He and his company kept us informed of invoices, plans for the following day, when inspections were happening, when he would arrive (and ALWAYS arrived on TIME). They are, in fact, still doing work for a renovation project on our house and I'm confident that the work is and will be phenomenal. This was my first time using a contractor and I am a first time homeowner. Even still, with the horror stories you hear from contractors in Denver, I can assure you that the owner, Stan, will be present each day, Gaby will answer the phone, and combined they will put you at ease. There have been no surprise cost changes, their quote has been accurate so far and will not hesitate to use them again for future projects. Their staff has all been top notch. Do yourself a favor and use them. As an aside, we requested quotes from other companies and while some may seem responsive, they will likely forget about you or think of you as a number. I am back to update my previous review of Steelbridge. As my previous review stated, not only was our project not finished in the time promised, we have had continual issues with workmanship and quality that persist today. Stan had offered to "fix" the work, per his response, but we cannot trust his subcontractors in our home. In our eyes, this was not a viable solve to the problem. Since my last review, we've run into more issues and my husband and I never feel at peace about the work that was done. We feel like we are always waiting for the other shoe to drop and unveil another expensive issue. Most recently, we hired a plumber to change the sediment filter. He discovered that Stan's plumbing subcontractors not only did not properly re-install our whole home water system, but due to the way the plumbing was rerouted to the utility closet, a simple task of replacing a filter was rendered unserviceable without first cutting, rerouting and resoldering pipes. A job that should've been quick and easy therefore became expensive and arduous. Walking downstairs to our expensive finished basement should provide pride and happiness with the new space, but it's a source of tension as we uncover more cut corners and sloppy work each time we use the space. Please, I urge you to hire another company to work on your home. read more

We were not happy with the quality of work or professionalism by Stanley and Gaby.   In my opinion, the delivered product looks poor, the project management was poor, and scheduling work along the way was a nightmare.  We provided feedback early and often, but we felt Stanley's response was arrogant and unprofessional.   Months after firing them, we are still working to repair damage caused by Steel Bridge.  Please contact me directly for full records and pictures - decide for yourself if you really want to deal with these people. read more

I recently hired Steel Bridge in February to perform a quick renovation of both my restrooms. I had had a leak occur and neither was usable; my biggest thing was wanting to pick out some of my own products from Home Depot so as to avoid all the extra parties but also having it complete in early March. Stan and I walked the project and he gave me a bid that included everything. I never got any change orders because he was true to his word when he said the cost was me getting what I wanted. And I got to buy my own materials to boot, without all the extra third party fees! Stan was so obliging and patient throughout the process, telling me what would be needed, how much and getting it all done super quickly. When Stan said something would happen, it happened. The bathrooms themselves look great! I had a few checklist items after project completion and Stan himself came out the next day to make sure they were complete--he didn't leave until making sure I was happy, either. He even helped hang some pictures around the house, which definitely wasn't in the original scope of work! So to Stan, Jim Robb, Dillon and James (and anyone else I've forgotten), thank you a thousand times over for the great work y'all did and for putting up with a picky person like me! To anyone looking to hire a good GC who honors their word, sticks to the schedule and advocates for your needs without any trouble whatsoever: I highly recommend hiring Steel Bridge! read more

If I could give 10 stars I would. This is my first experience working with a contractor and I cannot say enough about how seamless the whole process was. I went into this whole process not knowing much of anything when deciding to build out a commercial space for my business. Stanley was on site almost every day and working closely with his team so everything was being done correctly. He and his crew went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the process and there way things were coming along. A small job, installing a new bathroom light, was handled wonderfully and professionally by Stanley. The old light had fallen off the wall and taken a chunk of drywall with it. I'd assumed that a larger hole would need to be cut, a 2x4 placed to allow for an electrical box (who affixes a light without one?), and new drywall be put up and painted. However, Stanley had a better idea that didn't cause further damage to the wall. In less than an hour, he installed the new light and got everything working again. The work area was protected with plastic, he removed his shoes at the door, and he wore a COVID mask and gloves through the entire process. An excellent experience. We plan to have Steel Bridge Construction come out and convert a built-in kitchen desk to a pantry. No one in today's world needs a static desk in the kitchen to work at, but a kitchen that was built in 2000 that has no pantry is lacking some serious functionality. I had a small project of renovating my laundry room, and the first contractor I requested a quote from completely scared me away from the idea. The changes I wanted did involve moving some electrical outlets.. and building custom doors- so he told me it would be "tricky" and not worth the cost. I felt very discouraged from my project, but after some time I spoke to Stanley and he made me realize my plan wasn't actually so complicated nor beyond my budget. Stan was an excellent communicator, and kept me updated every step of the way! I got exactly what I wanted quickly, and didn't have to talk to 5 different people to get it done. I had a mystery leak in my bathroom that two previous plumbers could not find. Stanley and his team arrived on the scene with their masks on and immediately identified the problem. They swiftly repaired the source of the leak, made the wall behind it brand new, replaced flooring damaged by the leak, and made sure the rest of my home stayed clean. Gaby called throughout the day and checked to see if I was completely satisfied with every step of the process and Stanley was 100% available and/or hands-on with the project. We bought a fixer upper house and hired Stan to do some of the rough work for us. A bedroom had been turned into a bathroom, which we wanted to join with the and closet space to form two bathrooms. I was pretty worried about having to build a load baring wall with no support underneath and running new plumbing through a brick mid-foundation wall, but they weren't. Everything there turned out exactly as I asked for/planned. The house also needed a new electrical service panel and quite a bit of new wiring. Matt and his crew finished this quickly and he even dealt with me throwing a few curve balls at him along the way. Everything was done quickly and for what I thought was a fair price after shopping around for two months. We're doing the bathroom finishing work ourselves, and will post pictures later. But we'll be starting on the next project very soon. read more

I've worked with several different contractors over the years and Stanley is as good as it gets. He went the extra mile to make sure that everything was satisfactory. He was extremely accommodating as I continued to increase the scope of work from just a bathroom remodel to adding new flooring throughout, then retexturing the walls. We had the extreme pleasure of working with them on doing some cosmetic changes and construction projects in Northfield. We hired them to make our new home our forever home. Stanley the owner could be described by many wonderful words, but the first one would have to be integrity. Totally explains the whole process and follows through to what he promises to do. You never need to worry about getting something finished on time or about not receiving a phone call back from Stan. I was tremendously impressed with the quality of service on our wall removal project. They worked FAST and with surgical precision. They had up to three guys working at a time. So many companies now will assign one person the job of three, and it will take too long. These guys were done within a couple hours each day. The office manager, Gaby, was EXCELLENT. Every time I emailed her a question, she IMMEDIATELY responded. She also texted and called if I didn't respond back. The communication throughout the project was OUTSTANDING. We have not worked with mortar or tile projects so we decided to source this project out. We are very impressed, they did a fantastic job. There is not one thing we are disappointed with.
