In August, we had Mr Fix It come to our home to help install an outside door off our kitchen along with a corresponding storm door. Alex was great to work with. He was always punctual, used caution as he went forward with each step and was very well equipped with the tools and knowledge to execute the job. (He's flexible too; I had to push our appointment back a day because the delivery of the patio storage container was delayed.) And, he is a pleasure to work with. Age and infirmity make it difficult for me to do many of the things I could do in the past. So, I am very grateful to Alex for assembling a patio storage container, as well as an 80# patio umbrella stand, and for fixing/leveling the large paving stones on my patio. Also, he helped me get two very heavy bags (sand and stones) to my garage, which is not adjacent to my townhome unit). We came to Mr Fix-It through puls referral company. He came to the house gave us an astronomical quote we backed it down to just one service and have never seen the man again. We paid almost $600 and he took off with our payment cash the check at our bank and we can't get him to give us a refund for services and product not rendered. I would not refer this person and I would not use his services. We've been asking for over 2 weeks for a refund. And there has been absolutely no response. read more
