In terms of price, The original quote was very reasonable but we ended up needing more to be hauled away than originally planned. Jeremy was very upfront and reasonable about the final pricing. The team arrived on time and got to work quickly. We were so pleased with the final result that we ended up hiring them again for some light demo work in our basement. Again, work completed on time, with a reasonable price and with zero hassle. Couldn't recommend Jeremy and his team more. Will definitely be working with these guys in the future.

However, the junk removal was much more costly than other companies I've used in the past. The worst part of the experience was that the junk guys tracked mud on the carpets through the entire path from the front door to an upstairs bedroom. They "compensated" me by discounting the price by $45 which was something, but didn't make up for the two hours of carpet cleaning I had to do after they left. Personally, this will be the last time I use Jolly Junk.

We had Jolly Junk come out to take away about 10 cardboard boxes and a broken down bedframe. That…read morewas already overpriced but the guys that came to grab it were quick and nice. I wrote them a check and went back inside. Within a minute, I heard a crash and went outside to find that our power lines can been ripped down from the connecting point to the house. We were not outside to witness this, but I ran to the alley to see the Jolly Junk truck driving away as the wires now lay down across our yard and hanging low in the alley. I called Jolly Junk to express the issue but it was quickly defensive that we didn't actually witness it. Fair enough, except that there was nobody else in the alley. The incident itself was frustrating as we need to ensure with an electrician that nothing is wrong, but the lack of accountability is worse. I imagine their service - albeit expensive - is fine. But if anything goes wrong, I hope you won't have to work with Lindsay or her team. We'll certainly be using other services from now on.

I'd hired Augustin to lay a concrete pad for my sauna and hot tub about two years ago; two years…read morelater and it's holding up great! I recently purchased a greenhouse that requires a gravel pad under it for drainage, etc. Since I had such a good experience with him last time, I decided to contact him hoping he'd made gravel pads before, and he agreed to do it within a few days of my initial contact. He gave me a price upfront that was very fair, and even threw in the timber frame on thinking about it for free. He and two other guys showed up in the morning on the day we'd scheduled, and they immediately got to work leveling an ~2% grade where the pad would sit. Despite it being a bit hard to access (there's a small gate, then a bit of a trip to get to the site in my backard), they managed to get the area excavated in just a few hours using just wheelbarrows. They worked diligently putting down textile barrier, laying the timber frame, filling it a little with gravel, tamping it with a machine, and then repeating. I was very glad they did it in stages as the greenhouse directions stated, and the angular gravel they used was exactly what was called for and quite attractive besides. The timber frame is staked down in several places along the perimeter with some pretty hefty stakes, and the whole thing feels solid. There was a sprinkler head in the site that they capped off for me for free, too. They would have finished that day if it weren't for an intense storm, and to their credit they even worked a bit in the rain. I was especially impressed that, unasked, they moved a super heavy box of my greenhouse parts under cover that was left out and was going to get drenched. They returned promptly the next morning and finished up the job. Frankly, this would've taken me several weekends and a huge amount of effort to do myself, so having it done in just two days was incredible. Augustin's a great, friendly, no-nonsense guy; I really enjoyed our interaction. The pad's held up great since it was installed a week and a half ago; it's been through several sprinkler runs as well as torrential storms and it's drained beautifully and looks intact. I'd highly recommend Augustin for any hardscape projects like this. I'll definitely be contacting him again should I need more work done.

We called to a few different places, all of which had very positive reviews, Agustin came out to our house immediately after the phone call, looked over our garage and gave us a quote within a few minutes of arriving. He and his crew arrived right when they said they would, finished a bit earlier than they said estimated and the garage looks great! He was responsive and polite throughout.
