Stopped at this location for the first time in a longtime, and I quite like it. I'm not a regular starbies drinker, but when I go I tend to use the mobile app because it's easiest to order. It was in fact seamless and they had my order ready here in less than 2 minutes. In case you haven't had an iced shaken espresso give that a try for your next order because it's delish! I normally add brown sugar or vanilla for a little extra. Also should note this location seems to have recently gotten an updated patio set. Definitely a plus, as I'm someone who loves to pop open my laptop and get some work down while here, and now they patio is extra comfy. read more

I tend to stop at this location a lot because it's near my place of work. I do actually really like their food here. Love the ham and cheese croissants! One of my gripes is that they don't provide ANY condiments. Not even little packets. And I really just want mustard with my ham and cheese croissants. I like their egg bites too. My other gripe is obviously how expensive it is! For no reason. My other gripe is that, although I do enjoy their iced coffees, they add entirely WAY too much ice. The ice to coffee ratio for the PRICE of the coffee is actually really obnoxious. What's more obnoxious is that I ask for "lite ice" every single time. You know what they never give me?? Lite ice. In fact I saw a guy making my coffee and literally topped my coffee off with MORE ice and I was like, "why?" LBVS. Make it make sense. Give me more coffee please. Parking is inconvenient, however the place is typically clean and the staff are always friendly and bubbly. read more

This Starbucks has really gone downhill. The space is dark, unwelcoming and the floor is constantly dirty. Service is slow - despite few people being in the place, mobile orders overwhelm the staff. Orders aren't ready when the app tells you they are - perhaps half of your order is ready but you can end up waiting another ten minutes for the last drink or piece of bakery. Some workers (not all) are unhelpful, which leaves a bad taste. Stone Creek down the street smokes this place. If it weren't for my teen daughter who has fallen for the place, I'd never go back. read more

This is a nice Starbucks. It can get pretty busy and parking can be an issue. However, that being said it has well trained staff and it is clean and well run. Starbucks is always good to try seasonal drinks. read more

This location is small but they are mighty! It's always pretty busy in there but the staff has always been friendly and they get your drinks out in a timely manner. Parking can be a nightmare but thankfully there's a lot behind the building that usually has spots available. read more

I had nothing short of a warm welcoming visit. They greeted me happily when I first walked in and the girl taking my order, kayla I think??, was so sweet. She had a smile the entire time and held eye contact and helped me figure out what to order. I ordered and paid for a dirty chai latte. I waited for it and noticed the label said "GR Chai latte." I asked why it wasn't a dirt chair latte, they looked disgusted that I would question them. The barista then took the drink, dumped a few ounces out, filled with coffee and put the lid back on. I don't understand why people that work at these places cannot just do their jobs without being complete assholes. I walked in and everyone was pleasant until I got to the register. I immediately felt negative energy from the woman helping me. I brushed it off given the unfortunate circumstances we are all facing. It wasn't until other folks walked in that I questioned her demeanor. She was welcoming and friendly with those after me. It's my 50th check-in here, and I'm soon to be moving away from the North Shore so it's about time I write a review. I give it three stars because this place can feel quite crowded on a weekend morning or some times during weekdays. In those cases, there's barely any space to wait for your beverage without blocking someone's way or access to their chair. I have found the service, nonetheless, to be nice and attentive overall. The location is a plus for this place (and what would bump it up to four stars.) The bathrooms are gender neutral and in pretty good shape. A hop away from the 14 and GreenLine bus routes. read more

This Starbucks is a nice outlet to grab a drink or bite to eat. It is popular among residents, those commuting from homes in Whitefish Bay, and students from several local schools. (If this location had a drive-through, I suspect they would be even more popular.) Because of its popularity and location in the heart of downtown Whitefish Bay, however, the shop can get packed during peaks hours (mornings, end of the work day, and after nearby schools are dismissed). As someone who likes to avoid those noisy, packed periods, my favorite time to work there is early Sunday morning (6-8 AM), when it is nearly empty. This Starbucks' baristas are friendly, but can seem to be overwhelmed during the busiest times. The few rare instances when I've had issues with an order, they promptly fixed it and even threw in a free drink for a later visit. I've read some Yelp reviewers who get upset about the employees, but my experience has been that they really try their best, and if they make a mistake, they step up and fix things. That's one of the main reasons this has ended up being my most frequently visited Starbucks outlet. read more

I've been living in Whitefish Bay for 15 years and the last 3 years service has gotten so bad they no longer call out your name when your drink is ready consistently. The other day they did actually call out my name but it turned out to be another person with the same name. They call out some names but not all and if I'm on my phone (not watching) sometimes my drink is just sitting there going cold. Most days if they don't have my drink because of outages they try to upgrade me, like if I ask for a blonde they try to sell me an americano. At least when you order on the app they just make it - no upsell. Also, your name is on the drink so you know you have to hunt for it and that's ok. Maybe when I order in the store they just don't like me...maybe they want my drink to go cold. Maybe I'm paranoid. read more

I think Starbucks is good because it's not just a drink store, it has other foods too. You can go there for lunch! My favorite is the strawberry Frappuccino. If you go there you should try that out. I like this Starbucks location, it's perfect. I've walked here in the summer for breakfast and strolled by the Whitefish Bay mini farmer's market on the way home. I have only ever had one interaction that has left a bad taste in my mouth. They are usually very nice. My gripe is that they are usually, by my definition, slow. In the morning, I am in a hurry, as are most people. I don't want to wait for regulars to catch up the staff on their previous weekend and talk about their upcoming plans. My slow order has also been wrong a number of times because they were too busy chatting. If you're in a hurry, check Caribou Coffee down the street. Suggestion to this Starbucks, please speed it up, a sense of urgency and accuracy is badly needed. read more

The space is a bit cramped (even after the remodel that they recently completed.) and the entry to the ordering line isn't clear, so it's a bit awkward that way. However, it's my neighborhood Starbucks, so if I'm in a rush (and can't stop at Alterra) I will pop in and grab a latte to go. The lattes are ok - not great, but ok. As with all coffee-shops, it depends on the barista. I would say that I get a burned latte as often as I don't at this location (over-heated milk = bitter latte). Staff is very nice and also efficient, so it's always a pleasant experience. I will say that they last several times I've popped in (since the remodel) my coffees have been good, so perhaps they changed equipment or re-trained. if I continue to have good lattes from this location, I will adjust my rating. read more

I really like this particular Starbucks. It is in a great neighborhood. I think that the temperature in their is not to cold, not to hot. I feel very comfortable. It is also right by bay shore mall so its great to go and do work their and do some shopping as well when your done. This particular Starbucks has a sky lodge feel to it. I ordered a banana nut bread slice and a grande iced coconut caramel macchiato. I got my slice of Bread and waited 12-15 minutes for my drink. Several people who ordered a drink behind me were served ahead of me. The excuse given was stickers got stuck yet everyone else's order was fine. I really like this Starbucks in the summer when you can sit on the patio on people/dog watch. Today I went around 10am and it was so crazy-busy- there was not any place to stand while waiting for your coffee! One of those situations that no matter where you stood, you were in someone's way. I hate that. Every table was fun. However, when I have gone really early, like 6am, I always get great service and it is quick and easy in and out. I like the location of this Starbucks. I especially like that there is no drive thru making you have to go inside and then bump into people you know from the community. Friendly baristas that have always correctly crafted my drinks. I especially love that this location has the Clover machine! If you haven't tried the Reserve coffees made in the Clover I highly recommend them. The space is a bit cramped especially during busy hours.
