    These guys are FAST. Hired them to clean out a storage unit today and I couldn't believe how quickly they filled up almost the whole truck. I think it took them maybe 30 minutes. Their men are definitely hard workers and don't mess around. When I called to book the appointment I got a 2 hour window of when they would show up and they normally give a 15 or so minute heads up (I believe) upon arrival but I requested a 30 minutes heads up of when they would arrive since this was happening at an outside location so I could get here in time and they had no issues accommodating me. While I was making the appointment I went ahead and told them I was getting a storage unit cleaned out and just to give me an idea of what was normal for that kinda clean out. He explained how pricing works and asked me if I think it would fill up about 6 pickup trucks worth (which is how much the truck holds) so I had an idea of what a higher end or worse case scenario pricing would be. They charge based on how much the truck gets filled up and yes they do a good job of stacking things very close together and as high up so they're not trying to cheat you and make it cost more. When the guys came to the appointment I was handed a chart for a more detailed pricing which also includes the things that would cost more to haul away like mattresses and appliances (because they cost more to dispose of properly) and then they gave me a range and asked if I was okay with it and went ahead and began clearing once I agreed. It did up being on the higher end of the price quote which I expected and I even budged for a little higher because there is no way for these guys to give a perfect quote or quote range before they know what they're dealing with. Overall everything went smooth. They showed up an hour into the 2 hour window. Took them 30 minutes to empty a storage unit filled with old junk and they even swept up afterwords to get up any small things left behind. The guys were super nice and I have never seen people work so hard and make it look so effortless. And honestly for a project that would have overwhelmed me and taken me forever to tackle myself, it was well worth the price for someone else to do it and to do it fast.

    UPDATE: David, you are doing the same thing in your response as done on the call, which is deflect, gaslight and fail to see the facts. The team called NOT to advise of a 4pm arrival but rather to ask if they could come earlier as they were done at their appointment and were thinking they could arrive at 3pm instead of the 4pm - 6pm window. Listen to your call log. I did advise Mohammed, who seems to be the only rational one in the whole conversation with Junk King that I work and so it is not possible. I did ask, "not tell" that I would be working until 4pm and so if I left at 4pm would be able to arrive at 5pm. He said that was not a problem. Immediately after Jacob (or may have gone by a different name), got on to rudely advice that you do not work at 5pm. Which led to the confusion given I had been given a 4pm - 6pm ETA by your call center, so 5pm was within that window. It was even more frustrating since I had just spoken to Mohammed who advised that it was ok. This kind of coordination between drivers and customers without knowing what schedulers advised customers is confusing for customers. My suggestion when I called Junk King was to probably route the calls through your call center as they handle the scheduling. I think there would be less confusion that way and ultimately less frustration for all. I understand it is your company and you feel the need to defend your crew, but I encourage you to step back and try to listen to what I am suggesting here in terms of altering your processes to help lessen confusion for all. Doing so will help your business. I definitely understand the need to defend your crew, but doing so at the expense of NOT getting all the details and assuming the customer is wrong and your crew is right will hurt you in the long run and turn off potential customers, if they feel that should they have an issue, you will immediately jump to defend your crew. I suggest you try to rationally evaluate every situation, including doing call recordings if you must, to better understand where the miscommunication/misunderstanding may have come from. You came off defensive and often talked over me, which only infuriated me more and would infuriate any customer faced with a similar experience. The planning started early today so to get a call only hours to the scheduled pick-up and have it go the way it did was nothing short of frustrating. What was even more dissappointing is that I have used Junk King before and this was not the experience I had then, so not sure what went wrong here. Learn to hear both sides and listen for clues to where your company could do better. It may take you further than coming on the call ready to jump on a customer and prove them wrong. Maybe when you calm down you can see the point I am trying to make here about proper coordination between those on your team (call center and drivers) to help remove confusion for all and trying to first see all sides before you react. My communication ends here. Take what you may from it, or leave it, in the end it is an experience I hope not to relieve. PREVIOUS: CLOWN SHOW, RIGHT FROM THE OWNER! You do not call a customer and then start going back and forth on semantics. 4pm - 6pm was my window. Mohammed got it right when I said, could I work till 4pm and be there at 5pm. IT WAS A QUESTION and he advised yes. Jacob comes on huffing and puffing saying you do not work at 5pm. Then why did your scheduler give me a 4pm - 6pm window! Then comes the biggest clown of them all, David. Failing to really understand what I as customer understood when told you do not work at 5pm. I was NOT asking for a 5pm to 7pm WINDOW. Neither was I asking for a firm 5pm. Somehow you were so busy defending Jacob, you failed to see what I was saying. I have used you before and so thought this would be a smooth process, but today's clown show, leaves me frustrated and dissappointed to know that this mess starts from the top. If you cannot even get it straight David how is your team to then get it straight? I WILL NEVER USE YOU AGAIN. You have been a good company so not sure what went wrong here.
