They are terrible. The installer would not go on our roof to set up the bracket and dish so my 69 year husband went and did his job. He hooked up the long cable( need the shorter one) and they said they would send the same guy to do that. So they didnt send anyone. we have 100 extra feet of cable and the only way to fix it is for my husband to do it. the service went out for over 24 hours 2 weeks ago. they said they could get some one out in about 5 days. my husband went back up on the roof and the dish was completely off the cradle ( half way down the roof). clearly the installer had not clicked it in properly before my husband installed it. My husband fixed it.. i guess he is a verified Starlink installer now. we paid for service.. which there is none. i have photos and would love to share if anyone needs them. This company should not be in business and not representing the Starlink product. They don't have qualified employees, they don't care, huge rip off. stay away.. very sad to spend this much money and have to do the job yourself. read more

Temi at Starlink Installation Pros was really nice! Their installers came out and put the internet dish on the roof. They knew what they were doing. Now our internet works super well and doesn't cut out all the time. I can watch videos and our son plays games without it locking up. While the install was successful and the tech on site was very good, the company is unresponsive and refuses to reply to my requests to return items they sold me which I did not need. No reply at all to numerous calls, emails and texts. For this reason, I overpaid unnecessarily - they are expensive and unreliable. I do not recommend them at all. read more

Do not trust!! I tried to cancel the service after 24 hrs from my online transaction and could not... I was charged approximately $3500 and could not reach the company by phone or email using several different numbers.... I got my original Starlink running so I needed to cx.... The policy was 48 hrs to cancel services... I put in a claim with my credit card company - BOA- and they refuse to refund based on lack of cancellation proof despite my many repeated attempts to cancel by phone and email... they are a complete fraud! read more

Service so far is very good. Instalation was quick and when I needed my desk top updated, James Crock had it up in seconds. The return label for the cable issue finally got resolved. Ejay was helpful and quick to return my messages and calls. Hope the service remains great. read more

I hired Starlink Installation Pros to install my Starlink after Hurricane Helene. They came out and said that the only place they can mount it was in the front of my house, in the center. This was unacceptable. When I said no, they refused to refund the $320 deposit. They claimed it was to cover the cost of them coming out. Do not use an installer that will not give free onsite estimates. This company has no incentive to do good work if they are getting paid for doing nothing. read more

Worked with AJ for a week to get my Starlink installed. Finally a date was set. Then 4 more days and still no contact from the install company. This company takes a $350.00 deposit and then finds a RV repair company to do the install. So they are a middle man taking extra $$ just to TRY to set up an install. I finally gave them 2 hrs to get a hold of the tech or cancel my order. 35 mins After the deadline a lady from the RV repair company calls me and tells me "listen I am going to set you straight. We are not involved or work for Starlink". Really that's how you start a conversation? This was the worst experience I have had in a long time. Jerk around then FAIL to produce. DO NOT USE THEM !!!! They wanted $1,650 to do a ground install on my new home. I bought the parts for under $160, paid the $99 Starlink promotion for the standard kit, and completed the job in less than 2 hours. And I'm over 60 and no handyman. If you don't have to get up on your roof , warch the videos and do it yourself. If you are placing it on the roof, consider Best Buy or another Starlink recommended vendor for $200-$300. read more

I did receive an email from the Starlink Installation Pros asking me if I had a good experience even though they didn't do the job. I sent this to Starlink Installation Pros on May 14th, 2025 with no response. I removed and replaced everything the "installer" did in 1.5 hours. Still zero response from them. 5.14.25 I was promised "white glove" service but was sent an installer that had never installed a Starlink before. It took two hours for him to figure out how the bracket went together. He had to use two of my ladders. He showed up in a car. If I would not have helped him he would still be here. I had absolutely no problem helping him, but he just didn't have a vision of what he needed to do. When he was first trying to locate the satellite off of his app he had on his phone. I asked him why he was aiming to the south and he just said oh I thought that was north . I told him look where the sun is. That is the west, so if that's west only that can be north as I pointed north. He mentioned several times to me that when he went to the attic to back down, he would get turned around so he didn't know which direction he was facing. He mounted the Starlink panel where I told him I did not want it and ran 40' of cable across my roof which I told him was not okay. I will re run the cable and remount the Starlink panel. The Starlink never worked while he was here. My guess is because the error message on the app the direction he mounted it was 24 degrees off. Three of the bolts on the mounting bracket were not tight so the bracket moved back and forth about 1/4". Because the Starlink never connected The job was never completed because the ethernet was never hooked up to go through our house, and the Wi-Fi never worked. On Friday the day after the install, I went up on the roof and aligned the starling panel. After an hour and a half or so I was able to get the system working and at this point I think it's working properly, but I'm not sure. I will end up rerouting the cable to another vent opening to the location. I asked to have it installed in originally. The mounting bracket was also installed upside down so if you loosen the thumb screws, the dish would just slide right off the bracket instead of mounting the other way where it would be held in place. He mounted the router/modem bracket with drywall screws and no anchors that were in the kit so when I'm remove the router from the bracket, the bracket pull right out of the wall.I remounted with proper auger anchors. He said he wished he would've stopped at 7/11 to pick up a drink because he was so thirsty. I gave him a drink and told him the outside fridge had another drink if he wanted one. Four drinks later, my wife saw him standing in front of our garage, refrigerator freezer to cool off with another drink in his hand. He made her quite uncomfortable. I was upstairs working and heard him talking to my wife and grandson for about 10 minutes until I finally walked down and ask him if he had already finished. I knew he hadn't, but I was just trying to get him to stop talking to my wife and my grandson about his life. He was literally in our life for eight hours for a two hour job. As a business owner I have to tell you what you provided, but I wish I didn't have to. I didn't need the long cable so maybe I can send that back to. Hopefully you will refund all of the installation fee, because it was a negative value once you consider the time I spent helping and providing equipment and tools, as well as what I still have to rework. My perspective is different than some of those recently posted. I had Starlink installed in February 2025 (through Starlink Installation Pros). The installation was outstanding, and the installer (Matt) was even better than outstanding - I can't say enough good things about him. I also purchased the five year 'service plan' (I am much-older and not tech savvy at all. Nobody tried to push it on me, I actually requested it after hearing about it from the sales team!). We had a lightning strike at our home in the country in June 2025, and initially - it was difficult getting in touch with anyone at Starlink Installation Pros (our modem & routers were fried ..). But I was persistent - and ended up visiting with Tashel. She was responsive; empathetic to our situation; and committed to following up to ensure our 'service plan' commitments (which I paid for) were met. And she definitely followed through! She's a rock-star - I hope they keep her around :) I voluntarily waited for the same installer (Matt) to be available, and just like he did the first time around - he took care of everything that needed to be done, start to finish. I also learned that 'Kelsey' (the very first person I ever spoke with at Starlink Installation Pros in 2025 is still with the company, and their services have expanded to many more locations across the United States. I am not trying to diminish the concerns that some have expressed on Yelp - but I wanted others to hear of the great experience I've had with this company. I would give zero stars if I could. they overcharge you for the equipment which they have sent to you from Best Buy. They falsely claim to be Starlink when they are just an installer. Then, they spent all day trying to set it up in my house and it doesn't work AT ALL. They charged me more than $1,000 to set it up and in the process knocked out my heating and lighting systems in my home. read more

The Tech showed up on time, called me in advance, very good with communication in letting me know my ETA. along the way I received Emailed and contacts from the team to make sure my order was arriving on time I had a deadline I needed this installed and they got it done for me right intime. The Tech was did a great Job with my install. He even ran some speed tests assuring everything was working before he left. I also like the protection plan they offer incase any hardware issues or service from a professional rep. Im old so I enjoy having a total Peace of mind and they helped me get this done just right the 1st time. I love my Starlink service, its so much faster than the Verizon and Direct TV I had. I hated their service. and it cost me so much. Im glad im saving money now with my Starlink and I get to even watch updated shows now with streaming, not the same thing playing over and over again.
