Kataifi is phyllo dough shredded into fine threads, resulting in a light and crispy texture that reminds you of toasted coconut but way better. I went for a slice of the spinach, cheddar tomato quiche, warmed, and a molasses cookie. First the good. The cookies was delicious. Moist, flavorful with just the right spices. The quiche was a mixed bag. Overall the flavor was pretty good...a tad bland but ok. But the crust was just awful. It was almost totally raw...and not just the wet crust under the egg but the edges too. There is no way they blind baked it at all. I was able to peel the entire crust off the egg with it breaking. There was no crumble at all. I could squeeze the edge and flatten it without it crumbling. I hate to be this critical but it was very bad. Everything else looked so good and because the egg part and the cookie were good I will definitely try again.

I also grabbed a bottle of the hard cider they make, so hopefully that turns out to be good! I'll be frank: they do have some things they farm themselves, but a lot of the other produce is homegrown... just not necessarily from the area. And honestly, that's a little annoying when you're stopping at a roadside farm market expecting more local stuff. That said, they have a good variety of things, and they take credit cards as well as Apple Pay/Google Pay, which is definitely a plus. Is it worth stopping? I'd say yes, especially if you're already in the area. BUT if you happen to see one of those little roadside farm stands while you're driving around, I'd stop there too -- just make sure you have cash. And yes, they have parking, so no worries there!

The ice cream was creamy to the right consistency and the spread of sprinkles was complete. Sprinkle flavor was a bit grainy, but not enough to take away from the overall feel of the cone. I definitely plan to stop back for some more of the gelato when I am in the area next time !
