We have picked up pizzas about 5 times in the past 12 months. The first 4 were great. They had given us the extra sauce that we requested and there was plenty of cheese. But the one we picked up tonight at 7pm on a Friday night was awful. We couldn't taste the sauce (and we ordered extra sauce on it). It also had very little cheese on it. We paid $28 for a 16" pizza and was extremely disappointed. I'll go back to Tortorices. At least they make consistently great pizzas. read more

Family and I stopped in for lunch today for 1st time. I came mainly for the Detroit style pizza . Wait staff were great. I tipped appropriately in appreciation. Now food quality & taste ..."meh" I found the the base & crust of the Detroit style pizza too tough & knives are dull can't even cut the pizza. read more

I used the online order feature yesterday, and I had requested my order be ready at 5:15 because I had a dinner break from 5-6 (I placed the order at 4:15). I received a call around 4:30 that my food was ready that I wasn't able to answer because I wasn't near my phone until my dinner break at 5. It was fine when I ate it, but it had been sitting around for about 40 minutes by the time I picked it up so it obviously wasn't the freshest or warmest. I'll probably get around to trying Station 34 again but dine in instead of doing an online order. read more

Just visited for the first time this weekend and I knew it was going to be a good place because it was packed! Delicious Detroit style pizza (I recommend the garlic chicken pizza) with the crispy, cheesy crust and lots of other items to choose from on the menu. The wait staff was very friendly and our food arrived in a timely manner. Loved all of the vintage firefighting memorabilia on the walls which matched the warehouse style brick interior nicely. There's even a nice venue room upstairs past the balcony and a large bar and drinks selection. Definitely will keep this place in mind and would highly recommend! read more

Pleasantly surprised by the good food here. And I think you will be too! I have eaten here numerous times. Salads were excellent, appetizers were good. We enjoyed the Detroit style pizza but the home run turned out to be the tavern style thin crust pizza. It was excellent. Add in the fact that often have specials like half off pizza and it is a new local favorite. I highly recommend it. read more

Really I'd give Station 34 3.5 Stars (not an option). It seems like a decent place all around. Reasonable selection of food with interesting twists for what I see as pretty much a hangout/bar. Our server (Chelly) was nice, helpful, and attentive. Good selection of beer. Sangria was just passable (not that it was something they promoted). We had Detroit & thin crust pizzas (margarita, bbq, & jalapeño). No addictive flavors, but not boring and was nicely done/cooked. The sautéed veggies were perfectly cooked. It was just a weeknight family dinner for us, so the jukebox was just a bit loud for us, but easily talked over. Neat layout and fun atmosphere. It had a nice neighborly vibe which was probably aided by some young parents who appeared to be tying up a small birthday gathering. read more

I have been here a number of times so I thought I would write a review. The general restaurant is nicely decorated. The food is in general ok, not bad and not great. So, not a bad place to spend some time. A couple of comments though. The restaurant put in some poker machines. Not a huge fan of the machines or how they were added to the restaurant. They took out part of the dining room and half walled it off. Makes the overall space kind of awkward. Also, the decision means that the tables in this area are now crowded together making it hard to walk around. Also, went in with my wife the other night for dinner after a movie. They had a band playing that was good, but, so loud that my wife and I had to sit on the second floor all the way at the back of the restaurant so that we could actually hear each other. It was actually so loud that the waiter had to get right next to us to take our orders. Honestly, I think it would have been a bit too much for most anyone eating at the restaurant unless all they wanted to do was listen to the band. I think it comes down to the acoustics in the building. The space is really open with only a partial second floor - so there is nothing to block off the sound. It probably sounds good to some people but depends on what you want. If you want to drink and listen to the must - not bad. If you want to eat and have a conversation below shouting level - not so much. read more

This resto was under 3 ownership and i think it was bar145 something before it became Station 34. The previous one has a live band every friday. Food and appetizers are good as well as beer selection. Parking is not the best though but better than going to Arlington Heights... read more

It's taken a few owners to get it right but I think it finally happened. The food is better than ever. Staff is all friendly. The owner seems really attentive and listens to suggestions. If you dismissed the place like I have over the years, I'd give it another shot. read more

Ordered curbside carry out last evening. BBQ chicken salad and a family-size baked ziti with Italian sausage & vodka sauce. Portions were large. Food tasted great. Prices are more than reasonable. If you have an allergy, DONT GO. I specifically told our server about my shellfish allergy. Found out later, that she never put it on our order. Could have died. Thought with the new ownership this place would be better. Disappointed. Our server made numerous mistakes, we got up and got our own silverware and condiments. This place is delicious. It's the 4th time we have had food station 34 and it has never disappointed us. Tonight we ordered the hot Cheetos cheese curds, fantastic! We also had the cheeseburger calzone it had all the cheeseburger fixings with a sauce that was a little sweet that complimented the calzone. We had the cubano panini. We ordered a pretty large order on a Saturday night .. the food arrived - we noticed we were missed the Mac and cheese but just thought to let it go .. then the rest of the order was just pretty bad overall. The chicken tenders and panini were inedible - fries very soggy. We were very disappointed so I decided to call about the missing item. I was put on hold for over 5 minutes and had to hang up and call back. They offered to bring the Mac and cheese, but at this point I was totally over it and just wanted the refund. The person I was talking to wasn't really sure how to issue / confirm the refund. Overall, very bad experience and will most likely not order again. We were here for a private party in their upstairs room. Everything was perfect! The service was excellent and the food was very good - especially considering it was for a very large private party. We took a gamble and ordered delivery from here. There have been bad reviews but decided to give them a chance. We will not go here or order from here again. Ordered the mac and cheese and a buffalo chicken panini. The jalapenos I asked to be added to my mac and cheese were from a jar. If you are going to have vegetable options to add they should not be from a jar or can. This basically ruined the whole dish. The "panini" was a sandwich made from two barely toasted pieces of plain white bread. They have been open long enough to get the quirks out. I've tried a few times to support this place because it's a local restaurant but, unfortunately, it is simply not good. Imagine the slimey pieces in a bag of lettuce that give you the sign to throw it out, and that's what they use on sandwiches and salads. I've also experienced poor customer service on a couple of occasions and my food has not been ready during the promised timeframe. Restaurants at this location never seem to make it more than a couple of years and I don't think Station 34 is going to be an exception. I usually like this place but a few times In a row have been disappointed with the food. Overly greasy. Then I received the garlic parm wings which wherever else you go they are usually a good choice, not here. Disgusting and coated in a thick spicy sauce. I called thinking they would do something for me since I'm a good customer but they basically advised that they would rather lose me as a customer then change out the wings. After reading the reviews I thought hey let's give this a try. This was my 4 th and final attempt to get delivery since 3 times before it kept saying im outside the delivery. So I finally was able to order and couldn't wait. I ordered and than 30 mins past my delivery time I called up to see where it was. Had to call 3 times to get anyone to pick up. Than I was told only what I can call a lie but I know they will call it a misunderstanding. I was told my food was just being boxed up to be delivered since they were busy. Ok no problem it happens do I have then the benefit of the doubt. Not 10 mins later the delivery person was here the only reason they got 2 stars was because the delivery guy actually knew how to ring the doorbell and not all me yup meet him in the parking lot, otherwise they would get 0. Three good came ICE COLD, NOT COLD BUT ICE CV OLD RIGHT OUT OF THE OVEN REMEMBER THAT'S WHY M WHAT THEY TOLD ME. I would of called and complained but didn't want to sit in the one trying to get ahold of them again and wait longer to eat. So instead I ate cold pizza which wasn't all that. To me it was a waste of money. Just like the hot giardiniera knots, more like ice cold, and where the giardiniera oh wait that's right I found tiny pieces outside the knots enough to make maybe one tiny piece of a vegetable.
