Turkish coffee
Erica O.

This is a beautiful little bakery in Oswego. The young lady who owns it was very friendly and we loved talking with her about her baked goods and coffee. She has baklava, cream puffs, eclairs, macarons, pies, etc. Her breakfast sandwich is one of the best I've had. She serves it on a Turkish roll called "Acma"(?). Buttery and flaky almost like a croissant. She fills it with fluffy eggs, cheese and a slightly spicy sausage called soujouk. We were licking our fingers. I bought baklava to bring home but had a small cream puff with my tea. The pastry cream was so smooth and creamy, but was thick with lots of body...it was wonderful. I had a taste of my friend's Turkish coffee which was strong and smooth and sweet. A definite 5+ stars.

Oh wow!! A Turkish bakery in Oswego NY... and it's fabulous! The owner is a young woman from Turkey who was so friendly and informative. She had delicious Turkish bacon says well is French macaroons and black and white cookies... Be sure to try the Turkish coffee or sample one of her teas You won't be disappointed

I was in Oswego and craving coffee and desert and I searched Yelp and came across this place. I'm glad I did!!!! I chose cream puff with fresh fruit and American coffee. This cream puff was the BEST I've ever had. The custard is so creamy and the crust was crunchy and delicious The coffee was fresh and smooth. The service is great! I asked a lot of questions regarding the deserts and Turkish coffee. I decided I wouldn't like the Turkish coffee even though many people gave it favorable reviews. It's really cute and modern inside but with a warm feel. I would definitely come back and probably get the same thing because I loved it so much.

Never would've thought to stumble upon a Turkish bakery in Oswego but it was such a great find. The baklava is a must and the macarons are delicious as well. I ended up getting the strawberry and I think a chocolate pretzel one which were so fresh and delicious. The prices are higher than average I would say but so worth it.

New all-day breakfast sandwich is delicious!! You can get it with sausage or make it vegetarian

Only tried the French macaroons and they were delicious! They are definitely overpriced though.

Up until a few years ago you really couldn't find macarons in any local bakeries, so I would only indulge on my trips into larger cities. Now, you can more readily find them but quality differs. I've been wanting to try Moonflower for many months now and had a chance the other day. Their marketing game is on point, beautifully packaged and presented product. The shop is set back from the road so you can easily miss it, maybe some additional signage would help. The shop is consistent with their refined aesthetic but is tiny, maybe only two customers can be in the shop simultaneously. The younger staff who helped me was very nice and knowledgeable about the product. The macarons are sublime, gorgeous and authentic (crisp on outside, proper feet, slight interior chew). The flavor variety is delightful. I love that some of the flavors are unique and unexpected such as frosted animal cookie. My favorite was the pistachio raspberry, there was an actual raspberry in the center. They change up their flavors every month. Truly a one of a kind bakery in the area. Clearly a lot of care goes into the product. I will return again and again. Merci!

Lucky Charm bottom right. Citrus (mango lime vs lemon raspberry) are stellar. Green velvet (dark green) had cream cheese frosting filling!

They also sell some very cute greeting cards, earrings, magnets, etc. We ordered two drinks (Ube Espresso, Crème Brûlée latte), a flower pot mini cake (chocolate cake with raspberry filling in a decorative flower pot), a crème brûlée donut, and a spinach puff. The desserts were good, with the flower pot mini cake being our favorite. The chocolate cake was moist and the raspberry filling was balanced. We didn't love the flower frosting on top, but it was very pretty. The donut was very unique and filled to the brim with a fluffy cream - though we both thought it could've had a bit more flavor. The dough was perfect - soft and pillowy. The crème brûlée top made for a fun eating experience as the thin hard sugar had a satisfying crunch. The spinach puff was also delicious. Flaky pastry and cheesy filling - very comforting. The stars of the show were the drinks. The coffee was superb - balanced, smooth, and rich in flavor. While I didn't find the ube flavor to stand out, the ube espresso drink was still one of my favorite coffee drinks I've had. The Crème Brûlée latte was my friend's favorite - it was the perfect dessert drink. It even had the sugar crust on top. I would definitely come back to try more of their menu!
