They "compensated" me by discounting the price by $45 which was something, but didn't make up for the two hours of carpet cleaning I had to do after they left. Personally, this will be the last time I use Jolly Junk.

I wrote them a check and went back inside. Within a minute, I heard a crash and went outside to find that our power lines can been ripped down from the connecting point to the house. We were not outside to witness this, but I ran to the alley to see the Jolly Junk truck driving away as the wires now lay down across our yard and hanging low in the alley. I called Jolly Junk to express the issue but it was quickly defensive that we didn't actually witness it. Fair enough, except that there was nobody else in the alley. The incident itself was frustrating as we need to ensure with an electrician that nothing is wrong, but the lack of accountability is worse. I imagine their service - albeit expensive - is fine. But if anything goes wrong, I hope you won't have to work with Lindsay or her team. We'll certainly be using other services from now on.

When he fertilized my lawn, instead of applying fertilizer only to the grass, he drove the fertilizer spreader all over my new concrete walkways, leaving dozens of ugly rust stains everywhere. I have spent hundreds of dollars on power washing and other attempts to resolve it and such attempts have made the problem worse, so I now have rust + discoloration all over my walkways, which is a major eyesore. It will cost me many thousands of dollars to fix this problem that Dan caused, since I will need to rip out and reinstall 3 new concrete pathways and a giant patio. Dan's response was extremely disappointing, he did not take responsibility and there was 0 concern or effort to fix the problem. I would caution against using Dan if you want someone who is thoughtful and careful on your property. I hope this review will ensure this doesn't happen to anyone else.

Thomas was an artist and would have been down with that. There are always people at the event who have envelopes so you can drop off an extra bit of money for the cause. I highly encourage it. After getting a wee bit aggressive with a landscaping project, I unexpectedly ended up with over 40 cubic feet of dirt to be removed.
