This time, I needed the fireboxes repainted because the original 20-year old flat-black firebox paint had faded significantly. Jordan arrived soon after I scheduled, was on time, tidy, professional, and friendly. Jordan got the work done quickly and with no mess (this work requires a special high-temperature spray-on black paint designed specifically for high temperature environments like the firebox). Wow, just wow! Jordan was a knowledgeable, creative problem solver who was respectful, communicative and overall pleasant to work with. Our seven year old fire pit had rusted over the years, despite having it covered during the winter months. Jordan was able to replace the unit and provided tips to prevent the situation from repeating in the future. On another note, our remote wasn't pairing with the unit, so he installed a temporary switch so we could have the unit running for a dinner party we were having that evening. I had called to make an appointment for cleaning my gas fireplace and was offered the service for the next day which was great. Jordan called ahead he was on his way and arrived at the appointment time agreed to. He did a great job and after inspection said there may be a problem with the pilot control board later but for now it was ok, just a little slow but if it gets worse they have the board available and would come out and replace it for only the cost of the board and no service charge as long its within a year. I was very satisfied with the friendly, though job that was done and will continue to use this company for any fireplace work. read more

Used these folks twice, unfortunately, should have known better after the first time. Cleaning was very poor, had to redo it myself afterwards. The repair didn't hold up which is why I had to call them a second time months later. Fireplace again stopped working a third time and am now using All Fired Up to service my unit and this is a MUCH better experience and result. read more

Totally botched a cleaning job that supposedly required a new gas valve. During their work they miswired the original valve and tried to sell me a new one for $400. I bought a new valve myself and after consulting with Fireplace Doctors, I ended up with a properly wired brand new valve that was completely unnecessary. Avoid. read more
