We came to sit down and drink and talk, but found out there are no tables here. It's purely a "pick up" location. With a drive-through. Terrible service at 11:20 am. You pay with your card and they don't give you the receipt. The employee who takes your command has hearing issues or he is doing it in purpose to embarrass the client. He makes you repeat things four times. A colleague had to intervene to help with the order. The same employee asks you questions about how is your day going ? and shout out loud have a good day when you are leaving !? This is a terrible and awkward service... 1/10 read more

It's surprising how easily a cold brew with a cold cream foam can be messed up. This store, however, makes it perfect each and EVERY time! When you you are not a morning person and only function with coffee, having the correct drink to start off morning means a lot! Tip: Cold coffee drinker looking to save a bit of money? Buy the Trenta*! It's essentially two Grandes and only .50 more. You either have one drink for today and one for tomorrow, or split with a friend! This location was remodeled to cater to drive thru and pick up orders via the app. No seating at all, no posted menu, very odd vibe. Not a cozy, welcoming place. I wouldn't be surprised if there were no public restrooms here. Big bummer. The workers have been pleasant, but the remodel is a huge disappointment. read more

This is a super busy, but really great Starbucks. They are able to get through a ton of people every day. Mornings are crazy with high school & middle schoolers - and they still manage to give good service. I always enjoy the gals at the drive through - they are super nice! They have only messed up my order once, and when I called they wrote my name down and let me get it later. All in all, it's busy but consistent with good employees. read more

This location is always quick and expedient. There are tables that can comfortably accommodate 4 as well as some additional lounge furniture for casual conversations. This probably wouldn't be an ideal spot for a larger group (there's a location on bluemound by target or bluemound at Woelful that has a bigger meeting space). But for small meetings, homework, studying, dates or other meet ups this location would work well. Every two weeks I go to the nearby eyebrow place for a nice eyebrow trim. I tell myself " you do not need a chai latte.. You do not need a chai latte." And what do you know... i always stop by for my tea. The employees are really friendly, the service is fast and the startbucks taste like starbucks should. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the local spots too, like Roast, Anodyne, Alterra (and I WILL review them soon), but I love the way Starbucks coffee tastes. I can't deny it. A Starbucks is a Starbucks. People either like them or they don't. I am the type of person who likes spending time in cafes and coffees shops to study, use the internet (to write Yelp reviews for example), and to just sit and have a cup of coffee. I like starbucks mainly for their relatively low priced brewed coffee (1.50 for a tall, with 10 cents off if you bring your own cup!) as well as their free rewards program. That said, I'm not a coffee connoisseur and would never claim to be. This starbucks location is my favorite for a number of reasons: 1. although it's small, it's almost never busy and easy to find seating and parking 2. they have a nice outdoor area with multiple tables and sun umbrellas 3. it's a drive thru starbucks if you're on the go 4. it's conveniently located in proximity to mayfair mall. This is probably not my favorite Starbucks to frequent. Not because of the quality of their service. Or the coffee itself. Moreso the annoying kids that roll through. Sprawled on the couch like it's their living room, charging their phones, taking selfies and not buying a single thing. Ironically however, they manage to leave trash behind. I don't come to this location much. This is a small Starbucks store. I wish they gave a double door. It is so cold in there. Even with my cold on. All the cold air get in here doesn't make the place a cozy place to stay and do work. In my experience at other Starbucks locations, they greet and asked for names. I think having customer names are important. My cinnamon shortbread latte at downtown tasted really good. I ordered the same at this location and it doesn't taste the same. It taste plain with no flavor nor sweet. There's a lot of cinnamon grounds at the top. Chunks came out into my mouth. I don't mind. I just stir it around and drink the rest. I'll order something else and not have these extra toppings that I don't need. Other than that, they good music and I used my Starbucks app to earn points. Not my favorite Starbucks by any means. Frequent problems and a whole lot of attitude when I ask for the mistakes to be corrected. Today was the cherry on top of the negative experiences I have had there. Ally, the girl working the drive thru today, was rude and disrespectful after I asked why my drink order was almost $2 more than I'm used to paying. I asked for a receipt and she said the printer was down. I used rewards to pay for the drink and maybe she thought that gave her the authority to talk down to me. I called to confirm this and girl I spoke with Jessie listened to my concerns and apologized for the negative experiences. She also offered to put me down for a complimentary drink during my next stop. The two additional stars are for Jessie, because honestly I wanted to review this place with none. Booooooo Starbucks on Mayfair Road and Center. Not sure what it is with this Starbucks. I order chai tea all over the area (and outside Wisconsin) and it's fine. Then, when I go to this Starbucks, they don't add enough chai; when I asked for no foam, I got about an inch of foam. Disappointing. Why do I keep going back? I passed it twice on my way to and from church on Sundays. Time to find a new Starbucks. Called and have even spoken with management. First time I was told they are busy. 2nd time she took my name, but you could tell she did not care. Guess I'll make sure they are not busy! Slowest Starbucks I have ever been to! Unfortunately it is the only one I pass on my way to work!!!!

More often than not, my order from this location gets jacked. They give me a hot when I order ice, the wrong size, I have had a half full cup once, in a grande. Didn't even realize it till I got home. ect and I feel bad for holding up the line so they can fix what I order. Today, was icing on the cake. My mom was driving me back from the hospital and I was very drowsy. I wanted an iced venti macchiato so that I can take a quick nap at home and then wake up without screwing up my sleep cycle. My mom doesn't order often from SB, so I told her what I wanted. I was so out of it, my mom handed me the drink, thinking a grande was a venti size. 3 hours latter, I manage to wake up from the groggy fog, and saw the mistake. I just got back from the ER and all I wanted was a refreshing drink to wake me up. Instead, I had one more bad thing happen to me. I will never do business with this place again.
