I ordered from here twice in one weekend. I think their food is super delicious. Their banh mi is probably my favorite out of some of the local places I've tried. They actually put pate in them. They even have a sisig banh mi! I also really like their bun bo hue. It's spicy and very flavorful. However, I do believe they are on the pricer side. But you have to consider that they are a family owned business that was able to open during these trying times. I can't wait to try more of their items, but for now i might clean them out on banh mi. read more

Stockpot - Couldn't wait, already ate half of bahn mi. Soup is Ban bo hue. - Vietnamese Near Me - Vallejo, California

(3) dishes ordered for take-out: 1. Spicy Beef Noodle Soup - meat quality was not great. Broth was so so. Add-in vegetables were fresh and tasty. Overall 2/5. 2. Banh Mi - Disappointing. Meat was VERY tough, dry and lacked flavor. The rest of the sandwich was pretty good, but on the dry side overall. 1/5. 3. Spicy Tamarind Chicken Wings - Excellent! Juicy, flavorful and not overcooked. 4/5 Pick-up service was quick and pleasant but this was takeout and the real experience, the food, was dissatisfied. read more

This restaurant just opened up in Vallejo about a week ago and their menu selection looked so yummy! I believe they're an Asian fusion restaurant offering Cambodian, Vietnamese, Thai, and Filipino dishes. I was in the mood for some Asian Cuisine and so glad I found this place! I placed my takeout order through the phone and the lady that helped me was so nice and friendly and said the order would be ready within 15 mins! When I arrived to the place, the restaurant was very clean and picking up my order was super easy. They were all wearing masks and had sanitizer available! I ordered 3 bun bo hues, crispy pork appetizer and a Thai tea. The bun bo hue was so flavorful and the noodles were the perfect texture. They give you so much meat!!! I think the crispy pork was a little over priced for the amount you get ($8.50 for a handful) and the Thai tea was good! Thai Thai tea was a little watery for my taste (I like mine creamy) but it was still delicious! Would definitely go here again and try their other dishes! read more

What did I order: - 2 Vietnamese Iced Coffees - Beef Banh mi - Shrimp Pho Pros: - Family run business that just opened in Vallejo - Nice selection of various foods - pho, sandwiches, and rice/noodle bowls - Areas are clean, mask required, and hand sanitizer everywhere Cons: - A tad overpriced in comparison with other pho places in Vallejo - No gloves being worn while prepping or making food Overall: - I would go back again but, the Shrimp pho wasn't that flavorful. On the other hand, the beef banh mi was good. The Vietnamese coffee was pretty strong but, I suggest asking for going light on the ice. read more

Just checked out this new Pho spot in the area, and I was blown away. First off, they are serious about the COVID precautions, so I felt so comfortable being in the restaurant. They provide hand sanitizers as you walk in, they have clearly marked social distancing markings in the line, and all the tables are well spread out! All the employees were wearing masks and overall I felt at ease eating here. Now onto the good stuff, the food! So I'm picky about my broth and the quality of meat when I go to get pho. Stockpot checked off both of those requirements and much more. The broth is extremely flavorful and honestly could have a bowl of that alone! They provide really good size cuts of meat and a lot of it. I really liked the meatballs of all the meats! I got the Beef Combo pho, with some shrimp fresh spring rolls and a Thai tea. The spring rolls were light and tasty, and I'm glad because the portion of the pho was very fulfilling. My friend ordered the combo fried rice and in his words, "it's the oh so buttery goodness!" He was happy with the flavor of the rice but more so with the amount of meats in the fried rice, and I could see a ton of Chinese sausage. Mo meat mo betta! Safe to say, count me becoming a regular at this spot! read more

their bahn mi's are my girlfriend and i'd favorite and we get them everytime, affordable and delicious. the spring rolls are my 2nd favorite but only wish there was a tad more shrimp. peanut sauce is so good too. inside is pretty basic, decent amount of space but a little hot. i usually do pickup so it isn't an issue for me personally and i do see people in there eating so it's bearable for a full meal. food is quick and same with service. i wish they were open monday and tuesday food is almost gone in the pictures, couldn't wait to eat read more

This is the first restaurant I've dined in since Covid started. Hand sanitizers available at the entrance and plexy glass covers at the register. Stockpot's staff are very friendly and welcoming. My family and I had ordered: - Thai iced tea - Vietnamese iced coffee - Young coconut juice - Grilled beef bahn mi - Beef pho with tendon, flank and rare steak - Build Bowl - garlic noodles with longanisa and egg with fish sauce on the side. The noodles were soft and coated well with garlic. Longanisa was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. This went well with the pickled carrots and radish. I ordered iced Vietnamese coffee, I thought it was neat that it was brewing in a Phin Kit. Overall, my experience at Stockpot was great, good food, service and company. read more

Review for lemongrass beef bahn mi. It was SO good. I got it without the jalapeños and it was perfect. The meat is flavorful, the veggies are fresh, and the bread was perfectly soft and crunchy. It came out to $11 with tip which isn't too bad for lunch, I was full. Love that you can order online. Service was quick and easy. I will def be back to try more items on the menu. read more

Only reviewing my online/pick up experience. I have never tried their dine in. But overall they are very good at fulfilling my order in the time that I'm supposed to pick it up. Location is very convenient and plenty of private lot parking space read more

Stockpot was recommended by a friend and we've only gone once for a pick up order. We ordered banh mi's - grilled lemon grass beef and the pork sisig - both were fire. I was able to place and order for 10 banh Mis a day before and they were very friendly over the phone and even called to remind of the order the morning of. We will definitely be back to sit down and eat at the restaurant to try more dishes! read more

The food is good, and the service is fast! I was very impressed, and it has become a go to place for dinner on Friday nights!

My first Pho experience is Vallejo and I was very pleased. I have been meaning to try this place for a while and I am happy that I ordered pick up for dinner last Thursday. I ordered Shrimp Pho. I normally ask for extra spouts but I didn't think I would my first time but I will going forward... the nicely packed condiments of basil, lime, jalapeño, and bean sprouts were perfect except there were way too little spouts. I was pleasantly surprised when my broth was piping hot once I arrived at home. I paired my meal with the Hibiscus Lemonade -delicious-which didn't make it home....yum! read more

This is the first review I've done. Wanted to try something different in Vallejo. Portions were very small and expensive for the price. I like to go to a place where after I eat my meal I'm not hungry. I was still hungry after. I ordered bbq beef and it was so dry. I had to smother the sauce to moisten it. It didn't help much. Maybe their bahn mi sandwiches are better but I'm not coming back to try. read more

The fact that this big restaurant was empty scared me! But to my surprise it was yummy! Its deep in the V so it was a mission from my house to get here but it was worth the drive. We've been wanting to try this place and finally came. So far, I liked what I've had. Cambodian Noodle soup was flavorful, Claypot Rice was good, but pork belly was chewy, needs to be more crispy. We had the spring roll appetizer, it's good but I've had better ones elsewhere. The service was great. Friendly staff. Place was clean. Overall, a good place. I want to try other items on the menu next time read more

We arrived at 7:30pm. They asked, "is this for dining or to go?" We said dining. They then asked, "are you going to be finished eating by 8." I asked, "are you saying that you will put us out at 8?" She said "yes, we have to lock the door and go home." I chose not to eat there because I have never had a restaurant say or behave that way. My experience at restaurants, has been, if you are dining in, they allow you to enjoy your meal. This is the first time I have ever experience anything like this. read more

Don't judge a book by its cover. The outside of the restaurant was not very eye catching nor was the restaurant signage, but I read positive reviews on Yelp and decided to give it a try. I was surprised and pleased at how fresh and delicious the food was. Quality was high and the flavors were authentic Southeast Asian. The place was clean and the staff was exceptionally nice and efficient which made our overall experience pleasing. Lots of menu choices that we'll need to check out next time! read more

Great food that I look forward to regularly eating. I've been here a few times and it's been consistentl.

This restaurant's bahn mi sandwiches are my go-to for lunch sometimes. Always great! Beef is my favorite.

This place should be packed! No complaints only praise. The fried rice was so refreshing. Pad Thai so flavorful! The spring rolls didn't have that old oily taste and were perfect. Beef skewer - so good. Right amount of salty-lightly sweet. Oh and the Thai iced teas were deeelicous. There's a lot of places we say we'll go back to but never do. There's much more to try in different combinations and I can't wait to come back. read more

We were craving Bahn Mi and saw this place open on yelp! Haven't been here before and always passed by it driving so we decided to stop and try it. Ordered a BBQ pork bahn mi and a create you own bowl: rice and grilled shrimp. The bahn mi was quite delicious and and the bread was soft! Flavors of the meat mixed with the pickled carrots/daikon mixed well. As for the rice plate, I was a little disappointed. It was a good amount of rice but I think the portion size was bigger than the main dish itself. It came with 6 very small shrimp and I think there could have been more flavor. Maybe the shrimp could be bigger or maybe the number of shrimp could increase? I'm giving it 3 stars based on what I ordered but I have yet to taste the soups and noodles. I will definitely be coming back! read more

Oh man compliments to the chef and the staff! I'm not that active on Yelp, and most people use it to tell everybody what they DID NOT like about the place, so I have to come and share everything I loved about this place . First off, we were greeted as soon as we walked with a "Hello! Good morning welcome In!" Which I appreciate it . Really clean, spacious and modern. Order up front and pay first type of deal, but still excellent service as if you had actual waiters . We only ordered chicken pho, two orders to share with my two kids and their mother. There's only one size option and it's basically a large, plenty to share.... but after tasting the soup without adding anything, I had to order another ! So much flavor, makes the other pho places around seem watered down. Super good, and I feel funny hyping up pho like this lol, but it's that good. For sure coming back and trying other menu items, this is our official go to pho spot . When we left everybody said bye and wished us a great rest of our day . Salute! Support this place you won't be disappointed. Sorry no pic of the pho we dove right in Pull up ! read more

Ordered takeaway from Stockpot a couple of months ago when I had dinner at my house with my parents and in-laws. I'm always on the lookout for restaurants that have menus that are wide enough for different dietary needs, as my in-laws don't eat meat/dairy and my parents are a little on the picky side. Stockpot was a hit for us. I got the sisig banh mi which was delicious. There are a couple of other Vietnamese places near me that are great but neither do banh mi, so I'm glad to have Stockpot here! read more

Well I saw some decent reviews of the food here at stockpot and I thought I would check it out,and glad we did. My partner and I decided to dine in so we drove over and parked in the lot. No cars in the lot and it was looking a bit overrun with weeds and debris. But things are different now -so ventured in. The young man was friendly and offered some options for ordering and we just ordered at the counter and then he delivered the food to our table. I had ordered the Phô and my friend ordered a noodle dish. The presentation was nice with the large metal bowls, and the separate plates for bean sprouts and basil with jalapeño slices. Very fresh and delicious. I also enjoyed the ice water with the lemon slices inside the small glass water dispenser. We did eat all of the food it was good and I dod not finish that "meatball" because it was a link sausage cut up into little ball size. Taste like sausage. But anyway it was good and I come back. read more
