Used to LOVE their burgers and when a friend asked to grab a great one we gave this a try. Preformed hockey puck is what they called it. Definitely not what it used to be.

I drove past this place every week going grocery shopping but never stop by. One Friday night, we did with our newly wedded friends. Very pleasantly surprised with food and vibes! The crispy boneless wings were so good and the french onion soup burned my entire mouth but was worth every dead taste bud. Our bartender Cheyenne was a complete vibe she's so great. Would come back again. Thank you all.

Our server was amazing! The food and drink were delicious. We went at 11am on a Saturday before all the loud crowd would get there. My partner's breakfast potatoes in a breakfast called The Basic were so good, I want to go again just for those! Also, did I mention how awesome our server was?

Nice service with tasty salad, a chance to catch up with a friend without the server hovering.

Came here on short notice with a large group from work and quickly got a private room assigned (nice!) With a really nice dedicated waitress. She was the best part of the experience always there and making sure the team was taken care of. Ambiance was nice as well, nice wooden tables, rustic modern vibe, definitely got the upscale bar vibe going. Pricing isn't too bad, drinks are reasonable and food prices reflect an upscale bar atmosphere. A few issues though, minor and major - parking is a pain, good if they're busy but parking lot not big enough and the area isn't conducive to street parking. Never a fan of stressing about parking. Bigger issue is the food quality is very mediocre. Chicken tenders looked worse and cost more than raising canes (and weren't crispy nor full of chicken). Nachos lacked enough topping - it was like 80% chips... you can't skimp on the cheese... or the meat. Fries weren't that crispy... wings were decent but definitely not enough blue cheese for a double order (should have brought 2 or 3, not just 1). Would like to come back here if the food can match the rest of the venue.

Your lack of customer service..empathy, understanding and deescalating a situation clearly shows that everyone shouldn't be a business owner and you still have lots to learn. You should definitely take a Business Management course refresher on how to respectfully treat your paying customers and run a business. Such a horrible experience on my brothers birthday. We had a group of 8 ppl excited to try this place out. As soon as we walked through the door everyone in the establishment stared at us as they whispered. The crowd was far from inviting or friendly. We approach the bar and on 2 occasions the folks playing pool told us we were in their way..(understandable..@Racks why place pool tables so close to the bar that makes it difficult for a large party to be able to order drinks??) Most of our party was able to order their drinks except for my self..my brother and a friend. A Man(brown skin) we DIDNT KNOW approached the bar and had an exchange of words with one his bartenders following up on a question he asked her to to confirm with the owner. She became flustered told him off claiming he was disrespectful etc..( this guy was by far very polite to her while I was standing there and was following up on the price of 10 shots) She DEFINITELY over reacted and made me feel very uncomfortable. She walks to the back.. at that point a friend of ours reached over to get the drink the bartender poured for him before she walked away and left us unattended wondering wth just happened. The Jameson bottle she used was empty and our friend thought it would be comical to pick up the empty Jameson bottle and make a sad face that there was no more since we needed a 2nd drink of Jameson. Bad timing to say the least..the owner/bartender approaches the bar ready for WAR! The owner points at us 4 ALL OF YOU ARE OUT OF HERE** I'm bewildered as to why he started yelling at us as if we were a problem when we we were not with the guy that the bartender had an issue with. ( PERHAPS..WAS IT BECAUSE I TOO AM BROWN SKINNED..AND WE MUST BE TOGETHER RIGHT???) At that point I gave the owner the benefit of the doubt and told him ," can I please talk to you privately its my brothers birthday and we don't know that guy". He says if its anything to do about this situation he doesn't want to hear it and we have to go!!!! I couldn't help but feel singled out and a sense of racism when he spoke and looked at us..to be quite honest this place was about 98% white..the guy at the bar (told to leave) with his friends were also colored..Come on!! I'm by far the last person to play the race card...but the way we were treated, lack of customer service or understanding from the owner screams if you're not local or their people ..YOU'RE NOT WELCOMED!! FOLKS!! dont spend your money in an establishment that lacks respect and clearly don't want you there. Don't waste your time at this place..GO TO SPARE TIME DOWN THE ROAD...We left and had an amazing time.. their bartenders and management by far were amazing and treated us great.

I'm back! I love this place! It's quiet here ) it's only a Tuesday) but we're late (arrived at 9:15…read morePM). There is no shortage of decor here! I like the huge carafe of ice water and the spicy potato chips! For my first drink, I'm having a Negroni. A negroni is an Italian cocktail, made of equal parts gin, vermouth rosso (red, semi-sweet), and Campari, generally served with ice, and commonly garnished with an orange slice or orange peel. It is considered an apéritif. They also have an Obi Wan Negroni made with Cold Brew Infused Campari instead. For my first food item, I'm having the Cream of Mushroom soup with chicken. Cream of mushroom soup is a simple type of soup where a basic roux is thinned with creamor milk and then mushrooms or mushroom brothare added. This is delicious! It's nice and hot with a lot of shredded chicken. For my entree, I'm having the Brussels Sprout Salad made with shaved Brussels sprouts, spring mix, bacon, pomegranate drizzle, silvered almonds, shaved Parmesan and lemon vinaigrette dressing. Look at the height of this! This tastes great! I am also having a side of mushy peas. Mushy peas are a traditional British side dish of marrowfat peas that are cooked until soft and mashed into a mush. The dish is especially popular in Northern England and the Midlands, and often eaten with fish and chips or served as part of "pie and peas". Here's a quick overview of mushy peas: Ingredients** Traditionally made with dried marrowfat peas, but can be substituted with frozen peas or green split peas. I love this! It's nice and hot.,What a rare treat! This is hard to find anywhere! I'm also having a side of cold slaw. Coleslaw, or "slaw" in North America, is a side dish of shredded cabbage with a vinaigrette or mayo-based dressing. The word "coleslaw" comes from the Dutch term koolsla, meaning "cabbage salad". Recipes vary by region and can include additional ingredients like carrots, apples, raisins, or celery. Coleslaw originated in the Netherlands in the 18th century, but references to similar cabbage salads appear in ancient Greek and Roman medical texts. This is the best! Nice, thick dressing! For my last drink, I'm having a Godfather. The Godfather is a sweet and strong cocktail that blends Scotch whisky and amaretto liqueur. It's typically served in an old-fashioned glass over ice and can be garnished with an orange twist. The drink became popular in the 1970s disco scene and is named after the 1972 film starring Marlon Brando and Al Pacino. Some say bartender Joe Scialom created the Godfather to capture the movie's spirit. This is done just right! Good job! What a great meal here!

Atmosphere/Appearance: Set right downtown Manchester on Main Street is this gem where Lucky Taco once stood. It echoes the standard British pubs and taverns from across the pond with deep yellow lighting, woods, exposed brick walls and open floorplan kind of vibe. It was lively, energetic and welcoming! Service: Lara took excellent care of us and she was very helpful! I had no issues at all. Food/Drinks: On the table when we arrived was an Irn Bru which is a SUPER popular drink sold in Scotland, often beating Coca-Cola in sales. It tasted like orange licorice, but it was actually pretty decent. Our first appetizer was an order of Crisps which were like thick cut potato chips with some garlic parmesan seasonings which I actually enjoyed! There was plenty of flavor from each component involved. Next up was the 007 which was their spin on the martini James Bond orders! In it is Wheatley Vodka, Bombay Gin, and English Tea Infused Lillet Blanc. It tasted like a dirty martini and was pretty strong! Smooth as well. I enjoyed it. Next up was a dish called Toad In The Hole which is Yorkshire pudding stuffed with smoked sausage then topped with caramelized onions and gravy. I have never seen anything like this before, but it was so strange, but pretty decent! The Yorkshire pudding was a bit eggy and dense. The gravy was a must though, since the other components of the dish lacked the salt that I was seeking. Next up was the Cloth Of Gold Old which is an Old Fashion with a twist which contained Old Forester, fresh lemon and honey. I enjoyed it, but I'm not sure why the mention of Old Fashion was on the menu unless this is supposed to differ from an "Old Fashioned". No matter, moving on. Next up were the Potato Pom Pom which are fired potato balls served with a house-made cheddar cheese sauce. It sounds like a simple dish. The cheese was thick, majorly cheddar-y. I really, really liked these! They tasted like a fancy tater tot. The potato inside was so soft and tender and the exterior was so crispy. My last drink of the night was the Bramble On Rose which is their take on a 1980's classic created in Soho, London. In it is Bombay Gin, fresh lemon, rose water and blackberry syrup. This was my favorite drink of the night. It was fresh, had some herbal flavors and the rose flavor made itself known. I really, really liked this drink and would certainly order it again. Lastly, the quintessential Fish & Chips! It's Atlantic cod in a brown ale batter, served with musky peas, chips, tartar sauce and a curry sauce. The curry sauce was surprisingly fantastic. I was blown away and absolutely needed more of it. The mushy peas resembled guacamole, but I had no idea how I was supposed to eat them. Lol. Were they a sauce? I don't know, but they tasted exactly how you'd think they'd taste. The fish was also fantastic. It was light, yet greasy and crispy. Value: The most expensive thing on the menu is $22.00. This place is not expensive at all so you certainly won't break the bank. Portions are decent size too. In conclusion, I absolutely enjoyed myself here and highly recommend you (reading this) to check it out! British food is... unpredictable if I must throw a word on it. Lol. Like, I almost couldn't predict what some of this stuff would taste like because I had never had anything like it before! Now, I'm a believer!

Inside is still somewhat nice looking if not a bit sparse and a bit dark. I try to get a single tamales. Along with a sandwich. Food comes out after a short delay. Took pics then dug in. Bread is really good. Crusty but soft and was warm. Had to cut it myself but they gave me a steak knife which worked for the job. The beef was flavored well but the jus was over seasoned with salt. It mellowed out when treated like a French dip, but still a little too salty on its own. There was about 6 small strips of steak, with some tomatoes and onions also in the mix to help bulk out the sandwich. The tamale was massive, masa was spiced well. Chicken was pulles in long strings which led to uneven bites of chicken and masa. Price was good for the sandwich but not the tamale. 13 for the sandwich is reasonable but would want the option for some fries or something to bulk it out. The tamale at 8 was too pricy for what you get. Not a bad tamale, but would rather pay 4 and get half than pay for a big one. Least then I can try both protein options and pick a winner. They are improving, and the efforts are noted. New menus and new servers make for a better experience. There's still some tweaks to be made, but it's a good place to try if you're feeling adventurous

For an entree we got the wok fried rice with mixed meats. Rice was well done, but basic fried rice, the meats were cooked very well (other than the shrimp) but not a lot of meat. Overall, my biggest issue was the inability to read and understand the menu. Less than 50% of the menu had descriptions in English, and unfortunately when asking the staff they were unable to translate and answer questions. The tables around us were Spanish speaking and had a significantly easier dining experience. I feel like this is a great local Latin American diner, and if you are looking for some authentic Peruvian home style dishes this is the place. But if you are English speaking be aware you may have difficulty.
