The outdoor area is beautiful and honestly didn't feel like we were in Syracuse at all. It was such a nice atmosphere for dinner. The carrot salad was excellent. I honestly never knew carrots could taste so good, my boyfriend asked if it was technically healthy! The olive oil and vinegar dressing was so good, and the spices were incredible. That was probably my favorite part of the meal. I had the Hungarian placki, which was fried potatoes topped with a beef and tomato sauce. It was excellent, although I think it could have used just a little more flavor. My boyfriend had the bacon and potato pierogies, which were excellent as well. I'm not a huge pierogi fan and they very good. We also tried the blueberry pierogies for dessert. They weren't overly sweet, which I actually liked. They were a nice balance after a heavier meal. The staff were all very friendly and inviting and quick service. Overall, everything was really good and we're glad we tried Eva's! I would love to come back!

We enjoyed the cabbage rolls and pierogi for the table and each got our own entrees. I personally loved the placki and will be coming back every time I'm in town. It was pretty busy at peak dinner time but we still got a table inside. The patio was pretty big too and an enjoyable space. The dessert was also phenomenal!! Highly recommend coming here if you want authentic Polish food.

This Polish store/ small restaurant has been one of my go too stands, at Cheektowaga Polish…read morefestival the last few years. This past Saturday, stopped in to check it out. The restaurant market won for best decorated stand, at the festival . The restarant is located upstairs, and the market / deli is downstairs, in a converted old house. Loved the atmosphere, service was wonderful. On a side note, if you pay cash, it's cheaper. My purchases were the polish juice and one of the candy bars.

I honestly wasn't sure what I was getting myself into when she told me that she had ordered us squirt guns and that the girls were supposed to spray they boys and a supposed to get the girls with pussy willows. Sadly, the squirt guns did not arrive from Amazon before we left the house for the event bc no one else had squirt gums when we're got there a little after 5:00pm, I did however see some people with pussy willows. The set and flow to order and pick up food went very smoothly. My friend got a platter and I opted for 6 pirogies and a side of kielbasa and a ticket for water or soda. If they had listed the beer/wine options in the tent where we purchased the food tickets, I may have spent the money on an alcoholic drink. I did like that they had the schedule posted and for the most part they stuck to it. There was a decent amount of people there but it didn't feel too crowded. We got our food and sat at a high top table right on the front porch which allowed for conversation while still people watching. The food was really good, probably the best pirogies I e ever had to be honest! We listened to a few songs from the band but the pirogi eating contest was quite the sight! I do wish that the women running/coordinating the contest didn't use a microphone. I think it would have been a bit more polished if they were able to announce the rules and then learn about each of the participants and then announce, honor and present the prizes to the winners. I had a prime view and captured a number of photos of the pirogi eating contest.
