We just finished lunch @ Tater Town. We went with a family member who had eaten there before and was eager to have us experience it. And if that wasn't enough, two diners who had just finished their lunch couldn't help themselves from stopping on the way out to tell us how much they loved their meals. We were greeted at the door and seated, within 2 minutes our waitress Lauren was at our table asking us if we had ever dined her before and explaining the menu to us. She was incredibly patient,helpful and knowledgeable especially when asked about gluten free options. Lauren walked us through the menu and many questions we had in general about this year old idea for a tater themed restaurant. Two of the three of us chose a Flight, that consisted of three 8 ounce potatoes with a choice of different toppings. I chose a pulled pork and Mac, a chili and Mac & a buffalo chicken and Mac. My wife chose a pulled pork and Mac, a veggie and a chili all gluten free. Greg went with a single 20 ounce potato and pulled pork and Mac. Everyone was very happy with their choices. And if that wasn't enough it was, we all had dessert. My two lunch companions chose ice cream, I went with a blueberry, strawberry, rhubarb crumble with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. We stopped in for Valentine's dinner with another couple. They had the restaurant with lowered lights, candle light, and a fancy prefixed menu for Valentine's day for couples. They let me do the special as a single person, so that was nice. But it came with a delicious mocktail, loaded potato soup, Caesar salad, steakhouse loaded baked potato with shrimp, and a piece of house made raspberry cheesecake. The steak was tender and cooked to medium as wanted. The cheesecake was super good. The loaded potato soup was the highlight! It was so good. The food was average at its best. Tasted like a frozen meal from home while charging higher than normal prices. It was clearly frozen and reheated. Some parts of the potato were hot some still frozen. The staff was judgmental and the female owner very rude and condescending. Purchased shirts sizes were not true to USA size so clearly cheaply made and the decals peeled almost immediately. It may look cute but your money is better spent elsewhere. read more

This is for those of you who love potatoes. Everything is on a potato except for the salad. My husband had the salad and it was good. I had the chicken and broccoli Alfredo on a potato . It was huge and very delicious. Would highly recommend if you love baked potatoes. read more

It's so refreshing to find a breakfast spot that isn't typical diner food. The menu is unique, everything is served on a potato. The servings are big and it's all delicious. I stopped here a few times for take out only, I thought the place had class but low and behold, the owner is not very nice under the covers. I know someone who worked there busting her butt doing work that other's wouldn't do just to hear the owner talking about her behind her hack with multiple people relaying messages to said worker that the owner was talking bad about her and putting her down. This being said I immediately did not like the atmosphere of this place and will never spend a penny here again. There is such a thing as class and the owner offers none of that! It is also going around that said worker was replaced because she was hard to work with, that is a blatant lie due to text messages between owner and said worker. If said worker was so hard to work with why did said worker QUIT and find a new job that actually treats their employees with respect and dignity! Said worker was not replaced, she QUIT because of the non stop banter from the owner. Just to clear a few things up here!! There are messages proving these statements so please don't be so quick to just someone who had a double face when you're back is turned.
