They arrived promptly in the morning with their truck and all necessary moving supplies (mattress covers, TV boxes, lots of quilts, packing material, etc) and were professional. They did a move out and a move in when w refinished the floors. They we're careful and efficient and, because I couldn't be there, good at placing furniture from pictures I left them. I especially liked the fact that everyone from the estimator to the scheduler to the moving crew was well informed about what we needed and communicated well with each other and with me. read more

They were Supposed to be there between 12-1. They called at 2 and said that they would be there within 30 minutes but did not actually show up until 4. At the end of the day they tried to charge for an extra hour. They were unable to get the base of the treadmill out and in the process scuffed and scratched the walls and banister so badly that we had to repaint the walls. We were told they would come back the next day to get the treadmill. We called them on a Sunday and heard nothing and no one showed up. On Monday they returned our call and said they would come by between 4-5, by 5pm no one had showed up so they rescheduled for the next day. Finally they came and got the rest of our stuff at 8am on Tuesday (closing on the house was at 9am). I was also not informed that a company under a different name ( a man and a van) would be responsible for our move. They charged us for an extra day of storage. I used this company in 2016, and again recently (April 2021) for the second time. They were just as wonderful this time. There was great communication before the move, and very fair pricing. On moving day, they arrived on time, with a call beforehand to let me know they were on their way. They took exceptional care...not only of my furniture and possessions, but also of me. I've used professional movers a number of times, but this was my best experience by far. I moved to a 3rd floor unit requiring climbing 2 steep flights of stairs over the busy time at the beginning of August when everyone in Boulder is moving. They gave me a great price, were done in half a day and nothing was broken. Plus the owners are nice and asked the right questions to make sure that I was happy. A great experience! read more

These guys are good. They have moved a large house of stuff twice, first to storage 7 months ago, and then to a house last week. In both cases they couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. They worked solidly, and got the job done reasonably efficiently. The quote I received for the first move was significantly lower than from another equally highly rated company, and they stuck by their quote. For the second move, the job took a lot less time than they estimated, and they charged me only for the time used. I would certainly use them again. read more

Dave and his crew are honest, hard working, very caring, and fast! We were extremely busy leading up to our move. On a Weds about 5 guys showed up to start packing the kitchen, basement, and garage. Thursday they returned early, and by mid-afternoon all our furniture was all placed properly in the new house, clothes were hung in the correct closets, and boxes were in their appropriate rooms. I packed one box of essentials and left the rest to the crew. We shared pizza and libations when the job was complete - I was very impressed and highly recommend the Moving Connection. read more

I've been so pleased with their professionalism and hardwork. They give free estimates and offer free wardrobe boxes, which they will also pack/unpack for you. The aspect that I'm the most happy with is that my clients have been satisfied with their work, which is very important! These guys work so hard yet don't act like they are being put out when asked to do something, like move a piece of furniture to a different spot. Our experience with this moving company was somewhat mixed. The movers were very professional, careful and great to work with! The administrative staff, although very nice, was disorganized. My husband and I received verbal confirmation from two different staff members with our move date. Unfortunately, we received a call a week later with a different date. Not only were we told that it was our mistake, there was never an apology for the confusion. I am a Senior Project Manager, so I can assure you the mistake was not mine. If you get your move date confirmed in writing and call to reconfirm a few days ahead of time, you'll have a great experience with this moving company. read more

I've moved five times in the last year, including three cross-country moves. My experience with The Moving Connection was by far the best I've had. The team from The Moving Connection picked up an entire houseful of furniture from the fourth floor of a storage unit in Colorado Springs and moved it to my new home in Lafayette. They were prompt, super polite and extremely careful with my things. They didn't seem bothered by moving a few things around once we arrived at the destination, and made sure I was satisfied with where everything was. I thought the price was very fair. When I phoned to arrange a move for my daughter in Boulder, Dave at Moving Connection was polite, responsive and flexible. He treated our very small move just as though it were a major, expensive one. Two very polite men, Roberto and Pete, arrived exactly on time and very carefully and efficiently and safely loaded our belongings onto a truck. Because the new apartment wasn't available to us yet, they kept our stuff on the truck over the weekend at no charge, and then arrived exactly on time on Monday to complete the second half of the move.
