Small diner BIG food Got some sausage gravy and biscuits which was 13.99 the plate was almost twice the size of my head and LOADED. Gd get the lemon blueberry waffle special. When the food came we immediately knew we needed boxes as the portions are MASSIVE. Flavor also MASSIVE, felt like I was eating biscuits and gravy back in WV. We both got two eggs over medium with hash browns (something not so easy to find in Boston) and I got mine with ham steak which we split. All very good, homemade white bread and marble rye toast were good and nice service. Lots of pie choices which I was sad not to have room to try. Plus the giant single pancake had the proper look. This country diner was just right for a basic breakfast for two. We went to breakfast on a Friday, around 10am, and the place was busy, but we got a table right away. Service was excellent - especially the waitress bussing tables and filling coffee cups. We both had eggs, toast from homemade bread, and eggs. All we're just right. The corned beef hash I had was from a can, but had some additions and was crisped up just right. . Prices are low for the quantity and quality you get here. . Diner motif. Always looking to try new places and this was a gem. Sundays they have homemade sausage gravy and it did not disappoint! Large pieces of sausage in flavorful gravy with homemade biscuits and home fries. The Brooks omelette was delicious with hash browns cooked in it. The place was packed but we only had to wait about 10 minutes for a table (I would have waited much longer for this meal again if I have too). The place is so clean and the team is so friendly it runs like a well oiled machine with everyone working together. We will be back! read more

I've had meals there a few times, and it's always worth the trip! I live about 30 miles from it, and I've never had anything but a great meal! Their homemade bread thats used for toast on their breakfast platters is amazing! My mom used to make homemade bread just like it so there's also a bit of a nostalgic feeling. The food portions are also very much worth the cost of your meal, so I always tip heavily. I need to bring my wife along since she's never been, but I always get a to-go order for her, and she is very much a fan of the food! read more

The frittata is my go to and there's always enough left over to take home and have an entire second meal. We love this place! Had to do some shopping in Clay so we opted to go a bit early and have breakfast a short distance down 481 at Maryann's. Food and service are consistently good. We arrived on Sunday about 9:30-10 and although there were a number of cars in the lot we were seated right away. Food delivers quick and hot as ordered very quickly here so turnaround is speedy and wait is never long. We both got the number 4 which is two eggs however you want them, choice of bacon, ham, or sausage links patties or Italian, home fries or hash browns, choice of toast, and two slices of French toast. I went over medium, hash browns, Italian (it's homemade) toast, and bacon. My son had the eggs same way, bacon, and home fries. We also had a side of corned beef hash which is perfectly crisped on the edges. We both had juice which is served in full size glasses not mini juice glass. No we definitely did not finish our meals and always take some home. Warm and friendly atmosphere you feel like you are dining in a home. Christmas decor tasteful and not overdone. Went to beaver lake today and this was not far from there. The interior is typical diner and old style. We were seated quickly for a Saturday morning. Large menu of breakfast and lunch. The prices are very reasonable. My sister got the French toast and bacon. I got the eggs, hash and toast. The hash was pretty tasteless. The eggs were fine but the homemade raisin toast was very heavy and not appealing. The service was excellent and they have the approach that all waitresses take care of all tables, we had 3 different waitresses. The owner was one of them and she was really nice. The bathroom was a turn off with the decor and the toilet that would not flush. read more

We wanted a fish fry Friday night to eat at home. Called Maryann's, ordered two. One with a baked potato and Cole slaw, one with mashed potatoes (and real gravy!!!) and apple sauce. Picked them up 15 minutes later. Home in 10 minutes, and the fish was still hot, no reheating needed. Portion size is generous, the crust was golden and crispy. Just a great place to get good food. The famous biscuits and sausage gravy was all that it promised! All portions were very generous and quick to the table. All the staff worked together for coffee refills and policing dirty dishes. We were from out of town looking for a nice place to have breakfast googled and Mary Ann's country time restaurant came up decided to try it out and boy. I'm glad we did. The food was great. The atmosphere was like eating in your grandma's kitchen and the service was very fast. The place was very busy but did not have to wait no more than 5 to 7 minutes for a table and the staff was great on keeping your coffee cups filled whenever we're in the area we will be back. read more

This is got to be one of the cutest little restaurants I've ever been in. They probably don't have no more than about 20 tables but it don't seem crowded. I ordered the seafood platter which consisted of scallops, Haddock, clams, shrimp, and two sides. Got a bowl of homemade clam chowder soup the stuff was good. The cost of this was $18.90. The waitress was Becky really a great waitress who's smile really felt genuine. Really wanted to be helpful. I'll be up here for the next two or three weeks so I will definitely go back. read more

This place is legit! Totally would not have found it without the Yelp reviews. This is a great spot if you are in Baldwinsville or any town near Phoenix. It's a small town, step back in time kind of place but the servers are friendly. The food is so good. I've gone twice now & can't get enough of their Fretta & their homemade toast. Portions are large & in charge so order a half or split a meal. I look forward to returning for many more breakfasts and then trying their lunch as well. Ate here for breakfast with a few friends on aSaturday morning. We had to wait to sit down for about 15 minutes. Service was very good. I ordered the Lauren's omelette which had mushrooms, onions, hash browns, broccoli and cheese. It was huge. The omelette was very good. All my friends enjoyed their meal. Maryann's Countrytime is my sisters' favorite place. It's the diner my sisters take me with their husbands and kids after church. So I've been here multiple occasions, usually a different sister each time. I've gone here years before, and I will continue to do so. We don't go here all the time, but I remember when I was younger, my family and I would come here after church, and we would sit around two tables in front of the window, or in the back and enjoy pancakes the size of dinner plates, omelettes filled with hash browns and golden cheddar cheese, and homemade buttered bread. This place truly hits the spot and I am writing this with a happy stomach full of the grandpa omelette: hash-browns, sausage, cheddar, onion; their hearty homemade white bread, and a double side of bacon (six slices total). I split this with my niece (16) and the omelette, just like Maryann's pancakes, is enough to serve two. Actually, it's so much that I can't think about eating for at least another five hours (ok, a BIT of an exaggeration, especially if there's ice cream involved) And it was under $10! Now for the ambience. The cafe is small, sometimes I wonder if my family will fit in it. But Maryann's always provides. The waiters and food are efficient and there's not much to complain about. You pay at the cash register before leaving. Note there's a $10 minimal amount for credit card transactions. There's also cookies and cakes to munch on for a sweet treat--if you have any room left! The only complaint I would possibly have is that the waiters were slightly annoying. I was trying to finish my toast, but I was so stuffed, I couldn't just inhale it; though I was determined to finish. But the waitresses kept coming by and asking to take my plate or if I had finished yet. Sometimes, I just like to eat my food in peace and not have someone probing at me every time they pass. I totally don't mean to sound like a snobby, ungrateful customer either. Because I get that some people want service like that. I just thought I would mention it, however. Maryann's is a diner I thought about a lot while studying abroad. It's so American, it fills me with pride. What a comforting place, filled with memories of hot chocolate in those thick white mugs (the kind of hot chocolate that comes in a powder and you mix with water) finished with canned whipped cream.
