The tri tip, chicken, mashed potatoes, and garlic sticks are delicious! I've been going here for many years and the food is always great. There have been a handful of times where they messed up our order but they have always been very good at fixing the mix up. Workers all are nice and seem happy to work there. read more

Love this place! Everything is delicious, the service is great & the restaurant/bathrooms are always clean! Try the PESTO pasta, yummy! Enjoy read more

Wasn't bad for a fast food place, I wasn't sure what to expect. I've been there twice now and each time I've always gotten the Tri-Tip which has been tender and moist. The medium salad is enough for 4 people to share, so there's a lot to go around. Everything was very fresh and flavorful. It's a really easy place to get dinner and take it home to enjoy. read more

I ordered the half chicken, which came with caesar salad and bread stick, for their lunch special. I have never been so disappointed which prompted me to write my first review. The salad was decent, the bread stick was the only good thing about the meal, and the chicken was just a disaster, literally. My plate looked like the chicken exploded with all the picking and failed attempts to get it to my mouth. The white meat was too dry and the dark meet was too mushy and disintegrated into pieces with each touch. It tasted old and flavorless. The skin was the only thing that made it bearable to eat. Based on the reviews for this place, I was probably unlucky with what I ordered. I think it shouldn't even be on the menu. Would I come back? Most likely not anytime soon. read more

True, it was a bit of a zoo. But what do you expect? It's family friendly. So, if you don't have kids and want to pay a lot of money for amazing food - go somewhere else. If you DO have kids, don't worry about people judging you for bringing your circus... Food was decent, service was great. read more

Good offerings for lunch options with tri-tip, chicken, or salmon fire grilled to perfection. Multitude of salad options to accompany or as a meal. Salads are large portions so come hungry or share with a friend. The garlic sauce is tasty but can be a bit oily so ask for half-serving to cut down a bit. Breadsticks are excellent and come paired with lunch menu items. Add a second, they're delicious. read more

I had a great experience here.. Clara Y was extremely nice and took her time explaining things as it was my first time eating at stonefire. I had the tri-tip south salad (blanking on the full name) but it was good.. not mind-blowing but good.. wish they put more tri-tip. One of the managers asked me how I was doing and I sang Clara's praises. I definitely liked the customer service here and will be coming back. I had an enjoyable time :) read more

I eat here often because I love everything here. It was a simple decision to have them cater my dinner party. Everyone loved it..and it was so easy. They made me a hero...Thanks Stonefire. read more

Hands down one of our favorite places to eat. We have dined in and taken it to go many many times. We have had a couple issues with the BBQ chicken being a little grainy but every time we called about it and they replaced it free of charge. We have even gotten some free carrot cake once or twice (its amazing). Our favorite items are the Pepper Garlic tri tip, Cesar Salad (best I have ever had), carrot cake, ribs and pizza. Ask about their Stimulus package that has a little of everything for a great price. read more

Not a huge fan but I don't dislike either. Food quality is alright service is alright: Just alright. Can't knock it can't promote it. I have always had the chicken Caesar salad and it was bland and boring not my first choice here, have definitely had better. Not 100% on this place, would come bCk if I was In a bind. Bad idea being next to California fish grill which is da bomb! read more

The chicken and tri tip is decent. The meals which come with one small choice side and a choice of salads on the side is a far price. The only reason I give this a 3 instead of a 4 star review is because they occasionally mess up orders or dropped my food on the floor the previous visits I have had. :/. The employees are friendly though! :) read more

The tri tip and the chicken breast are amazing. I always spring for the Caesar salad or beans. Breadsticks are bonus amazingness. Very casual atmosphere. Order at the counter and the food is brought to your table. read more

We were all set to go to to Urban Plate but the line was out the door. I had never been to Stonefire before and had no idea what they were known for - BBQ meat plates, as it turns out. No thanks, not at lunch. I had the small BBQ chopped salad which comes with tri-tip or chicken. Chicken, please! The salad was huge - if that was the small the large must be for a family. It was delicious and the bbq chicken pieces studded throughout were divine! Really smoky and very tender. The greens were perfect and the dressing was good too. You order at the counter and food is brought to your table - which are plentiful as the place is huge and there is outdoor seating as well. It's a tad on the noisy side and VERY casual. I'll be back with my BBQ-Fanatic husband and report on their smoky meats. If the chicken in my salad is any indication I'm sure we will be pleased! read more

Pretty good tri tip but... they putt some radish butter right on top of it like really? Not on the side but on top which btw doesn't taste good at all... read more

They have great deals and their pizzas are on point! Their steaks, salads, bread sticks, etc. were very tasty. I wouldn't mind coming back here for some awesome American food. read more

I don't write review often but today I feel like I must. Nothing worse then ruining an experience with poor service, especially from a supervisor. I was picking up some family meal for the family, the staff are always friendly and professional. After noticing my order was wrong( I actually found out they gave me more then a ordered and paid for) I bought it up to the staff who for some bizarre reason asked for a supervisor. The supervisor looked then told me it's wrong and it was too much then with out a simple thank you or sorry for the mistake walks away with the extra food. WTF! What an arrogant guy! Even the staff was stun he just looked at me with a look of " that was the boss not much I can say"...so shame on you stonefire, places with crappy service and don't even bother to appreciate that your customer tried to honest and save you money should be out of business. Your food is in the trash very unhappy with this horrible attitude especially from a supervisor don't know the name he has short( think he is going bald) with some facial hair you deserve to get fired! Since my last review stonefire has reached and apologized all though the experience remains to be negative points to stonefire for doing the right thing and caring about what customers think! Great follow up guys! read more

I tried this place based on the reviews, and I don't understand the hype? The staff was helpful, but the atmosphere was odd and the food was just mediocre. Based on people's pictures, I was expecting great things. The presentation of our plates was sad, and the food was very bland. The only thing I really enjoyed was the breadsticks. read more

tri tip - YUM beans was more like a chili mashed potato was missing the garlic baked cauliflower was ok... not a fan of the sauce pizza was ok salads are good read more

This is one of my go to spots. The food is always good and the service always great. The servers are always smiling and willing to go the extra mile. This really goes a long way and keeps me coming back. The parking is always abundant and the restrooms clean. I love the kale salad. The tritip bbq salad and the tritip bbq pizza. The pizza is one of my favorite pizzas. I am not a big pizza person but this one is seriously good and fits my buds well. The concept of this restaurant is solid. read more

Ordered 4 dozen breadsticks for a school event and was told it would take 5-10 min. It took 25 min+ and we were late for the school event because of it. Good food but I definitely wouldn't count on their estimated pick up time if you need the food for a certain time. The staff was also not the least bit apologetic for the extra wait time. read more

I can't believe that this restaurant is still open. Each time I placed my order it was incorrect. I'm not sure the kitchen staff, or whoever is preparing the orders cares about quality. I order tried tip well done, it's practically raw. Then I have to wait for the new order, by that time my other food is cold. I come here so I don't have ti cook, but I end up cooking or reheating anyway. So I guess I'm looking for my next restaurant. Gave you guys too many chances. Oh by the way why so stingy with sauce and dressing. A whole meal and all I get is two small sauces and small dressing. And I have to PAY for more. read more

Delicious food AND great service here at the Irvine Stonefire Grill location! Thank you Camila and Coyor for making our dinner experience so wonderful! read more

Awesome place to eat! Especially the cauliflower! Love that I can order a whole head of it!! Very healthy and absolutely delicious!!

I love this place, people are kind, especially Lemon garlic salmon is great. I drive from far away just for salmon. But I have one more disappointment with out of stock salmon and chicken, not for the first time. So sad. And I drove back. Better supply chain please. Besides go and eat there. Prices are increasing though. read more

I went here many years ago and really didn't like what i ordered. I revisited just a couple weeks ago with a friend. He has been to this place several times so had a better idea of what is good here. We ordered the tri tip for 2 special and boy was it good . You can't beat the price at 2 for $19.99. The tri tip with BBQ sauce was very good. We ordered a caesar salad to share and also a side of quinoa. Both were good though the salad was a bit light on the dressing. They will bring more for you if asked. Anyway i am now a fan. It is a very noisy place as since it is more family oriented there are a lot of noisy kids. Just know what to expect. I knocked off a star for that. It is also very crowded but it looks like they are expanding. I can't wait to see the expansion. read more

This place is delicious! Went with my friend and we ordered the tomesto pasta, and the lemon chicken breast and bbq Tri tip. The service was great and our food came quickly:) read more

Had a great meal with a buddy last night at Stonefire/Irvine. Couldn't recommend it more highly. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was great too. Best of all was one of the young servers! I believe her name was Eevee. Look for her there. She's so friendly, and made our dinner even more enjoyable! read more

Food was great. We had a larger group on a Sunday night, the staff was very accommodating. Hiva helped us figure out how much food we needed and was very patient with us. Stonefire Grill has been a consistent place for us for many years. Most recently, I went there for a casual wedding rehearsal dinner and take out for our extended family and both times they were excellent. The value can't be beat and and the quality's pretty good too. Although they don't take reservations, they were pretty helpful when we told them we were having about 50 people there. We couldn't reserve the patio so we just had a few people get there 30 minutes early to set it aside. Last week, we picked up food for our family (6 adults + 2 kids) and got their stimulus meal package. Not a bad deal! We got 2 of them and it was more than enough food with leftovers. Each meal includes 1 of the meats, breadsticks, some come with a small pizza, and a salad for 20 bucks each! So we spent $40 to feed 8 of us, not bad at all (esp. since we could've feed at least 1 more person). read more

I love the food - the tri tip is amazing! When you check out this place be sure to ask for the Stimulus Package - you will get a ton of food that can last for a couple meals if you are feeding 2. Everything they serve rates pretty high, even their salads are good. read more

Nice place and even better pricing for what you get. If you are in a hurry and want some good I would recommend this place. They seem to be very efficient, I was in and out in about 3o minutes. Get the breadsticks. read more

I ordered a hawaiian pizza... the bread was like cardboard... and there was minimal toppings probably 1-2 pieces of pineapple and ham on each slice of pizza.... wouldn't recommend this place read more

Cartwheel salad - 2 stars. Radish overkill. Tri tip roast - 4 stars. Surprisingly good for what I expected. Pesto pasta - 5 stars. My fav here, dunno what it is but I love it! Overall more like a 3.5 rating but will have to come back for another try. read more

Good food and great meat. Everything I tried taste of sweet ambrosia. Definitely a euphoric experiance.

The food is normally pretty good. I particularly like the baby back ribs and tri tip. Their meals are also pretty decently priced with good portions. Though recently I've had a few to-go orders and for whatever reason the food is never hot enough and I live only 5 minutes away from the place. I would understand that it cools down a little, but this is to the point where it's cooler than lukewarm and I feel I need to reheat it to enjoy the meal. read more

Just had the individual tritip meal,( the pepper kind with the Gorgonzola on top)with garlic mashed, oh my goodness wowwwww super tender and juicy tritip, the mashed with real roasted garlic hunks, delicious. Worth every penny. read more

Big fan of their tri-tip, lemon garlic chicken, and caesar salad. I get it pretty much once a week. Prices are great at lunchtime and still pretty good at dinner for the high quality of the food. It's been awhile, but I don't remember loving their pizza. Anyway, still 5 stars for me. read more
