Stopped into Steph's place on a Sunday morning...just a few tables occupied but opted for the bar. First impression was the restaurant was bright and clean - that's a big plus. Saw the special board and opted for the ham and cheese omelette. It is served with home fries and a side of toast. The ham appeared to be cut off a roast, good flavor. The home fries were sliced small potatoes instead of chunks but were fully cooked and had the skin on. Service was good - attentive and quick to fill the coffee. Definitely worth stopping in if your in the area or passing through. read more

Don't mind the "For Sale" sign this place is open! A local staple for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. This is a good ole dinner. Service is like being cared for by family like your grandma. She wants to make sure you are taken care of and not left hungry. Down to earth and good food. read more

Give this place a round of applause for taking all the breakfast classics, executing it well, and having the cheapest prices I've ever seen (I'm a city girl, so it blows my mind that there is nothing on the menu above $10). Steph's Place did a good job with social distancing, enforcing mask wearing, and being transparent about their efforts to do right by the health of their clients. If I'm ever back in the Oswego area, I'll be coming to Steph's again :) read more

Was on the way home from an outdoor adventure and stopped by this really cute diner. The food was amazing, I got the chicken caesar wrap and it seriously is the best one I've ever had. Food came super fast and server was even faster. I will 100% be coming back whenever i'm in the area. read more

I come often to visit w my mom & she is always saying "Stephs place" this morning we finally did it it held up to the local hype & more... I loved not only all the food we ordered, but the place, the staff plus owner were fabulous. Everything for this out of towner "City" girl was fantastic... Omg, wish I took a picture. Went by myself and hoping for some good food and I received even better! I got a bacon cheeseburger (huge!!) with fries sooo good crinkle cut. Burger was so big I had to take it home! 10/10 would recommend and will be going again. The prices were great to! They are so friendly to!! I had such a great time there loved how comfortable the chairs were and the vibes it gave off! Home town diner , can't beat it! read more

Great little place for breakfast. The owner Steph is a hard working woman, handling everything from greetings at the door to returning to the customers seated to make sure all is right. Great menu with generous portions hot off the grill. I had excellent french toast and my companion had a terrific breakfast sandwich. Reasonably priced and service with a smile. Stopped in for dinner on and decided on the special. The food was excellent as was the vegetable beef soup. The special was scalloped potatoes and ham. What must have been special about it was they grew the potatoes while you waited. It was the special! How long should it take to put it on your plate? 25 minutes from order until served. TOO LONG. The server smiled and was apologetic which helped. But that is a long wait. read more

My parents live in Little America, and my friends and I visit once a year. We always stop at Steph's during our stay. The breakfast is great, and we are pretty picky hailing from the diner capital of the world. Also, the staff is super sweet! read more

We've eaten there twice in the last week. The food comes out of the kitchen a little slow, but it is excellent. We had the meat lovers or let and had them add onions and peppers. They had no problem accommodating that request. They were huge. The service as very attentive. My coffee was never empty. Prices are more than reasonable. A great local. read more

Three people cost less than 30$ for a pretty good breakfast. The portions were decent and the food was good. Wasn't the best in the world, nothing that will knock your socks off but certainly the food was good. I had the stuffed French toast and was definitely pleased with my meal. There is a 7% charge for using credit cards at this place and the ATM inside cost $2.75 for withdrawal. Staff was courteous, coffee was refilled very promptly and the food came out rather quickly. All in all I'd go back but maybe check out some surrounding places. read more
