few months I get an email saying thanks for finally paying and there was a late fee added. They even sent me emails that they cut off my own lock and put their lock on because "I missed a payment." Honestly it's taking everything in me not to go in and curse these awful individuals out. They still have not fixed their shit and they decide to throw more shit on me all of the time. I am so fucking over it. Once they finally give me my couple thousand, I'm probably going to find a new place too. Awful awful awful. Honestly they have seriously damaged my financial well being because of all this. They told me my claim was in in December so I bought my stuff back, it was over $6K stolen because they said they check would be there in a few weeks. Now it's been 3 months and still no check and my bank is still way lower than it should be because I used all my savings. I hate GreenBox. Not to mention, they also refused to let me use the truck when I moved in and they said that's free.

You can go in at any time with your code. After a while, they started locking down the garbage outside. I was going through my mom's things after she passed away, and I had to take everything I wanted to throw away home with me. It was frustrating that they didn't have a way to take care of that there. I started to get a little sketched out when I went on the weekends. It was pretty empty, but I would run into people who gave the impression of hanging out (sitting in the hall, charging their phones.... No idea if they actually were living there, but it just gave me a weird vibe). I tried to go into the office to take care of a problem that I had and no one was in there during regular business hours. That was frustrating when I drove all the way there to meet with someone. I could've dealt with all that, but my last straw was after I had been paying on time for years, there was some situation with my credit card, and they charged me a late fee. I took care of it as soon as I got the email about it, but they wouldn't reverse the fee and because it was the weekend, they also disabled my code, so I couldn't get in. So annoying that they would throw away a good customer relationship just to get a late fee. I then packed up my stuff and moved somewhere else.

Every little bit of it because if you make one mistake the manager is going to treat you like you're a child disrespecting her whole family and then kick you off the premises and prevent you from renting storage space there. I have never ever in my 48 years of life been treated so disrespectful. It was my first time renting there or anywhere. If she would have came at me politely and was like "hey I don't know if you might have missed this in the fine print in the policy but you can't be doing that", things would have been fine but I asked her why she had to be so rude and disrespectful to us. I asked her why she couldn't come talk to us like human beings not like animals. And because I confronted her about the way she was treating us they left a note on our door that we have to be out. People like that should not be working in customer service at all because you don't talk down to people like they're inhuman and like their children disrespecting you or what not. I'm sorry if your children do disrespect you, you don't have to be treating other human beings like that. I work in customer service and I can never ever understand how somebody can treat another human being the way she treated us.

I like this location a LOT better, and my spot is easy to back in as well, making this a no brainer decision. Feels good to have faith in management, I'll likely stay for many years to come!

Anyway, I'm happy with this lot and will stay with them until I can figure out how to legally store my RV at home. Update - Downgrading to 3 stars over the dump station. There is no water available next to it, so you cannot flush your tanks, like at almost every campground in America. Secondly, they charge you 10 dollars to use it. At the most, this should be 5 bucks, and ideally free for people that are paying to store their RV there. This is common practice in the Denver area. The rent here is a little less than most of the other places around town, but they'll nickle and dime you. Also, the 'free firewood' they advertise is basically just a pile of tree stumps and waste wood from who knows where, but it's not what you'd think it should be, none of it is ready to burn. And I've never had an issue getting in or out. The dude downstairs is always helpful when I forget the number of my unit (I know, sorry). "Why are you going in there alone?" "Why are you turning down that dark scary hallway?" The elevator is kind of scary and old and the flickering fluorescent lights are a bit unnerving, but all seems relatively well and safe here. Sure, I'm used to living in the suburbs. But I still feel like it's not terribly convenient to have a storage unit off a big busy street with meter parking (maybe you get a spot right out front, maybe not) when you're trying to pick up heavy boxes of stuff and get them to your car. They have dollys and all, but it's still odd to me to be wheeling personal items down Broadway to your car. Keep in mind they have standard biz hours so you can't make any late night stops!
