Visit Date: February 11, 2023 I came here with friends to see Rubix Kube. The band was amazing. If you pay extra for standing in the GA section that's downstairs, it might be kind of a VIP area and you move towards the front you might have a hard time seeing the stage. Non alcoholic drinks are a little overpriced. They also don't serve food. I'm glad my friends and I had to get tickets because the only other way I can support an establishment if I don't drink is by sometimes getting food to pad the bill a little more. I was really nervous based on the terrible reviews people left for this place but I went to see two cover bands this weekend and the whole experience was really awesome! The place must have been recently renovated and it looks great. There were two bars from what I could see. It was tough to catch the bartenders eye and get a drink but what do you expect - it was pretty busy. The drink prices weren't bad - I had bud lite in a bottle which was $9. The Women's bathrooms were pretty nice - there were over 20 stalls and they were fairly clean with toilet paper. Lots of sinks and mirrors to check your makeup. There was no food that I could see for sale except some meatballs in some kind of cart - not too interesting but I guess if you are drunk and hungry it will do. The bands were awesome! There was a warm up band on when we got there around 7:30, then the first band came on after 8, and the main band finished around 11:40 - we hit the road before the end of the last song to beat the crowd. Warning - the place was totally packed with dudes. Maybe it was because of the rock bands, but definitely more men than women. Probably a great place to meet someone new - the crowd was definitely older, I'd say 40 plus. Plus the crowd was nice - everyone having fun and no idiots - everyone behaving and enjoying themselves. First time here at the Soundgarden and this place is awesome. I didn't realize its the old emporium. We came here for WBAB's contractors appreciation party. It was a closed door event so it was a different experience than a regular night because it was sponsored by WBAB they had give always and drink specials. Cool new revamped space. For St. Patrick's Day 2019 attended the Corned Beef & Chaos hosted by WBAB 102.3 Long Islands Rock Station. 19th year and holy cow! From a block & 1/2 wait to get in- a mob show. Offered coat check. (Cool) only one bar and despite many bartenders, they couldn't keep up with the demand and bar was at least 4-5 deep before even being acknowledged. Bathroom- men's room, no line whatsoever. Woman's- was 3 wide and went from restroom to top of stairs leading to dance floor- absolutely insane. And atrocious. Noticed an attendant in there however not sure what her job was? No toilet paper in stalls, floor was a disgusting mess (wet, garbage...) And I'm sure the Fire Marshall would have had a hey day inside. Way. Too. Packed. As in you couldn't move at all. Was pushed and bumped like a pinball and of course, getting sloshed on by the full cups of beer that everyone walked around with. Miller Lite were $1 so you saw folks grabbing 3-4 at a time to spare themselves having to wait. All in all- great venue for live shows. O El Amor killed it as the entertainment and the Boys of WBAB hold a soft spot in my heart. read more

WOW! This place has everything you want in a venue plus more. Between the stage and dance floor, to the full kitchen and bar with an outdoor beer garden, where could you go wrong?! The gourmet style menu is also very inviting, having every item in song titles. The atmosphere is warm and friendly and a great place to grab a drink and a bite to eat. The bartenders made GREAT STRONG drinks so it is well worth the money. I hear they have an awesome list of artist coming in the next few moths. The food tasty.. I recommend the Funky Chicken salad it's so good! Juicy chicken, flavorful dressing. Giving this place a solid three stars because it wasn't the worst evening to be had. We bought the $35 tickets for A Boogie. Entry went smoothly, we weren't bothered at the door and the bouncers were actually very friendly. Pro Tip: if you're buying tickets for this venue, stick to Ticketmaster. The girls in front of us were denied entry because they used a third party ticket issuer- SeatGeek, and the tickets ended up being invalid. It's true, A Boogie did only perform for about 7 minutes, which I've seen some people complaining about, but in my experience, cheap tickets plus a semi insignificant venue means you can't expect much in the performance department. My reason for the three stars, as well as my main issue with this place period, is the bartenders, specifically the females at the main bar. About halfway through the night we moved from the downstairs bar to the main one. I ordered a vodka soda and handed the girl my credit card, to which she said "sorry, there's a 20$ minimum." I asked her when that went into affect, as I had just used my card for another transaction under $20 at the downstairs bar. She looked at me rudely and said "since always." In my experience, management informs employees of how things operate. There isn't a question looming in the air of how much the credit card minimum is. I believe this girl took me at face value and decided she could get one over on me, just because other patrons were charging 5+ drinks at a time. I get it, but with drink prices at $16+ it's a little ridiculous to impose a fake minimum. Other than that, the venue is fine. Female restroom was disgusting but that is to be expected. Lots of young girls stumbling around and bumping people. Others looked like were about to throw up. Place was very nice , my 1st time here so it was a pleasant surprise , the space is great and 3 bars is useful when out at an event where most drink , the bathrooms were kind of awful for such a nice place , out of service , gross , no one cleaned and no toilet paper , makes no sense. My other complaint was the bartender took an extra 5 bucks for the 2 drinks ordered , was told one price and given the wrong change and I don't think it was by accident , I was a bit annoyed .. This place is a hidden gem! It is a huge and amazing lay out. Huge dining area with a bar. And another room with the stage and another huge bar. Beautiful seating. Live music when there isn't a band. Their lobster Mac and cheese was amazing. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. It's only been open a few months so it wasn't busy. But if I lived in Patchogue I would live at this venue and bring all of my friends. The bathrooms are huge and clean with black and white tiled walls. The overall design is just beautiful. If this place had the right marketing and social media presence, it will be a major hit spot. read more

I was so excited to go see Pauly D. But the bartender with the pink hair ruined the whole experience. She was rude and helped everyone else before me. I dot recommend this place. Any other bar in the place took a long time to get a drink - understaffed - but the girl with the pink hair, unbelievably unprofessional, the worst. This place guaranteed will be closed within a year. First of all there is no parking and thats a fact jack. Next the new owners put way too much into this place and its ALWAYS empty and cold feeling. The staff is rude and angry and when there is a show the promoter gets the gate (im in the biz) and Stereo Garden only gets the bar, which is good on a show night but the rest of the week the place makes nothing. The town is constantly after this place. Little smaller venues within walking distance blow the doors off this joint. Bankruptcy is DEFINITELY on the horizon. I went to see aboogie tonight got there at the start time of 10:00 security guards then proceeded to tell my group "don't you have something better to do he doesn't even perform till 1:30" so we went out to eat got back at 10:30pm there was not line then we waited inside for 3 hours with the same stupid songs playing over and over till 2:00Am!!!! Me wife and me came for the New Years celebratory night. Could not get warm inside it was so cold me wife neded dos jackets. Went to drink area for drink and all cups dirty with stain. Door fees are insanely overpriced.I went there for NYE for 125$ and didnt know i had to bring a blanket and hand warmers inside the place. The cheap owners didnt believe in heat felt like i was in a morgue. Everyone was complaining how cold it was inside. At least the drinks were good and bartenders were great. The bar next to the dance floor was closed even on NYE !! Just shows how the owners/managers have no idea now to run a place. Great idea making guests walk across the place and upstairs to get a drink and then spill half of it on the walk back to the dance floor. I stopped getting drinks since it was a hastle. Great way to deter guests from purchasing drinks after midnight. Dont recommend this place, but at least the bar staff were great. read more

They always have well known performers here but the events are horribly run. They will sell you a ticket to an open bar event that starts at 9:00 but won't open the doors until 10:00, once the doors are open they let two people in every few minutes so that by the time you get in, the open bar has ended and you wasted your money on a ticket they sold you. They had a crowd of people sitting out in the pouring rain and refused to let in all the customers that had already paid to be there. The place is nice on the inside but they clearly don't have a care for the customers and will do anything to scam you out of your money. read more

This place isn't so bad but the staff is horendous, we went for a nice night out and spent over $400 for vip only to have others come to our table and steal our liquor and when we complained they said that the reason for vip was so that we can just stay in that area. That was such a disappointing answer, I guess we were expected to not use the bathroom or smoke outside. Also the bouncers think they can treat people like they are nothing. They're too rough escpecially to females. It's almost like they get a rush out of being abusive to women. 4 friends and I came to Stereo Gardens to see a show, and after only 5 minutes inside we were willing to throw our money away and leave. The staff is clueless, the "dress code" was a joke, and the venue was falling apart. They enforce a dress code that requires you to check your jacket, even if that jackets a hoodie- just so they can charge you. But they didn't hold everyone to that dress code , so I'm under the impression if you get there mate they probably won't enforce it. Most of the stalls in the ladies room didn't lock, and were clogged. Lastly when we had asked to speak to manager upon arrival the crew members acted like they didn't have or know their manager. It's a shame that although they have great talent at this venue, we will not be returning. When people pay for an experience part of being in the hospitality/ event industry is to ensure they enjoy that experience. Oh and make sure your team knows the manager on site. read more

The management behind the bar is completely rude. It was completely inexcusable how the oriental woman who " was the manger " was talking and treating the customers. I went to see Pauly D last night and I ordered a drink with one of the bartenders who was going to make my drink waiting on my friend to place her order and the "manager" would not let her serve us then had the audacity to have us kicked out. I have one drink the whole night because I was waiting up close for Pauly D to come out. My friend and I did nothing wrong to have been treated that way. It's embarrassing they would have such a rude staff member. People pay a lot of money to go out and enjoy their time and to see Pauly D and to be kicked out for no reason, it's a joke. I will never go back and I know my friends I was with a group of 15 people they will not be returning either. We will spread the word on how this disgusting behavior was.
