Used to LOVE their burgers and when a friend asked to grab a great one we gave this a try. Preformed hockey puck is what they called it. Definitely not what it used to be.

I drove past this place every week going grocery shopping but never stop by. One Friday night, we did with our newly wedded friends. Very pleasantly surprised with food and vibes! The crispy boneless wings were so good and the french onion soup burned my entire mouth but was worth every dead taste bud. Our bartender Cheyenne was a complete vibe she's so great. Would come back again. Thank you all.

On way home we discovered this restaurant, local place with live music. Food was really good... really extensive beer selection must have is definitely the tater tots. If im out in that area, I definitely would stop their again.

Our server was amazing! The food and drink were delicious. We went at 11am on a Saturday before all the loud crowd would get there. My partner's breakfast potatoes in a breakfast called The Basic were so good, I want to go again just for those! Also, did I mention how awesome our server was?

Nice service with tasty salad, a chance to catch up with a friend without the server hovering.

Been to the hidden still a few more times. After having more of there menu I had to update on a few items. I am not a fan of their regular burgers. The bison is good, the short rib is awesome and the meatballs are great. The regular burger is underwhelming compared to the other items. The wings are good, the dessert bacon brownie is not so good. Hershey chocolate sauce and a cold brownie with a vanilla bourbon ice cream. The ice cream is okay, rest not so much. They make good fries and tots, and their portions are generous. Did get overcharged for queso one time, wasn't a fan of that Overall, I really enjoy their food but I had to dock a star because they don't hit everything out of the park. Would love to see a stuffed French toast with a bourbon maple syrup, sweet cream cheese and warm bananas and nuts. Or bananas foster with that vanilla ice cream.

Came here on short notice with a large group from work and quickly got a private room assigned (nice!) With a really nice dedicated waitress. She was the best part of the experience always there and making sure the team was taken care of. Ambiance was nice as well, nice wooden tables, rustic modern vibe, definitely got the upscale bar vibe going. Pricing isn't too bad, drinks are reasonable and food prices reflect an upscale bar atmosphere. A few issues though, minor and major - parking is a pain, good if they're busy but parking lot not big enough and the area isn't conducive to street parking. Never a fan of stressing about parking. Bigger issue is the food quality is very mediocre. Chicken tenders looked worse and cost more than raising canes (and weren't crispy nor full of chicken). Nachos lacked enough topping - it was like 80% chips... you can't skimp on the cheese... or the meat. Fries weren't that crispy... wings were decent but definitely not enough blue cheese for a double order (should have brought 2 or 3, not just 1). Would like to come back here if the food can match the rest of the venue.

"I'm not no red football To be kicked around the garden"…read more(Sinead O'Connor) If you live in Connecticut, the odds are pretty damned good that you've visited one of Wood n Tap's ten locations, including one just over the state line in West Springfield, MA. They offer very good casual dining, a nice bar, and a great Happy Hour menu. Today, we discovered they also feature a pretty sweet NFL Game Day menu available only for "Dine In Bar Room" customers. We were driving home from Boston while listening to the NY Giants-Cleveland Browns game on my phone, it was 2:30, and we were hungry. My wife had a brainstorm to stop for lunch at Wood n Tap to catch some of the game on FOX TV. We sat in the bar and saw they had five televisions up on the walls, showing a variety of games. The Giants game seemed to be their primary offering because the audio feed was piped into the bar, and eventually, I discovered it was also piped into their Unisex restroom. Their NFL Game Day Menu had some awesome values on it. For $12.99 you can choose from Bites-n-Chicks (Mini chicken sliders served on potato rolls with French fries, Bar Bites (mini Angus burgers topped with American cheese, pickles and house made Honey Dijon), an Angus burger topped with American Cheese, pickles, onion and a tangy sauce, Bar Chicks (Blackened chicken with American cheese, caramelized onions and chipotle aioli, or Island Chicks (Caribbean seasoned grilled chicken with citrus slaw and mango aioli). These deals are available Monday, Thursday, and Sunday during NFL games. I went with a bowl of their Chili ($8.99) and my wife ordered the Bar Bites mini burgers with Tater Tots ($12.99). I loved the flavor of the chili, plenty of ground meat, onions, beans, a dollop of cheddar, and some sneaky heat. It was served with five tortilla chips wedged into the bowl. My only complaint is that the portion size seemed a little light. Yes, it was served in a big bowl, but I doubt there was more than an inch and a half of chili inside that cavernous bowl. The hamburger sliders were great, as were the Tater Tots, but let's be honest, Tater Tots are ALWAYS great, aren't they? When our bill came, we were surprised to see the burgers rang up at the regular price of $16.99 instead of the football special deal at $12.99. We questioned our server, who didn't seem to know much about the football specials, but when we showed her the football menu advertising the sliders at $12.99, she apologized and admitted she didn't realize that was the case. At least she honestly admitted her mistake and rang up a new bill for us.

You should definitely take a Business Management course refresher on how to respectfully treat your paying customers and run a business. Such a horrible experience on my brothers birthday. We had a group of 8 ppl excited to try this place out. As soon as we walked through the door everyone in the establishment stared at us as they whispered. The crowd was far from inviting or friendly. We approach the bar and on 2 occasions the folks playing pool told us we were in their way..(understandable..@Racks why place pool tables so close to the bar that makes it difficult for a large party to be able to order drinks??) Most of our party was able to order their drinks except for my self..my brother and a friend. A Man(brown skin) we DIDNT KNOW approached the bar and had an exchange of words with one his bartenders following up on a question he asked her to to confirm with the owner. She became flustered told him off claiming he was disrespectful etc..( this guy was by far very polite to her while I was standing there and was following up on the price of 10 shots) She DEFINITELY over reacted and made me feel very uncomfortable. She walks to the back.. at that point a friend of ours reached over to get the drink the bartender poured for him before she walked away and left us unattended wondering wth just happened. The Jameson bottle she used was empty and our friend thought it would be comical to pick up the empty Jameson bottle and make a sad face that there was no more since we needed a 2nd drink of Jameson. Bad timing to say the least..the owner/bartender approaches the bar ready for WAR! The owner points at us 4 ALL OF YOU ARE OUT OF HERE** I'm bewildered as to why he started yelling at us as if we were a problem when we we were not with the guy that the bartender had an issue with. ( PERHAPS..WAS IT BECAUSE I TOO AM BROWN SKINNED..AND WE MUST BE TOGETHER RIGHT???) At that point I gave the owner the benefit of the doubt and told him ," can I please talk to you privately its my brothers birthday and we don't know that guy". He says if its anything to do about this situation he doesn't want to hear it and we have to go!!!! I couldn't help but feel singled out and a sense of racism when he spoke and looked at us..to be quite honest this place was about 98% white..the guy at the bar (told to leave) with his friends were also colored..Come on!! I'm by far the last person to play the race card...but the way we were treated, lack of customer service or understanding from the owner screams if you're not local or their people ..YOU'RE NOT WELCOMED!! FOLKS!! dont spend your money in an establishment that lacks respect and clearly don't want you there. Don't waste your time at this place..GO TO SPARE TIME DOWN THE ROAD...We left and had an amazing time.. their bartenders and management by far were amazing and treated us great.

Atmosphere/Appearance: Set right downtown Manchester on Main Street is this gem where Lucky Taco once stood. It echoes the standard British pubs and taverns from across the pond with deep yellow lighting, woods, exposed brick walls and open floorplan kind of vibe. It was lively, energetic and welcoming! Service: Lara took excellent care of us and she was very helpful! I had no issues at all. Food/Drinks: On the table when we arrived was an Irn Bru which is a SUPER popular drink sold in Scotland, often beating Coca-Cola in sales. It tasted like orange licorice, but it was actually pretty decent. Our first appetizer was an order of Crisps which were like thick cut potato chips with some garlic parmesan seasonings which I actually enjoyed! There was plenty of flavor from each component involved. Next up was the 007 which was their spin on the martini James Bond orders! In it is Wheatley Vodka, Bombay Gin, and English Tea Infused Lillet Blanc. It tasted like a dirty martini and was pretty strong! Smooth as well. I enjoyed it. Next up was a dish called Toad In The Hole which is Yorkshire pudding stuffed with smoked sausage then topped with caramelized onions and gravy. I have never seen anything like this before, but it was so strange, but pretty decent! The Yorkshire pudding was a bit eggy and dense. The gravy was a must though, since the other components of the dish lacked the salt that I was seeking. Next up was the Cloth Of Gold Old which is an Old Fashion with a twist which contained Old Forester, fresh lemon and honey. I enjoyed it, but I'm not sure why the mention of Old Fashion was on the menu unless this is supposed to differ from an "Old Fashioned". No matter, moving on. Next up were the Potato Pom Pom which are fired potato balls served with a house-made cheddar cheese sauce. It sounds like a simple dish. The cheese was thick, majorly cheddar-y. I really, really liked these! They tasted like a fancy tater tot. The potato inside was so soft and tender and the exterior was so crispy. My last drink of the night was the Bramble On Rose which is their take on a 1980's classic created in Soho, London. In it is Bombay Gin, fresh lemon, rose water and blackberry syrup. This was my favorite drink of the night. It was fresh, had some herbal flavors and the rose flavor made itself known. I really, really liked this drink and would certainly order it again. Lastly, the quintessential Fish & Chips! It's Atlantic cod in a brown ale batter, served with musky peas, chips, tartar sauce and a curry sauce. The curry sauce was surprisingly fantastic. I was blown away and absolutely needed more of it. The mushy peas resembled guacamole, but I had no idea how I was supposed to eat them. Lol. Were they a sauce? I don't know, but they tasted exactly how you'd think they'd taste. The fish was also fantastic. It was light, yet greasy and crispy. Value: The most expensive thing on the menu is $22.00. This place is not expensive at all so you certainly won't break the bank. Portions are decent size too. In conclusion, I absolutely enjoyed myself here and highly recommend you (reading this) to check it out! British food is... unpredictable if I must throw a word on it. Lol. Like, I almost couldn't predict what some of this stuff would taste like because I had never had anything like it before! Now, I'm a believer!

These complimentary chips are the best! Homemade and seasoned! For my first drink, I'm having the Cloth of Gold. This is an Old Fashioned recipe allegedly dating back to the 1600's. It is made with Old Forester, fresh lemon and honey (no bitters). This is nicely garnished and tastes good. I do think these glasses are only 10ox but I could be wrong. For my first item, I'm having the Chicken soup with rice and vegetables. This is steaming hot. The spoon is definitely oversized. It is very thick. Definitely a lot of chicken! This is real good! For my entree, I'm having the Atlantic Cod topped with buttery breadcrumbs and lemon bourre blanc sauce.Atlantic cod is a major commercial fish species found in the cold waters of the North Atlantic, ranging from North Carolina to the Barents Sea, and is renowned for its mild, flaky white meat. Lemon beurre blanc is a classic, rich French emulsified butter sauce brightened with lemon juice, white wine, and shallots, ideal for fish, seafood, or vegetables. It is made by reducing wine, lemon juice, and shallots, then whisking in cold, cubed butter off-heat to create a creamy, velvety texture. I'm having sides of cole slaw and a Caesar salad. This looks nice! That's a huge mound of cole slaw! That Caesar salad is huge (for a side dish)! This cod is steaming hot and tastes great! I love that sauce! For my last drink, I'm having an Obi Wan Negroni (which, just like the Jedi Master), is "out of this world." It is made with cold brewed infused Campari, Bombay gin and Carpano Antica Vermouth. You gotta love the light saber! This tastes like a coffee-infused Negroni. It's real good! For dessert, we are having the Blueberry Lemon Crumble Cake. Nice presentation! This is good! What a great meal here!

Inside is still somewhat nice looking if not a bit sparse and a bit dark. I try to get a single tamales. Along with a sandwich. Food comes out after a short delay. Took pics then dug in. Bread is really good. Crusty but soft and was warm. Had to cut it myself but they gave me a steak knife which worked for the job. The beef was flavored well but the jus was over seasoned with salt. It mellowed out when treated like a French dip, but still a little too salty on its own. There was about 6 small strips of steak, with some tomatoes and onions also in the mix to help bulk out the sandwich. The tamale was massive, masa was spiced well. Chicken was pulles in long strings which led to uneven bites of chicken and masa. Price was good for the sandwich but not the tamale. 13 for the sandwich is reasonable but would want the option for some fries or something to bulk it out. The tamale at 8 was too pricy for what you get. Not a bad tamale, but would rather pay 4 and get half than pay for a big one. Least then I can try both protein options and pick a winner. Overall, my biggest issue was the inability to read and understand the menu. Less than 50% of the menu had descriptions in English, and unfortunately when asking the staff they were unable to translate and answer questions. The tables around us were Spanish speaking and had a significantly easier dining experience.
