Used to love this place, but a couple of years ago I had ordered pizza and wings for take out, and when I got there to pickup my order I had to wait on the wings. They took them from the fryer and dumped the basket straight into the styrofoam clamshell container, then poured hot sauce from a large mixing bowl over top of them, closed the clamshell and then shook it, then let the sauce drain out of the clamshell back into the big mixing bowl! Not only was I grossed out by their messy and unconventional method of making the wings, but when I got home I saw that the styrofoam had melted from the hot oil from the fryer basket, since they didn't let them drain off or toss them in sauce before putting into the container. Driving in from out of town looking for a sub shop I find Paulanjo's Pizza on Yelp. I call ahead and ask for a take out order of the following: -large ham & cheese sub w/ lettuce, tomato, mayo (doubly meat and cheese) -large turkey & cheese sub w/ lettuce, tomato, mayo (double meat & cheese) -large Italian mix w/ lettuce, tomato, onion, banana peppers and Italian dressing (normal amount of meat and cheese). I was delighted at what I found. Freshly baked bread, extremely fresh tomatoes (but it's is Labor Day weekend so it is the peak of freshness). The sub we didn't ask for extra meat still had a fair amount of meat. I have no idea how the pizza is but I would order bread/rolls/or subs again in the future. Everything was very good- even the bit we had as leftovers the next day. Covid comments- employee put on face shield as soon as I walked in. Didn't have mask on too but was behind a plexiglass shield. Not crowded inside. Easy to keep distance. read more

They'll tell you delivery is 45 minutes, but you'll get your order 2 hours later, mildly warm, not thin crust like you asked and no blue cheese and celery like you ordered. Good service makes such a huge difference! Super friendly awesome people! This is a great pizza shop. The pie was amazing and we cashed in on the daily special and got the cheesy bread with dipping sauce which I will be craving again soon. Too bad we live so far way! They have a comfortable dinning area, everything is clean and the bathroom is large and clean as well. A solid stop for a quick dinner while we were traveling. Terrible food, prices are sky high! I don't know how this restaurant is in business. Last time we tried this place I purchased two steak subs. The menu says they are shaved Rib Eye. One of those "never again" places. Order and eat in joints with zero atmosphere and ridiculous prices for terrible food.

The only reason there is 1 star is because I couldn't rate a 0. My $8 antipasto salad came in a 4 sq inch box. Asked for extra chicken, paid for extra chicken, did not receive extra chicken. Called to complain and was hung up on by the manager. And now my calls are being ignored. Awful service, good quality poor. Will never waste $30 on two salads again. And will certainly pass my thoughts on. read more
