Food is good. I really enjoyed their salad, tri tip, and ribs. We tried one of their specialty pizzas which was much greener than I would a imagine a good pizza could be but it was surprisingly really good. We did a family style dinner for my friends birthday and for the 10 of us it came out to 127 with leftovers. Now that covers the food. The services here is quite different. You order at the register and you basically serve yourself. Which is good if the place isn't crowded since you don't have to wait for a waiter to come to you. But they are quite popular so the wait can be much longer than anticipated. Overall worth a look if your in the area and want some good american style dinner. read more

We celebrated my girlfriend's college graduation here. Great catering for large groups of people. The food was delicious and enough for everyone, with good variety and options. They put together over 20 tables for us so we can all fit. read more

First time here. Great salads, very good pizza. Baby back ribs average. Tasted more like boiled then finished on the grill. Garlic mashed was nice but not notable. Very tasty deserts. read more

This place is delicious! I go here with my family of 6 and we always have a great time. Their food is delicious especially their bbq tri tip, their ribs, and their pesto pasta. Of all the times I have been here I had never had bad customer service. Definitely recommend!! read more

Regular hangout spot for the office crew. Can be a bit noisy on hot days when everyone is trying to score a cool seat inside, but food is affordable particularly their lunch specials. chicken and tri-tip lunch special was pretty good but they no longer have that combo. The pesto pasta and pesto chicken sandwich is pretty much all i order along with the occasional carrot cake. read more

This New Year's Eve we decided to try something different and order food instead of cooking, so we decided to go to Stonefire Grill. We ordered the Tri-tip, ribs and lemon garlic chicken from the crowd pleasers menu. Everything was absolutely delicious!!!! Not only did ALL of us enjoy every single bite, but it was more than enough food for a bargain price!!! We were extremely satisfied with everything and we will definitely celebrate another holiday or special occasion with the food from StoneFire Grill!! Thanks again for starting our New Year off with delicious food!!!! read more

Get the family meal deal: breadsticks, tri-tip, salad. Wasn't a fan of their pizza (the stonefire favorite). Will stick with the meats next time :o read more

We ordered a to go meal for a party for 30 guests. When we went to pick it up, no one knew where the order was. Only to find out that a desk with a female employee in front of the entry area had all the to go orders, probably because it was Father's Day. But it took the employees and one manager to find out that we were suppose to check in at the table on the way in. This of course follows the fact that we called on our way there to confirm that we were coming to pick up the order. Sounds reasonable, but when we passed the table on our way in, the young lady seated at the table did not ask us if we were there to pick up or not and when we first arrived she did not have any other customers there. We saw her and the table and figured it was a private party or reception because she was right in front of the outdoor area and it looked like there was a private party going on. That's not the problem though - all very understandable, I guess. However, when my wife went out to the table she mentioned to the young female employee that maybe a better method would be to ask those entering if they have a to go order or not as it would save the customers and the staff time. I heard my wife and she was very polite and it was given in a respectful and helpful manner. After we turned I heard her call my wife a "bitch". I did not react because we were already late because it took them time to figure out where our order was. Suffice it to say that we won't be going back any time soon. It only takes one bad experience with staff to put off customers. Poor training all around by the management. read more

This is simply great family food and you can't beat the price. We LOVE the tri tip. All the salads are amazing and the soup is consistently delicious. Can't say enough about this place. I hope they're here to stay! read more

I went yesterday with a groups of ten friends. As another reviewer said, my ribs were overcooked and dry. I like dry ribs, but by that I mean without sauce. These were bad dry. As the other reviewer said, another member of my party had moist ribs. The grilled vegetables were good. The big surprise, however, was dessert. Another member of our party and I decided to share a cheesecake. We asked to have it cut in half, and delivered on two plates. They did, but oh my! Each half was huge. Also incredibly delicious. We wound up sharing our halves with the other diners. All were in agreement that this was the place to come on a birthday for dessert. The biggest problem was the price. Very pricey, except for the cheesecake. read more

The tri tip salad here is amazing. Its also very affordable. This place never fails me. The breadsticks rock too read more

Went for lunch with my sister and had the Stonefire BBQ tri tip chopped salad, garlic bread sticks and a drink. I've driven by this place many times and never thought much of it. I was amazed how good our simple lunch was and will definitely be back. As another reviewer said a small salad will be more than enough for two people. We were stuffed and only able to finish half of it. read more

MEAT LOVER'S PARADISE! AND THE BREADSTICKS.... FORGET ABOUT IT!! lol I seriously love this place. Caught me off guard when you walk in because you pay first and fill your own drinks, pick up your silverware and stuff, then sit down and wait for the order. I think this is a great idea because it prevents all that lag time that you usually have with the waiter/waitress coming to your table, asking you all that... you order first and quickly and then about 10-15 minutes later your food is at your table. Family deals are usually cheaper. We had an awesome cashier. We ordered tri-tip and ribs and a salad each but she made it the family portion, SO... we got all that Plus breadsticks Plus 3 lbs of salad that I took home and am eating throughout the week. LOL The Tri- Tip and Ribs are so delicious!!!! I'm goin back soon read more

This place is great. My brother brought me here for my birthday. He told me about his place. I love their tri tip. Mash potatoes with cheese. Food was amazing. Staff was friendly. The manager offered me a carrot cake. Very nice! The only thing was the plates look large for the portion size and I'm not a fan eating off these metal plates. (Weird). Other than that, service and food surpassed my expectations. read more

If you're looking for a quick, cheap meal this is a good spot. The food isn't gourmet and the environment is best for families with small children, but it's not bad. The mashed potatoes were delicious and it would be a great spot to get carry out (especially if you don't want to eat with lots of kids around). read more

Tri tip is delicious. Juicy and tender. I cant get enough of the breadsticks. They are so good.

Worth every bite! Quality food only. Their breadsticks are sinful - oh so Dalish! Get there a little early, the wait can be long.

I'd give this place a 1.5 review if I could. Honestly, I don't understand the hype around this place. The food is mediocre and the ambiance is bland. After living near this location over the past 2-3 years, we decided to give it a shot, especially after seeing all the positive yelp reviews, definitely a disappointing experience. As you first walk into the restaurant, you order at the cashier kiosk, and then take a number, where we received our food about 15 minutes later (which seemed fine). We ordered a Caesar salad, tomesto (1/2 pesto & 1/2 meat sauce pasta), and salmon. The Caesar salad tasted like it came out of a salad bag you would buy from the grocery store, really no effort in it. The tomesto pasta was okay but then again bland. The salmon was alright, just a slab of fish on a dish with no presentation, and a side of breadsticks. The breadsticks were pretty tasty. The outside ambiance is nice, with heat lamps and mountain/natural decor. The inside felt like an indoor cafeteria in the mountains. Tons of kids running around and noisy. Nothing was crazy bad, it just didn't live up to the 4-star + hype, I really don't understand it. I won't be coming back. read more

Well well well! I am such a happy camper! I was dreading returning to this SFG branch, because of all the trouble we had during our previous visit... I must say, I am very relieved. The cashier was very friendly & our food arrived just as we had ordered it & tasted deliciously perfect. Thank you SFG, for contacting me regarding the previous matter, for the thoughtful and generous gift card, for the wonderful food & service. This recent visit to SFG Pasadena location was a great dining experience, no complaints! read more

Great place to host an event on their patio. We had a bridal shower here and the guest loved the food. The Manager was awesome he let us have the whole patio to ourselves. They made our event special with all their help. The food is so fresh and yummy. My FAv is the salmon and Caesar salad. read more

Good service, great value, delicious food. I come here every other week or so to get take out, usually salad and breadsticks. I like all of their new salad offerings. The mean green is healthy and satifying. read more

Great BBQ sandwich and the Garlic mashed potatoes were good too. Added a slice of Carrot cake which was surprisingly good. Staff was nice and the service pretty quick for noon or so on a Sunday. Overall a good experience and wish they had a location closer to Los Feliz. read more

Good portions and decent prices. Nice outdoor-ish, covered seating area. Spacious parking lot that was surprisingly full, but we found a space fairly easily. Friendly service. I was a bit thrown by the pay up front and get your own beverage set-up. Reminded me of Sizzler's. Good place to go with family and kids. #Ribs ~ Tasty, and I'm not even a rib fan. We ordered two types, and both were good. #Breadsticks ~ Yum! I think I ate 3-4! #Roasted Chicken ~ OK. This might have been BBQ chicken. I can't quite recall, but I remember it was decent, but noting special. #Rigatoni ~ OK. But, good for the kids. #Carrot Cake ~ OK. #Salad ~ Not good. Kind of weird tasting. I forget which one I ordered, but it had a red veggie that was kind of vinegary tasting. BOTTOM LINE: Order Ribs. I might come back, once we have kids. The hubby likes ribs and this is a decent option for them. I would not make a special trip to visit this place though. This place has a lot of potential and I hope they improve the quality of food. I'd really want to love this place, since it is reasonable priced and so family-friendly. Give it a try. read more

We live nearby and noticed this place is always packed, so we went to check it out. Model is you order & pay at the cashier, and they bring the food out to you. Menu is a bit of an odd mix in my opinion - salads, pizza, a few pasta dishes, and then meats (mainly BBQ items). Food portions are large and from a value perspective / meat quality & flavor was decent (nothing stellar, but it wasn't bad either). Their bread sticks are addictive, so be careful there or else you'll be needing to spend an extra hour in the gym to work those off. Restaurant itself is huge and has both indoor and outdoor (covered) seating. Would we go back? Not sure to be honest... read more

Very good food with a wide variety on their menu. Tri-tip and ribs, lemon-garlic buttered salmon, cartwheel salad, tortilla soup, the pizza crust, breadsticks, carrot cake and cheesecake, and brownies (yum). Good service, and Danielle, the Manager, is very friendly and genuinely concerned about your experience there. read more

Meh. I always feel like a poor glutton after coming here. The portion sizes are huge and the prices ain't cheap. This place gets seriously crowded. I think people like to go here with large parties. I don't think I'll go back again. read more

The food is sooo delish!!!! The service is great. The tortilla soup is my fave. Also try the boneless lemon garlic chicken and BBQ tri tip. The mashed potatoes are awesome as well. It may seem a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for....... Tasty goodness!!!! And the portions are pretty big so there will most likely be left overs (yay for leftovers!!) read more

We got the family mean that included a bowl of salad, tritip and a slab of ribs. Breadsticks come with the meal too. We also got a large serving of pesto salad. All came out to just under $60 for 4people including soda. Not bad for sunday lunch. I liked the tritip. It was moist and and tasty. I found the pesto a bit lacking. Maybe the chicken placed on top of it was just too balnd and dry. I would go back, definitely. As far as the flies mentioned, I did see a few. Hopefully they get rid of them the next time I come back. read more

The garlic lemon chicken, works pizza and ribs were very good, the staff very attentive and the salads very fresh. They make you feel welcome and it was a great experience especially after being in traffic for hours. The bread sticks were great and got some extra home!!! I'll be back soon!!! read more

Love love love love this place! The food is affordable and delicious. The restaurant is child friendly. The outdoor patio is HUGE! My favorites are the BBQ chopped salad with tri tip, the lemon garlic salmon, the breadsticks, and we always get the pasta with meat sauce for my daughters. They gobble it up every time! And the best part is, they have curbside pickup at dinner time for those days where you just want to grab something fast to take home. read more

This place does get pretty busy sometimes but it's only a testament of how great the food is. I usually get the tri-tip & ribs combo or the chicken breast & ribs combo & both are excellent. The mashed potatoes & Caesar salad are great to have on the side as well. My boyfriend would get the pizza & we would share because the plates come with alot of food. The carrot cake for dessert is very delicious. Very moist and great flavor. When it comes to bbq, I definitely recommend this place. read more

The staffs were really helpful and friendly. They actually got my order wrong but they fixed it right away. The food was really good and the mood of the place was really chill. read more

I looooooove stone fire grill! This location mainly :). Every time we are hungry, we know that stone fire will always come through. We order the salads, the tri tips and their oh so delicious salmon and they always are consistently perfect!!!!!! Can't wait to eat there again :) read more

Came here with the family and ordered the tri-tip and ribs family dinner with the cartwheel salad and bread sticks. The tri-tip and ribs were very tender and a little bland but it tasted great with the side of BBQ sauce. The cartwheel salad would be good if you love beetroot however I don't like eating beetroot because they taste like dirt. The cartwheel salad was a little bland as well. The bread sticks were really good. Very soft with a bit of garlic butter and lots of parmesan cheese. I loved the bread sticks. We walked in the restaurant and it seemed very crowded and thought we had to wait a long time to eat but I guess people were just waiting for take out orders. We ordered firs and then got a seat and waited not too long until we got our salad and bread sticks. The drinks are self served as well as the plates and utensils. This place is a mix of fast food place meets BBQ diner. The seating on the booth was not as comfortable because you sink down as you sit and it feels as the table is a little too high. This place isn't bad just probably ordered the wrong salad and I didn't research what was on the menu before hand. I would recommend this place to try out. read more

I've always only had a tri-tip and ribs plate from here, and I have no complaints. The meats are cooked to your liking, are juicy and tender, and the salad and breadsticks are very good. I've been here at least a dozen times over the last few years and never had any complaints, and neither have the folks I've been with. I was in on Sunday (Mother's day) a bit earlier than to my liking to beat the large swarms of people who would inevitably be making their way in. I was pleasantly surprised to be seated quickly and food brought out in a very reasonable amount of time. We were enjoying our food and everything was going well when I asked our server, Justin, if I could place an order for an additional plate to-go. I would've been perfectly fine had he asked me to get in line with all the people ordering to-go, but he walked me over to a closed cash register and took my order. I went back to the table and finished eating. Needless to say, I didn't hear back from Justin for the next hour and fifteen minutes. We finished eating, made a few trips to the restroom, made a few trips to refill our cups, and nothing still. I had to ask him 3 times about my order, and he gave me the run around of it being almost out--they were a bit backed up in the kitchen, but almost there. I understand it was mother's day, and there indeed was a line outside, but over 75 minutes to get me another tri-tip and ribs plate? I ultimately had to ask Justin to refund my money. The man that issued me the refund wasn't even apologetic - he merely re-assured me as he swiped my card that "things happen - we're busy." Really? This last part was the icing on the cake for me. The last thing I need is for someone to tell me that **** happens after me having sat and wasted over an hour waiting for a plate that never made it out. It will be a long time before I willingly make my way back to this restaurant. read more

OMG Carrot cake was amazing, i usually get that on rare occasions, but i always get there lemon garlic chicken and bbq tri tip with the ceasar salad. Great combo, cant be beat for lunch and all for about $10! Glad they opened this location, use to go more often when I drove to the office out in woodland hills , and back then i remember their pizza being pretty good too esp the bbq chicken pizza, need to order that next time since its been years since i have had it read more

I was there with 4 other people. We ordered the ~$60 crowd pleaser that is meant for party of 6 or more. Restaurants often exaggerate how many people their food will feed, but Stonefire grill does not joke about amount of food. I believe 7 people can get full from this alone. We finished everything except the bread sticks, and everyone's bellies were on verge of bursting open. I got the cartwheel salad because so many reviews point at them. It did not disappoint. read more

Came here with a friend and we didn't know what to get. We even asked one of the employees, but she was as clueless as us haha. We just winged it and got the BBQ salad with Breadsticks, and the Garlic and lemon chicken. It was sooooooooooooo good. the portions are fairly big too. Small salad is enough for maybe 3 or 4 people. The staff was very friendly and checked up on us often. I liked this place a lot. I will come back soon! :D read more

I don't frequent this particular Stone Fire but both times I have come it's been ok. Customer service is good. We ordered the cauliflower which was great we also ordered the mashed potatoes, chicken with garlic and lemon and tri tip. The tri tip was very tough and the chicken was Luke warm at best. The mashed potatoes were marginal. I have been to a couple of these Restaurants and this one is not a good one. read more
