Bread is really good. Crusty but soft and was warm. Had to cut it myself but they gave me a steak knife which worked for the job. The beef was flavored well but the jus was over seasoned with salt. It mellowed out when treated like a French dip, but still a little too salty on its own. There was about 6 small strips of steak, with some tomatoes and onions also in the mix to help bulk out the sandwich. The tamale was massive, masa was spiced well. Chicken was pulles in long strings which led to uneven bites of chicken and masa. Price was good for the sandwich but not the tamale. 13 for the sandwich is reasonable but would want the option for some fries or something to bulk it out. The tamale at 8 was too pricy for what you get. Not a bad tamale, but would rather pay 4 and get half than pay for a big one. Least then I can try both protein options and pick a winner. They are improving, and the efforts are noted. New menus and new servers make for a better experience. There's still some tweaks to be made, but it's a good place to try if you're feeling adventurous

Today I managed to catch them late enough in the day to get something made, so I picked a few breakfast items to try. The location's not a pretty place. it's very much a gas station convenience store with a deli and a bench with stools. This is very much the place you go to when you're going to work and you want a quick bite to eat, and so long as you come in looking for that type of food then it works. The breakfast sandwiches were good enough. Eggs were cooked hard, white american cheese was melty and cheesy, roll was fresh, and the meats were cooked. There wasn't anything special about these sandwiches, but they were good for what they were. If you need a meal and want a basic sandwich, this place is more than capable of handling that type of request. The prices are actually pretty good, the portion is reasonable, and it's not bad. It's nice and hot with a lot of shredded chicken. For my entree, I'm having the Brussels Sprout Salad made with shaved Brussels sprouts, spring mix, bacon, pomegranate drizzle, silvered almonds, shaved Parmesan and lemon vinaigrette dressing. Look at the height of this! This tastes great! I am also having a side of mushy peas. Mushy peas are a traditional British side dish of marrowfat peas that are cooked until soft and mashed into a mush. Service: Lara took excellent care of us and she was very helpful! I had no issues at all. Food/Drinks: On the table when we arrived was an Irn Bru which is a SUPER popular drink sold in Scotland, often beating Coca-Cola in sales. It tasted like orange licorice, but it was actually pretty decent. Our first appetizer was an order of Crisps which were like thick cut potato chips with some garlic parmesan seasonings which I actually enjoyed! There was plenty of flavor from each component involved. Next up was the 007 which was their spin on the martini James Bond orders! In it is Wheatley Vodka, Bombay Gin, and English Tea Infused Lillet Blanc. It tasted like a dirty martini and was pretty strong! Smooth as well. I enjoyed it. Next up was a dish called Toad In The Hole which is Yorkshire pudding stuffed with smoked sausage then topped with caramelized onions and gravy. I have never seen anything like this before, but it was so strange, but pretty decent! The Yorkshire pudding was a bit eggy and dense. The gravy was a must though, since the other components of the dish lacked the salt that I was seeking. Next up was the Cloth Of Gold Old which is an Old Fashion with a twist which contained Old Forester, fresh lemon and honey. I enjoyed it, but I'm not sure why the mention of Old Fashion was on the menu unless this is supposed to differ from an "Old Fashioned". No matter, moving on. Next up were the Potato Pom Pom which are fired potato balls served with a house-made cheddar cheese sauce. It sounds like a simple dish. The cheese was thick, majorly cheddar-y. I really, really liked these! They tasted like a fancy tater tot. The potato inside was so soft and tender and the exterior was so crispy. My last drink of the night was the Bramble On Rose which is their take on a 1980's classic created in Soho, London. In it is Bombay Gin, fresh lemon, rose water and blackberry syrup. This was my favorite drink of the night. It was fresh, had some herbal flavors and the rose flavor made itself known. I really, really liked this drink and would certainly order it again. Lastly, the quintessential Fish & Chips! It's Atlantic cod in a brown ale batter, served with musky peas, chips, tartar sauce and a curry sauce. The curry sauce was surprisingly fantastic. I was blown away and absolutely needed more of it. The mushy peas resembled guacamole, but I had no idea how I was supposed to eat them. Lol. Were they a sauce?
