Cinnamon pancakes the size of a platter.

I came up from Florida to beat the heat and my brother took me to Wades. WOW!!! I travel the world and Wade's is my favorite breakfast place HANDS DOWN. I was skeptical ordering my favorite - Eggs Benedict - bit the chefs said not to worry AND WERE THEY EVER RIGHT!! Just delicious. And what a varied menu. I can't say enough good things about this place. We sat at the bar and watched the cooks so their thing so we escaped the long line of people on a Tuesday morning waiting for a table ... but even if I had to wait, it would have been well worth it. As an aside ... I'm stopping in on my way back to SYR airport to bring home a couple loaves of their cinnamon bread.

BEC on a English muffin looked awesome along with the bacon and cheese omelette that I grabbed a taste of was awesome too... but the Cinnamon Bun pancake was to die for !!!! .... Don't miss this one !! PS .... The ATM is in the entryway

    Stuffed Raisin Bread French Toast

Cozy, crowded and comforting, what more could you look for in a diner? I had the raisin bread French toast on the recommendation of a fellow Yelper. I took it a step further though and had the stuffed raisin bread french toast. It was everything a diner breakfast should be, sweet, savory, warm, soft, crunchy. In a word, delicious. I choose ham as my meat and it was rolled into the French toast along with the eggs. Boy, it hit the spot! My husband had the eggs, corned beef hash and home fries. He definitely enjoyed his meal. My son got Eggs Benedict. It's normally one of my favorite breakfast meals. The eggs were done just right and although I'm sure the hollandaise sauce was a mix it was still very good. The coffee was not my favorite but typical diner coffee, average. The service was so friendly. They apologized for the wait but I understood. It's a small busy place. All this for a fair price. I'd come back if in the area.

The. Food is too greasy and not as good as it was years ago it is more of a nostalgic for Oswego residents.

Fresh ingredients, delightful flavors, a curated menu and freshly made deserts! We have frequented this restaurant each time we are in town and truly. It never disappoints. From the appetizers to the main courses to the cocktails- Red Sun delivers. On our most recent outing I had the Pig and Swig pizza- fire roasted with pork sausage, broccoli, red onions, red pepper and mozzarella this was absolutely delicious! We shared the fire roasted wings too which were amazing! I had a cocktail- which sadly I cannot remember the name of but I do know that it has my favorite gin- Empress. Red Sun is one of the very few restaurants in Oswego to carry this delightful brand- and it makes me super happy! Laurie the owner, has been in business for quite a while in Oswego and also owns the delightful Port City Cafe right next door as well as the new and exciting Lorbird in Fulton- another amazing experience. We were so fortunate to meet and spend time chatting with her and let me say- this lady knows her stuff. Most inspiring is that she knows her customers and their tastes and she knows how to be successful! Red Sun is an absolute must when visiting Oswego- you won't be disappointed! It's an elevated experience that I truly hope will inspire other establishments to rise to!

Classic Upstate Italian. Family has been going there for years - super nice people:)…read more I think the business has made it to the next generation, and while they have simplified the menu, they have also lost a bit of attention to detail. Positives: Wedding soup is perfect! Salad with Italian & crumbly blue is excellent. Great steak and pasta choices Great bar & wine choices. Slight critiques: The bar is too high, basically difficult to eat at - plus it's not very attractive. Gone are the days of complimentary white garlic pizza at the bar:( The Sunday Vona's sauce is good, but something seems to have changed? Maybe a tad too much sugar? Not sure. The chicken Marsala came out in chunks, not pounded as it should be. A classic dish like this should not be reduced a "chicken riggy" (if you don't know what that is your not missing much in the culinary tradition of upstate NY) I understand veal is expensive and requires more culinary expertise - sad to see it go. Overall great place! But the lack of culinary detail to the classic Italian recipes that made this place great means that a 4 star review is generous - meaning I hope they improve because we love Vona's. Improvement could be as simple as staying true to original recipes or even finding better Italian recipes.

Added the eggplant a top of it. I thought they used it as a sponge to wipe up all the oil. There's so much sauce you could take a bath in it not a traditional Italian place which means I don't have any of those classics, but I wouldn't come back to this place.
