We hired a2z builders to add a 3/4 bathroom to our 1900 home, and we managed the entire project from out of state. They made that surprisingly easy. The team helped us with selections, gave us timely updates, and checked in with us before any change or decision. Adam, one of our project managers, was a pleasure to work with: responsive, organized, and easy to communicate with. The finished bathroom looks great, and the craftsmanship shows. They also went above and beyond at the end. When the adjoining dining room needed some paint and trim work to tie everything together, they took care of it on their own because they wanted the finished result to be right. That saved us a long drive and a weekend of DIY. An old house always comes with surprises, and they handled every one professionally. We'd recommend them without hesitation. read more

We had a great experience working with A2Z Builders on our basement remodel. The finished space looks great and functions exactly as we hoped. They completed the project on time, and communication throughout the process was good, especially when discussing finishes and design decisions. The team and crew were respectful of our home and did their best to keep things clean throughout the project. As with any remodel, a few unexpected issues came up, but they were adaptable, willing to address problems, and able to find solutions. Overall, we're very happy with how our basement turned out and appreciate A2Z Builders' professionalism, communication, and commitment to getting the job done. We would recommend them to other Denver-area homeowners considering a remodel. read more

Our home has a new beautiful kitchen thanks to Jim and Shaina. They addressed my few concerns with professionalism and went above and beyond to make sure they were addressed properly. I have used Jim in the past to remodel a master bathroom. I absolutely trust their choices to make sure everything is properly done. read more

This project was long and stressful. We signed the contract in March 2025. We had a discussion about the expectations about our back yard porch which introduced a change. Then we decided to get a digital rendering of the porch which came out great, but came with a price of over $1k in addition to the initial Estimate which was over 40k. Some time went by and we heard very minimal about the project between March and August. I decided to do a review on yelp to motivate the company to do something with our project. I received a phone call from the PM about how this affects their business. I agreed that I would remove that review and add a review at the end. Our understanding was that there would be quality control and communication weekly along the way however; this was not the case. There were days where the painter and foundation person came when they said they would and other times they didn't. A couple of times I would go out and look and tell the construction worker that the quality was not acceptable. This occurred on more than one occasion. I called the PM to tell him that this was the problem. It got fixed and we ended up with a beautiful porch in Mid November with a total of $45k spent. If you have the time and money to spend to guide this project the exact way that you want then yes, otherwise; I would recommend a different company. read more

We had a great experience with A2Z remodeling our primary bathroom. Adam was a wonderful project manager and was super responsive. He made sure we were happy with the finished product. They finished ahead of schedule, and we would definitely use them again! We love our new bathroom!! read more

Barak helped us complete our unfinished basement into a bedroom and new bathroom. We unfortunately dealt with a fraudulent contractor before working with A2Z but they helped us complete the project quickly and within our budget. Their communication was great, every worker that came to our house was respectful and did great work. We had a newborn at home and they were all respectful of noise and timing.Overall we are so happy with our results and can't recommend them enough! read more

We couldn't be happier with the incredible work A2Z Builders did on our home remodel. From start to finish, their professionalism, communication, and attention to detail exceeded all expectations. One of the standout aspects of working with A2Z Builders was their seamless communication. Using WhatsApp, they kept track of every request, update, and change throughout the project. This made the entire process transparent, organized, and stress-free. Satchel, the Lead Project Manager, was truly the heart of the project. His patience, responsiveness, and empathy made the renovation experience smooth and enjoyable. He was detail-oriented, ensured everything was done correctly, and welcomed changes without hesitation. Satchel's leadership gave us confidence that our home was in the best hands. I'm already recommending Satchel to friends and family for remodeling projects because he's simply amazing! Philipe, another Project Manager, deserves recognition for his dedication to keeping the crew on time and each task running smoothly. His consistent presence onsite ensured that deadlines were met and quality was maintained. Thanks to his oversight, we always knew the project was progressing exactly as planned. He also has a great eye for style and gave us lots of recommendations :) Macy, Lead Designer, brought our vision to life with creativity and expertise. She guided us through the kitchen layout, tile selections, and bathroom accessories, helping us achieve a design that perfectly balanced our different styles. Her eye for detail tied the entire remodel together beautifully--from the kitchen and bathroom to the fireplace and beyond. We wholeheartedly recommend A2Z Builders to anyone considering a renovation--whether small or a full house remodel. Their team is professional, talented, and genuinely cares about their clients. Choosing A2Z Builders was the best decision we made, and we are absolutely thrilled with the results. Satchel, Philipe, and Macy made the experience unforgettable, and we are grateful for their dedication, professionalism and expertise. Also, they were a blast to work with and we can't wait to do more projects with this team in the very near future! read more

I was looking to have my kitchen fully remodeled by a company with an A class license without the headache of having a contractor that would need to sub out part of the job. A2Z builders fit everything I needed! I worked closely with Benjamin Triger, the project manager. I appreciated his prompt communication, adherence to my timeline, and his quality control of the workers and overall outcome. I've already recommended him to my parents for their upcoming home remodel! read more

We had an outstanding experience with A2Z Builders and our project manager, Noam Bar-On. They transformed the unfinished portion of our basement -- which previously had bare concrete floors, an awkward HVAC unit hanging in the middle of the ceiling (that I constantly bumped my head on), and a poorly defined utility area -- into a thoughtfully designed, highly functional space. What was once an uncomfortable, underutilized area is now a beautiful basement with a dedicated office, a workout space, and a much better-sized, well-organized utility room. In addition, they replaced all of our carpet with hardwood floors throughout the main level, and the results are amazing. The craftsmanship and finish quality exceeded our expectations -- the house feels completely elevated and refreshed. Noam was exceptional throughout the entire process. He worked closely with me on the overall design, offered smart and practical solutions, and truly understood what we were trying to accomplish. He came by daily to make sure every detail was executed correctly and was always attentive, responsive, and proactive. His hands-on approach gave us a lot of confidence that the project would turn out right -- and it absolutely did. I can't say enough good things about Noam and the A2Z team. If you're looking for a contractor who is thoughtful, detail-oriented, and genuinely cares about the final result with a great value, I highly recommend them. read more

Miserable experience, poor communication, 35% over the original quote As soon as we signed the contract, everything went south. In summary: 1. The GC was not forthcoming and told us what we wanted to hear, not what needed to happen. As a result we were left feeling very stressed about trying to stay ahead of the work so that something that we did not ask for was done. 2. Communication throughout the project was a battle. Our GC and other subcontractors would show up unannounced. When we asked if he could give us a 10-minute heads up before he or anyone else showed up and this was an unreasonable request. 3. Our GC from A2Z clearly did not have a good relationship with many of the subcontractors. His communication was so poor that one day we came home, and our house was unlivable (no carpets, dust all over everything, and our possessions were moved without our consent). To top it all off, one of our pets was injured due to his negligence, and we had to take her to the emergency vet. 4. When we wanted to make changes, our GC was never able to provide details on the scope of the change. He would copy and paste from another project; nothing was tailored to us. It was clear he was either lazy, did not care, or did not know how to do his job. If we asked to speak with someone else at A2Z it was nearly impossible. 5. Prior to the contract being signed, we were promised 2 GCs would be working on the project. As soon as the contract was signed, we never saw or heard from the second GC again. 6. Payment requests were made based on when a portion of the project was predicted to be completed. When A2Z did not meet the deadline, we were expected to still make the payment based on the original date and were sent daily late notices. 7. We paid 35% more than what was originally quoted. 8. Our GC was like a used car salesman. It was also very clear that he did not have much knowledge about managing a large project such as finishing a basement. When we had questions, he would dodge them and if we said we still didn't understand he got angry and often raised his voice at us. If it was possible I would give A2Z 0 stars. read more

Finding a solid contractor is always a challenge and doubly so when you are new in a city. Satchel and A2Z simply did an excellent job. Our project required both city and landmark permitting which Satchel and A2Z managed at every step. We simply couldn't have succeeded in this project without Satchel's day to day management and oversight of the project while we resided out of state. My only regret is we didn't put even more projects on their plate. We will definitely work with Satchel again in the future. read more

UPDATE: They want me to remove this review, which goes to show that A2Z are manipulating reviews to try to look competent. I'm not going to remove my review to let them manipulate people. I spent hundreds of thousands of dollars with them, I think they can sit in their dirty diaper. Original review: If you want ALL the plumbing and electrical to be done incorrectly in your house. And to be able to find ticking time bombs from their poor work that could flood your house.... These are the worst contractors in CO. Don't be fooled by the good reviews, they are artificially making themselves look good. read more

I wanted to provide an update to my earlier review. The company contacted me and let me know that there had been some miscommunication on their end, which resulted in mistakenly not getting back to me. It was an understandable accident, and not their customary practice. They worked with me to refine the bid to more closely match my expectations. I did not end up working with them but I felt very good about the way they responded to my concerns. Barak Assis, in particular, really went out of his way to make sure that my needs were addressed, including making several phone calls about the project, and referring me to an electrician. Even though he had nothing to do with the earlier miscommunication, he went above and beyond to make sure that it was properly addressed. I appreciate the customer service and would not hesitate to work with these guys, particularly with Mr. Assis. read more

We worked with A2Z and were impressed by the speed of our renovation. We replaced flooring throughout our entire home, and complete overhauled four first floor: kitchen, living room, dining room and bathroom. For these reasons I would recommend A2Z to others considering a renovation. read more

Idan and Brian were the PM's on my remodel. It was extensive, essentially putting the house back together from the studs. Idan and Brian were incredibly responsive and managed to get the whole project done in about 3 months, including applying for the permit in Boulder County. The work they did was of the highest quality and they came back promptly after the project was finished to fix little things that were overlooked or out of place. These guys are professional, honest, efficient, and great communicators. I would highly recommend them. read more

I asked for an estimate on a small trex deck at about ground level. There is some concrete work needed, but the estimate came out to over $207 a square foot. If you don't want the work, just say the job is too small. To put this into $ terms, it's a 275 sq ft deck for over $57k. I actually wondered if they put the decimal place incorrectly until I did the math. The other quotes I received were for half or less than half as much. read more

Highly recommend A2Z Builders Our home in Louisville was affected by the fires. We needed new flooring, paint and a remodel of kitchen and Master Bathroom. A2Z came highly recommended through various review sites. After meeting Yuval and listening to his ideas and enthusiasm, we signed. The biggest problem we faced was getting building permits issued since local government is swamped with all the rebuilding. Once the permits were finally issued, Yuval's team got to work immediately. Our new kitchen looks amazing, as does our new master bathroom. They even put in a wall for us as well as all the new laminate flooring, painting, tile and required plumbing and electrical, interior doors and a new front door. The people that came out were all very friendly and hard-working. Yuval and his project manager Barr were available on the Whatsapp group chat and responded quickly to any questions. They checked in with us about each part of the process to let us know who was coming and what they were doing that day or week. They consistently checked in with us to see how we liked the changes, if we had any questions or concerns. Unlike reviews of some other contractors, there was no lack of communications or upsells or deceit. Everything was upfront and no surprises. We are very pleased with the work done and are enjoying our new and improved spaces! It feels like home again! read more

We recently completed a bathroom remodel to our primary bathroom. A2Z was the main contractor and did a great job. From the outset, they were friendly, professional, they planned well, and kept us informed. They even set up a communication group on WhatsApp so we could all text one another whenever. Wisely, they waited for all the supplies to arrive before they began work. There were some supply chain problems but it wasn't A2Z's fault. Yuval and Eli (management) came over frequently to inspect what had been done and plan out the next phase. They provided subcontractors who were pleasant and did great work. The final product looks great. They really made an effort to make sure we were happy with the work and tried to make sure we were all on the same page before beginning the next step. Remodeling is a pain but A2Z did everything in their power to make it as pleasant as possible. read more

We used A2Z for a full bathroom remodel. They did an awesome job! We worked with Satchel who was excellent at communication and touched base with us for every step of the way. Our house was built in 1902 so there are always unexpected quirks and Satchel and his team helped us work around it all and got us the bathroom we wanted! We worked with Macy who helped design the bathroom and helped us pick the right tile and finishes that really helped upgrade our small bathroom. The crew was professional and timely and did high quality work quickly! We will definitely use A2Z for any future home improvement projects. read more

Awesome experience with A2Z and Jim especially. They removed a old, dark and metal patio cover that collapsed during a storm. Removed the old cracked cement, poured a new beautiful patio and added a wood cover/pergola with clear panels. The bonus was the hot pink port-o-potty and dumpster during the process that gave the construction a fun twist. House is brighter, the patio is safer and there's more room to enjoy. Would highly recommend Jim and his crew. read more

We had a half-finished basement space and wanted to finish out the rest. I talked to a number of contractors, but Brian, our GC from A2Z, immediately secured my confidence as someone who knew what they were doing with insightful questions and helpful ideas about how to optimize the space. That confidence and helpfulness continued throughout the project until completion. In the end, Brian helped me take my initial plans to the next level and create a space that we love. A2Z is a very professional group. While some contractors have everything on the back of an envelope, A2Z has clear contracting, competitive and fair prices, and their payment schedule ensures that you don't pay for work that hasn't been completed. Staff is helpful and communication is quick and absolutely top-notch. They create a WhatsApp group for the project so you, the GC, and any relevant staff are always seamlessly connected. I never had a moment where I felt like I couldn't get an answer or update from Brian or the A2Z staff. Every project has unforeseen speed bumps, but I was impressed by Brian's ability to keep the project moving forward, without sacrificing quality. We couldn't be happier with the overall timeline of the project and the speed at which things moved along. I recommend A2Z very highly and will definitely be reaching out to them for future projects. read more

When we started our renovation, we received a few quotes and decided on a GC to move forward with. Fast forward about a year later and we had to fire the GC; we lost confidence in their ability to do the work due to lack of communication and a scattered process and approach. Not at all what we thought we were signing up with. We went back to square one and found A2Z. They provided everything we were hoping in a major renovation. They know what they're doing, they communicate clearly and frequently, they provide a transparent process and kept us informed along the way. Their in house crew meant that they were confident in the work that was going to be done, and if the PM or I wasn't fully satisfied with anything along the way, it was very easy to get the crew back to make any corrections. Their team is top notch, all pros, and really were a delight to work with. It's true that you get what you pay for, but its worth it. read more

Unfortunately due to a sad situation, I was a victim to contractor fraud. After not knowing who to trust, I took a chance on A2Z Builders and I am so I did. Yuval was assigned as my project manager and did an excellent job. He was in commutation everyday, they started the first phase of my project within weeks, (the new office) I was able to pay as the work got done which alleviated any concern with money fraud. There wasn't any pressure on adding anything more to my project. I was able to pick and choose what I could afford to do on that phase and going forth in each phase thereafter of the project. It is one year later and I'm about to begin the second phase and I'm thrilled to be having A2Z Builders return. I throughly trust them, Yuval was awesome snd I'm so grateful. We choose A2Z builders to do the job, Isaac the project manager did a fantastic job, the workers came every day and he came to make sure everything is going by the plan and the result came out exactly as the 3D design. We can sum up our review of A2Z Builders with one sentence: If you are not using A2Z Builders for your remodel/build you might be making a big mistake. Our project consisted of: * Kitchen remodel and appliances * Two (2) bathrooms remodeled with vanities, fixtures, flooring and paint * Hardwood flooring installed in lower level of house, 4 rooms and stairway to landing and upper levels, including baseboard installation * Fireplace modification and cabinet installation in family room * Painting/Drywall repair in lower level of house * Removal and finish of pony walls living room Our experience with A2Z Builders: * What stood out most was the absence of the typical "Us" versus "Them" dynamic often encountered with contractors. It was a collaborative atmosphere where our Project Manager, Tom shared and understood our vision for the project. Our kitchen designer Michelle also understood the vision and facilitated the kitchen remodel. * Communication with Tom was excellent. We knew each week what was to take place and when. * They showed up. Work was always done as planned and on time. * A few unexpected issues arose, but Tom's solution was always the best solution in resolving the issues. Tom was always concerned with details. * After 30-50 % of the project was complete we had developed a trust with Tom and A2Z Builders. At that point we did not have to question what we were told. * At no point did we feel A2Z was cutting corners to expedite the project or cut costs. * We utilized several of their partners and were pleased with the materials and costs. A2Z Builders exceeded our expectations. Their commitment to client satisfaction set a standard that few contractors can match. Based upon our experience, we would recommend without hesitation A2Z Builders for your home remodel/build. Scott/Kathi J. read more

We used A2Z builders to renovate and update the living room of our house and they did an amazing job. We worked with Yuval to relocate and refinish the gas fireplace, paint the entire interior, replace baseboards and carpet, and more. Yuval did a great job stopping by to ensure projects were going smoothly and that we were happy with the direction and involved with next steps. We spoke on the phone and via text often to stay up to date and voice any concerns or go over anything we had questions about. His team was really skilled and friendly and were fast workers to boot. Instead of an apology, the owner decided to double-down and say my review was fake. So, I guess I'm feeling a bit less sorry about writing my review after all. I'm also not sorry to submit some proof of the communications I had with the project manager and the reminders that we're counting on someone to show up to go over plans. And, finally, I'm not sorry to share what a proper proposal looks like. This is the one I ultimately accepted for the first two phases of work. Once all five phases are done, I can send another update. read more

We worked with Tom Siso on a total kitchen renovation and removal of a load-bearing wall between our living and family rooms. Tom is one of the best project managers we have ever worked with (and we have worked with many). He communicated regularly and always responded immediately to our questions and concerns. Our project was tough for a number of reasons including unforeseen utilities in some walls, terrible weather, and working through Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. Despite bumps in the road, the project stayed on schedule and we got a beautiful remodel. We had a couple of subs that were not the best so we were so glad to have Tom there to find replacements and to handle issues. We are happy with our "new" home. read more

Great response and came out right away. However I had sent over what I needed, along with photos and a mockup blueprint in our messages prior to contact. Upon arrival of their manager, I was informed that they don't take on projects less than $15k. Had they just looked at the information I had sent prior to receiving a quote, they would have known this before coming out here and saving both of our time. The manager was extremely nice and explained everything they would be doing. However, the price point of almost $7,500 for the construction of two walls (8x10/8x12) is just way out of budget for me. read more

My appointment was to be at 10 am. They moved it to 4pm. No big deal. Solomon came out, told me I need to contact another contractor for an insurance claim then asked me if I wanted him to proceed. You see my water line to the refrigerator burst and flooded down to the basement. He then proceeded to measure my basement. According to the county it's 1054 sq ft. I recommend A2Z for anyone who needs a contractor. This company is so great on so many levels. They just completed my kitchen, bathroom, and basement reno and they were great in every step of the process.  We have wanted to renovate for a while now, but was always busy with work and the kids and trying to have a sort of social life. My partner and I always pushed it off because of our schedules and because we were just being lazy. Luckily we thought it over during quarantine and decided to do it.  The hiring process was not as stressful as we thought it was going to be. We made a bunch of calls and did I think somewhere around 6 consultations. A2Z was one of the 6. We both really liked what they had to offer and were very professional. The company, after the consultation, gave us a quote and gave us an outline of the timeline. After choosing them, we started right away. The company was super considerate with complying with our work schedules and during the renovation did not mind our crazy kids.  Before the renovation, our basement was unfinished, and our kitchen and bathrooms were outdated and beginning not to work. Now the basement is finished, and we added a bed and bath down there for the in-laws. Our kitchen and bathrooms are really functional and nice. It's all the style that we like, which I am so glad they were able to do. The company was really great and we recommended to a couple friends. read more
