I just thought the fact that they had these was interesting, is this common in NY?

I love the vibe of this cute, little roadside restaurant. We stopped in for lunch. As I am mostly vegetarian, I can say that they don't have many options for that, but it was to be expected. I got a cheese quesadilla with buffalo sauce and a side salad and it was great. My brother had the ultimate burger, and he said it left a little to be desired, he didn't like the bun they use but the sweet potato fries were great. Our waitress was really sweet and checked back in with us, just the right amount! And I got a slice of apple spice cake to go. All in all a good stop!

Stopped in here to grab an early lunch while passing through this gorgeous area. Food - I had the Reuben and fries and my husband had the corned beef and hash. Mine was excellent. His was also very good/ Ambiance - very rustic but charming and clean. Service - was a tad slow, but we knew that going in as they had a sign explaining they were short staffed. We would eat here again!

This restaurant was highly regarded and quite busy. For me, it was ok. There want anything on the menu that was extra delicious, it just tasted like diner food to me. It ms a cozy atmosphere and the servers are really nice. The food took a while, but they are a small place and had a big party and only seemed to have two servers working the whole restaurant. The food was decent enough after a day at the lake.

Luckily for locals, Buck's picked right up and delivered a solid pie and boneless wings. I had about a 30 minute wait on a recent Wednesday night, not bad. For our large pizza and 24 wings, we paid a little over $30 - not bad. The owner was very friendly and chatted about the changes they had made while I waited to pick up my order. They have already started updating the interior and getting the walls painted and some updates to the kitchen area. Slices were available along with garlic pinwheels, chicken wing knots, and pizza rolls. All looked good. Our pizza had a nice, crispy crust and was not overly greasy. Wings were not over sauced and hit a nice balance of crisp and moist. We ordered them medium, and that's where they landed. Not too spicy, not too mild. Happy to report that Chittenango still has a solid option for pizza.

This is the type of place where you have to make sure you have time because they have a small staff and make everything with lots of care -- but the wait is worth it. The employees will bring your order right to your car when it's ready (if you don't want to wait at the window.) The Buck is one of my favorites. It has strawberry jelly and peppery cheese and is scrumptious. Often I like to eat it right away in the car, but it's wrapped in a foil later and does keep well if I go home. A very unique spot unlike anything in Syracuse and I'd recommend stopping by to try at least once -- even if you're not vegan or vegetarian!

I really like that everything is vegan as someone who used to be vegan I think it's great to have some options around Syracuse. My coffee was AMAZING! Some of the best coffee i've had in a long time and I can't wait to try some other coffees on their menu. I really want to try their strawberry milk cold brew but they were out today. I tried the rambler and it is huge, filling, smells so good, and tastes even better! I'm not a huge fan of the fake bacon but again, it's great to have a spot with vegan options. Everyone who works here is amazing as well! You order at the window and they come out and deliver it to your car. Today was a cold snowy day, with snow banks taking over the sidewalks and they are all still out here delivering down the street right up until close. I told the man who brought the food to my car how amazing he is and he said I was amazing for coming out - such a great attitude as well! I will definitely be coming back!

I was not expecting them to be kid friendly, as they are a little more upscale, but they asked if we wanted a high chair and kids menu for our toddler! The dining room has clearly been upgraded recently and was beautiful! Our server explained the various menus and specials and quickly took our drink orders. However, service started to decline after this. We had ordered the warm bread basket, and never ended up getting it. By the time we realized they had forgotten about it, we didn't feel like it was worth it. Our salads and soups came out quickly, but everything else took a while. When we would finish one course, it would take 10-15 min to clear our empty plates. The waitress also didn't check in with us very often to see if we wanted to order more drinks. I will also say that more places should start bringing our young kids entrees before the adults. It can be very tough for a toddler to patiently wait 30 minutes for their food. Once we got our food, I will say everything was quite delicious. The steak was cooked perfectly and had excellent flavor. Portion sizes were also great. I did find an unmashed chunk in my whipped potatoes, but the taste made up for that. The kids mac and cheese was also delicious and the portion was huge! For dessert, we had the option of creme brûlée cheesecake or flourless chocolate torte. Both were decadent and a good way to end the meal. We definitely want to give this place another try, as the food was good. They just need to work out some kinks with their service.

When my son's game at a local indoor center ran over by almost 30 minutes, I called and told them we would be late. They accommodated us and seated us immediately upon arrival. About 10 minutes later, at 8pm, the live music started. It was wonderful music, but where we were seated was in front of the speakers and two of our party wear hearing aides. When it looked like we were going to have to cut our celebration short, our server, the wonderful Marcy, and another gentleman, worked to get us seating in the lower dining room in front. We were so grateful for the accommodations, and everyone was super nice about it. The food and drinks were outstanding, of course. Our party ordered the chicken bowl, the chippy chicken, the curd burger, a cheeseburger, and the turkey avocado. Everyone was silent as they ate! The service was friendly and impeccable (even when we really weren't being easy customers), and our night, which could have gone south so quickly, was made! And hopefully a younger, hipper crew moved into our table and enjoyed the wonderful music! The band was great and we really enjoyed it still from where we ended up! So cheers to the staff at AG! Unfortunately, based on our visit, I do not anticipate returning. While I do have several culinary critiques--such as paying for the luxury wine pairing only to receive a bold Burgundy alongside Linguine and Clams, or seeing "Caviar" listed on the menu and discovering it was actually Bowfin roe--these are ultimately matters of taste and expectation. Likewise, the eclectic menu progression, shifting from Korean/Asian-inspired starters to Eastern European notes and then unexpectedly into Italian influences, was unusual but clearly stated ahead of time. SEE UPDATED REVIEW FOLLOWING THIS SECTION SPECIFICALLY RELATING TO "SERVICE FEE". What was not clearly stated--and what I believe crosses into dishonest practice--was the service fee. The menu advertised on Instagram included fine print noting a 3% service fee. That seemed reasonable. However, the check we received instead included a 22% service fee, which is a significant and unexplained deviation. This is not a simple oversight. The terms presented online at the time of reservation did not match the terms presented at the restaurant. (UPDATED REVIEW: Following my review, one of the owners of Noble Cellar reached out to discuss my experience. We had an in‑depth, thoughtful conversation about the complexities of New York State restaurant laws, particularly those governing how front‑of‑house staff may be tipped and how back‑of‑house employees may be compensated. While we were in agreement that the language surrounding the service fee was confusing, our discussion gave me a clearer understanding of the intent. I now feel far less certain that the discrepancy was malicious or deliberately deceptive. That said, it should have been made much clearer to diners that the service fee included what is traditionally understood as gratuity. Transparency in this area is crucial for maintaining guest trust, and clearer communication would have prevented the confusion I--and likely others--experienced. I want to commend the owner for reaching out directly and taking the time to address each of my concerns. His willingness to engage, listen, and provide context demonstrated genuine integrity. We also discussed my other critiques in depth, and it was evident that he was sincerely interested in my perspective and committed to further elevating the experience they aim to provide. I was invited back to experience a standard service, and I appreciate the opportunity. I look forward to giving Noble Cellar another chance and hope to update this review again following a future visit.) Our total bill was $599, including a $100 "service fee." I still chose to leave a $100 tip, as our server was attentive and should not be held responsible for management's decisions. In the end, we spent $700 for two people--paired with the added disappointment of feeling misled. I have photo documentation of both menus, and the discrepancy is unmistakable. I will be reaching out directly to ownership and management regarding this issue. Until then, I feel compelled to leave a 1-star review, as this level of inconsistency and lack of transparency is unacceptable. Without the inflated and undisclosed fee, my rating would have been closer to 3 stars, based on the food and overall experience.

My husband asked for a mixture of lean and moist brisket and the guy at the counter said "we only have brisket." It was at that point, I knew this would be an adventure. We went back at one point and asked for bread, and he raised his voice at my sister and said bread doesn't come with brisket. On to the food, the pulled pork nachos were weird. They used the mustard BBQ sauce which was an odd choice. The hot wings were good! The brisket was disappointing. It was still a little tough, and probably needed to cook for another two hours.
