    Thai wings

Met friends for dinner here tonight. We started with wings, they were great! Highlight of the night! Fish tacos were good, not as much of a portion as the waitress suggested. Butter chicken was great, and our friend's regular go to dish. Caesar salad was typical. The big disappointment was my meal. I ordered off the specials menu, the clam strip platter, and it was more like fries with a sprinkle of clam strips on them. The coleslaw was also a tiny portion. (See photo). I am not sure if I got the last remaining bits but this plate was not worth the $24 or so. The building is an old fire station which goes with the motif. I think most people think "Station" refers to the train station right behind the restaurant, but the building is a former fire station!

Very cute place with good food! I had the wings which were cooked perfectly and a chicken Caesar salad which was delicious. Service was quick, we had our dog as well, who was welcome on the patio.

Food was excellent and the atmosphere is quite nice. Not something you would expect from a small town restaurant, but it's very welcomed.

Great spot in downtown Windsor. Solid food and service, and the new renovations look fantastic.

This one's a bit further than I normally trek, but decided to try them anyways. Got here early and the place was quiet. The plaza is relatively new and this was the only non-chain I could find there. Wandering in, had the front end lady greet me. Debated on the French toast, but decided to buck the trend and try their tacos. Also ordered a latte, which took a few minutes to make. Coffee is lavazaa which is okay coffee. Coffee wasn't too strong but it also lacked any flavor beyond milk. The tacos did take about 15 minutes to make, and I appreciate the attention but it did takes while to come out. The tacos were actually pretty good! The delay was because they did a heavy burned cheese layer on the tortilla. The avocado creama, creamy eggs, spicy homemade chorizo, and pickled onion lead to a very well balanced and well seasoned bite. Plus they were huge in size but every bite offered a similar experience. If I had to be a stickler, there was a lot of potatoes on each taco. Filler is fine, but I did notice the amount. As a taco, it's a very solid contender to one of the better tacos I've had in ct. the quality is there, the quantity is plentiful, and the price is right. If I only got the tacos, and I was warned that it would be a few minutes to make sure they came out right, then it would be a five-star taco. Because the coffee is okay and there was a bit of a wait, I did dock a star because of it. It's a great place for a local breakfast and lunch spot. So long as you go in knowing that it might take a little bit to get your order then the wait is worth it. The vibe is chill, the food is good to great, and the staff are very nice.

I go all the time, and every visit hits the same way: comforting, consistent, and full of that small‑town charm you can't fake. The breakfast tacos are my personal obsession packed, flavorful, and somehow both hearty and fresh at the same time. And the chicken cutlet? Perfectly crispy, perfectly seasoned, and the kind of thing you think about later in the day like a little food daydream. The staff keeps things moving with kindness and ease, and the whole place has that "everyone knows your name" vibe without trying too hard. It's the kind of spot where you settle in, sip your coffee, and feel like you're part of the town heartbeat. If you want a place that serves comfort, community, and seriously good food, Mojo's is it.

I ordered the Chicken Picatta and a Lemon Drop Martini - both were fantastic...I actually ordered a 2nd Martini! Place is clean, organized and well thought out. It's like someone has an idea of what upscale should be based on 80's movies and did that. I ordered a ribeye on the bone. Instead of baked potato you traditionally get in a steak house, they give you mashed potatoes - they weren't bad, but they weren't great either. It also comes with a medley of steamed vegetables - squash and broccoli. No seasoning or anything to make it stand out. Finally the steak apparently came with a mushroom sauce which wasn't bad but to be blunt, the steak would have tasted better without it. In fact the waitress really should confirm customers know it comes with a sauce and verify they want it. The waitress did let me know the owner routinely travels to NYC for some reason to get his steaks. She didn't know from where in NYC. I almost forgot, instead of typical bread rolls to have while waiting for your food, they give a garlic and tomato sauce roll. It was decent and is at least something to give the restaurant some personalization. I wouldn't call it exceptional though. I am glad I tried it but I doubt I will return.
