From the outset, Jeri made sweeping assumptions about our situation without asking a single question. Her repeated commentary about our 13-month-old, who was calm and quiet the entire time, was inappropriate and unprofessional. She told us to "put him down" because she didn't think we could remember the ballpark numbers she was quoting on the fly, and stated more than once that we should have hired a babysitter "because people who are serious about this do." Both my husband and I rearranged our work schedules and made meaningful time for this meeting. As an hourly employee of my own business, this was a significant investment of time, and to be told we weren't taking it seriously was both insulting and entirely untrue. Midway through the meeting, while showing us three discontinued cabinetry lines, with no mention of what they currently sell, Jeri quizzed us on the price ranges she had mentioned earlier. When I repeated $7-21k instead of $8-21k, she used this as evidence that we weren't paying attention. She also criticized my husband for not taking notes. We attempted to name the tension in the room in hopes of resetting the tone and salvaging the conversation, but Jeri remained dismissive and unapproachable. We were left confused as to how the meeting had become so negative, and deeply disappointed by the lack of professionalism. We ultimately cut the meeting short and left. I am so glad I did not read about Stone International on Yelp before I used them for the first time, because I probably wouldn't have given them a chance.. That would have been too bad because I have found them to be wonderful for the 4 kitchens I have remodeled using their cabinets and countertops. I have renovated 3 airbnb kitchens as well as my daughter's kitchen using Stone International and everyone LOVES the kitchens. The cabinets and countertops are VERY reasonably priced, but look great. I can only think the people who gave bad reviews to this company expected white glove service that comes with cabinets that are 3 times the price. The cabinets have dovetail joints and easy close drawers. I have never bought the painted (white or grey) cabinets, so I can't really speak to the quality of those. But the Maple cabinets look great. (I do have a friend/colleague who remodeled her personal kitchen with their grey shaker cabinets and they looked wonderful.) So, I have used Stone International four times now and I will definitely use them again for future projects. And btw, everyone I've dealt with there has been very nice and helpful (I use Olga for design and ordering). But, I believe anyone can get sour if they are not treated well, so maybe that's the issue? Otherwise, I really can't understand many of the comments here. Also, just to be clear, they don't know I'm reviewing them, and they are not giving me any benefit for this review. I decided to review them today for two reasons. First, I just recently discovered they are on yelp and the reviews are weirdly (in my opinion) poor. Second, they just delivered two kitchens worth of cabinets to the two condos I am renovating in Winter Park, and my contractor told me they were super helpful in getting all the cabinets into the condos - even though there is a ton of snow up there. (As a comparison, the delivery man for the flooring that was delivered yesterday just dumped the 2 pallets of Luxury Vinyl Plank in the parking lot and did not help my contractor get them to the condos at all.) I can't quite give them 1 star but 2 is a stretch. I always felt like I was an inconvenience to them. Ended up starting with buying white shaker cabinets for two bathroom vanities - spent $1200. Finish is VERY fragile! I swear they chip if you look at them funny. (I will likely have the doors and drawer fronts replaced by another company in the near future.) All I can say is I am very glad that I didn't order an entire kitchen of these cabinets! I did not do granite through Stone International. Their price was higher than other places I checked - and that was using pieces from the remnant yard. In general, there are better places to source cabinets and countertops than Stone International. Was it a terrible experience? No. Did they give me a reason to be a repeat customer? Also a No. 2/13/22 Changed my mind. I can give them one star. Cabinet color appears to be changing. The cabinets now have a softer white color while the filler is bright white. Also, as time passes (it has been less than 90 days), more flaws are becoming apparent - like seeing virtually every mortise joint on doors and drawer fronts. read more

I'm not a fan of spending my personal time writing reviews, but our recent experience during a kitchen remodel has left me no choice but to state the facts of the poor experience we recently had with Stone International. In late 2017, we contracted a designer to help with our kitchen cabinets. After approving the design, she took it to Stone International to finalize and order. Stone International suggested to CJ Seavall Design that she order a particular white finish of cabinet that could then be painted a navy blue. To our understanding, they also suggested to CJ Seavall Design, a contractor who specialized in installing and painting cabinets. After paying CJ Seavall Design for the project, she ordered the cabinets and paid Trinity Home Solutions to handle the painting and installation of the cabinets. Against our request, the cabinets were painted on-site, in our freshly painted dining room, resulting in several large overspray on our walls and ceiling. The installer than began to set cabinets with no regard to leveling. After contacting the designer about our concern with un-level cabinets, no fix was provided. There is currently a 1/2 difference between one corner of our cabinets to the next. Our countertop installer has informed us that a 1/2 difference is too much to be shimmed when installing countertops. The largest issue is the lack of professional knowledge when came to painting the cabinets. The method used by Stone International's recommended installer proved to be an utter disaster. None of the paint is adhering to the cabinets. It peels off by simply rubbing the cabinet. In reaching out to Stone International about the manufacture specs of the cabinets, none of our requests for information have been fulfilled. We are told that someone else will have to call us back, but we have yet to receive a call with the information. In talking with two other painters, this type of surface should not be painted. There are countless other issues with the cabinets. Unlevel hardware. Rubbing doors. Mis-aligned crown molding. Poor plumbing cutouts putting stress on water supply lines. The unfortunate part of this entire experience is CJ Seavall Design, Stone International or Luis at Trinity Home Solutions lack of attention to detail. I would not recommend trusting these people to assist with a kitchen remodel. read more

She did not get my order correct because she spend zero time talking to me about what I wanted. I had to email her revised specs for the revised quote. Do NOT trust these people to fabricate and install the granite they sell. After visiting many other sources in town, I chose Stone International because their prices were fair and my salesperson was helpful and reassuring regarding my project, a kitchen counter replacement. But, you pay for what you get;( The one seam needed for my project is very noticeable and clearly the fabricator made no effort whatsoever to match the color of the background between the two pieces, so a piece with a bright white background is next to a piece with a warm beige background. This seam sits right in front of the sink which is right in front of the window and it is very noticeable from many feet away and at any angle. The store owner, Ben, came to look at the project and refused to acknowledge that I had ANY reason to be unhappy. He denied there was even the slightest problem, and after many attempts by me to reason with him he said I 'would never be happy' and that I "didn't know what I was talking about". His only offer to make it right was to ask me to give them an additional $660 so they could provide a new piece, on top of the $4,100 quoted for the job. To add to my frustration, once I set up the accessories for my new workstation sink, the sink cutout is 1/2" too small on all sides, so the custom chopping board doesn't fit. The fabricators had my sink, and the box it was shipped in, although the guy who came to measure declined to take the paper template that came with the sink - go figure? They had no excuse to make this second huge mistake. Judging by the other reviews left for them, this company, specifically Ben the owner, doesn't make any attempt to keep their customers happy. Furthermore, although their website displays the BBB accreditation logo, they are NOT accredited by the BBB, and the last positive review here was posted in 2017. Buyer beware. read more

Jeri Mason is by far the most unprofessional person I've dealt with in many years. She always has a condescending tone when you speak with her. I contacted her today regarding a cracked cabinet. Explained that I de-boxed it a day ago to find that it was cracked. She asked some very particular questions in an accusatory manner... She was basically attempting to discredit me and remove all culpability from herself or the company. All I received was excuses and her detailing her 13 years of experience and no one ever having a complaint about the products. I explained that I had a few cabinets that had damage, but again it fell on deaf ears and the need on her part to be defensive with me. This is by far the most unprofessional representative of the company and I will be sure to advise my contractor community to do business elsewhere. Horrible experience. From beginning to the end, awful. Was told they had time for me over the phone and to come. Got there, then was told to leave because I needed an appointment. Then was told to stay so they could take my order. Installation guy was 3 hours late, Stone International didn't do anything about it. Told me he would be here bt 8-9. I advise is to stay far away from Stone International. Their prices seems good but work and service is terrible. It has been 8 months and we are still waiting for the to finish the Kitchen. They install the cabinets but the island backing, trim and draws are not finished. They reinstalled my dishwasher and did not tighten the water connection and ruined my basement ceiling. The delivery was over a week late, and the delivery men (three hours late) asked my contractor to help them unload the truck. They checked off everything although two pieces were missing. My contractor should have checked things off but he was busy unloading the truck. We called repeatedly to ask for a solution. Instead of honoring my purchase, I had to buy the two pieces a second time. Olga, my original sales representative, did not have a solution to my problem other than to tell me I was wrong. Jeri, a customer service manager, quickly helped me resolve my problem. My kitchen cabinet installation is very late, and it's unfortunate that Stone International couldn't give me $85 in cabinet pieces to a) save a customer and b) avoid a scathing review. Geri gave us an estimate for a counter top over the phone. She was friendly and seemed sincere and offered to meet in person. We drove the distance down to the showroom and looked at remnants. We discussed price at her desk, went through measurements, and walked the section of remnants outside. We picked a potential basic piece of quartz and she gave us a quote. The piece we chose was not our ideal choice, so she encouraged us that she would keep her eyes open and mark a different piece for us as more pieces became available. She offered to upgrade us to a style of our liking without adding additional cost. It seemed like a more reasonable deal. We tried contacting Geri to see if any pieces had become available. She said she would email us some options, never did, so we called and she said we would need to come down again. We finally found a time in our schedules to get back down there. When she pulled up the quote for the piece we had originally left our name on the price had gone up over 100 dollars. She then told us that she pulled our name off the piece a couple of days ago. We wondered if we could walk through the remnants with her and discuss other possibilities. She brought her measuring tool out and told us that the pieces we were interested in were "too small." We corrected the fact that the pieces were, indeed, large enough. She then got short with us and told us that the owner was upset with her for quoting us too low, and pointed out pieces of granite that would "fit our budget" and even suggested "we go with a small business instead." When walking back inside she said "have a good day" to us. I replied that we were intending to come back inside to get a price on the potential pieces... We sat down and the quotes she came up with were more than double the original price. Yes, they were "upgraded" pieces, but she had said originally that she could upgrade for us with no additional cost. I find it dishonest to alter original quotes, and at the very least, she could have honored the original quote for the base piece. It was a long drive home on my one day off after working a long week. read more

If you're looking for quality granite at a reasonable price, Stone International may be a good option. If you need cabinets, this is NOT the place to shop. The old adage of you get what you pay for describes our experience. While the price of the cabinets fell into our price range, and are beautiful, we got more than we bargained for with a prolonged cabinet installation and poor customer service. If you decide to purchase cabinets with Stone International, you might consider contracting a company to verify the cabinet measurements, provide an assessment of any considerations you may need to take prior to the start of construction, and to install the cabinets. The owner overlooked a number of issues during his initial assessment of our kitchen. This resulted in the cabinet installation taking over three days. He was professional when we were negotiating cabinet styles, drawers, and upgrades. However, when another company damaged some of the kickboards, doors, and cabinet walls, he became resistant to fixing these problems, even though they offered to compensate him for all repairs. While much of the damage was minor, I asked for some of the parts to be replaced as the cabinets were less than three weeks old. He told me I was being too picky and that 'only you will know there's damage.' While that's true, I wanted these cabinets fixed based on principle. These cabinets were brand new, and I wanted to enjoy my untarnished cabinets. Shame on you, as I'm sure you would not tolerate this in your own home. read more

I was getting a great price on the countertops so I decided to live with the poor follow up. The granite and quartz countertop selections are marginal and overpriced. The cabinets that are presented are value oriented; unfortunately quality workmanship is completely absent. Most importantly the showroom customer service etiquette, from the sales staff to owners, is lacking in competence, respect and, most of all trust. Following the in-home measurement and estimate, the bid suspiciously advanced at contract signing an astounding fifty-percent. The justification by Stone International was a modest oversight on measurements, upgrades and material cost. The overall contract had been arranged to accommodate Stone International, not the customer. The contract language exhibits very risky partiality, and this alone should be the red-flag that terminates the deal. I highly encourage all prospective pursuers of a kitchen upgrade to use extreme caution when considering Stone International. The better option: patron an established venue that guards its reputation with honesty and professionalism; the financial commitment will be worth it in the end. read more

We selected Stone International because of the reasonable prices on granite countertops and believed expertise. We should have researched a lot more options. I would never go back to Stone International again. We were never treated like an important customer to them. The woman in the office constantly left our conversations to tend to other customers and answer the phone, not once did she do that for us. After the poor customer service in the office, we ended up having to lay out the cuts of the stone by ourselves based on measurements that we had taken, with the ongoing promise that someone would be with us shortly to assist. Four hours later, we finished the tape layouts and left before anyone ever showed up. The team that did the formal measurements apparently need to learn the adage 'measure twice and cut once.' One of the primary pieces of the granite that butted up against the stove was too long, so they bashed a hole in our wall to slide the excess stone in. There are several other places where the stone was not cut properly and left gaping holes between the back wall and the counter tops. We selected a thick backsplash tile to help fill the gap, however, there are still areas where it is obvious that the stone was cut improperly. The cuts around the sink were uneven and when they attempted to fix, they made the problem worse and the solution was to fill it with some filler that is very visible. We relied on them for their experience in this project and they failed. read more

We are just finalizing building a new house. I could write a book on all the problems, but I'm going to praise one of the three places we had excellent service. Jeri made it happen for us. The cabinets and countertops she provided were the only things in our entire project that were under budget. They were exactly what I wanted and our contractor was amazed at how well they went in. Everything was perfect. The cabinets are perfect and the countertops even better. Jeri spent as much time with me as I needed and I needed lots of time. Juan and the crew that fabricated and installed the countertops were absolutely top notch. He went to the extra effort to match the veining on the counters from left, across the island and end on the right side. They delivered and installed on the Saturday before Labor Day. They answered questions and were proud of their work. I had questions on Jeri's day off and the girls in the office were very helpful and found the answers I needed. They did exactly what they said they would do, when they said they would, which is incredibly rare. If everyone we worked with was as professional as the people at Stone International, I might want to build a house again someday. Or not! read more
