I've been to this locations many times but never reviewed it. It's about time I give them the attention they deserve. I went with my usually jet black nitro. This delivers a rich creamy nutty flavor. You won't pick any fruity flavor but rather dark chocolate. Along with their great menu options, they also offer some great branded merch options. They have some of the most unique coffee mugs I've seen in the area. Their newest ones include designs of owls and caterpillar which I thoroughly enjoy. Been here several times, and have always been impressed. It's not the biggest Stone Creek (it's attached to a Brueggers Bagel Shop), but they do a brisk business, and provide excellent service. Stopped in on Friday morning. Ordered myself a London Fog Latte (little lavender, little vanilla , extra foam), and a Cardamon Pistachio Scone. Both of the items were excellent. They take their time with the latte, fully steeping it, with the right amount of foam. The scone is an actual scone (not a muffin, or bread in disguise). The coffee shop is not very large. They have seating along the front windows, and several small tables. You can also use the seating area in the Brueggers Bagel shop next store. Plenty of people get their bagel from there and their beverage from Stone Creek. Seems like a nice partnership. The staff have always been friendly, genuine smiles, and helpful suggestions (would you like that warmed up? Sure!) Even though they were incredibly busy, they seemed relaxed and friendly when taking care of me. Definitely a good to coffee shop, when I am in the area. Thanks! read more

I had a very chocolate scone that was delicious. I just bought house roast coffee. They have a side counter and a few tables. I've been here a few times the last 2 weeks and every visit I was greeted with excellent customer service. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable in their suggestions. I like the small seating area and the music playing; gives it a very welcoming vibe. I ordered mocha, a signature drink, and lavender lattes. When my husband and I visited Milwaukee, we came here to start one of our mornings. We were really thrown off at first because there is a bagel place called Brueghel Bagels connected to the same walkway as the coffee place, and we realized that you can walk through the bagel shop to get to the coffee shop OR you could go through the door on the right when walking through the entrance to walk directly into Stone Creek. If you walk into the door on the right like we did, you do have to move to the left of the counter because that's where you end up ordering; so in actuality, you are closer to the ordering area if you walk through the bagel shop to get into here. Obviously the reason I came here was for the coffee, and it was amazing. I ended up ordering an iced caramel apple latte, which tasted just like apple pie! My husband ordered a berry smoothie, which looked okay, but was a bit too watery for my liking; he said it was okay, but I couldn't try it since I'm allergic to strawberries. Once we got our drinks, we wanted to sit down, but the dining area is so tiny and the tables are close together, so you feel like you are almost on top of other tables if many people are sitting down. The tables were also pretty dirty because the baristas were busy and didn't have enough time to clean the tables in between each customer leaving after sitting down. Someone did end up leaving right before we found a seat which was lucky, so we did sit down for like 10 minutes. However, this seems more like a location to just pick up your coffee and go. read more

This is a small Stone Creek Coffee location, conveniently located in the same building as Brueggers Bagels (coffee + bagels = yes, please!). Stone Creek serves up solid coffee and delicious espresso drinks. Their Mexican mocha is delicious with just the right kick of heat. Their located right on Bluemound, and most times you can park close to the front so that it's nearly door to door service. Their small inside, so I wouldn't necessarily suggest them for lingering over a cuppa (in non-Covid times, I don't think they're offering indoor dining currently during COVID) but they're a great spot to grab and go (which is what I want from a coffee spot 95% of the time anyway). Not one of my better Stone Creek experiences. Still all closed down for having a coffee on site, presumably because of COVID19 and being short staffed. But when I came in they did have 5 workers behind the counter (all masked), but too many customers in line, none with masks on. It's a small but popular location so proper distancing isn't possible. I would have liked to see that they weren't open except for pick up and take away from somewhere on the street before I took the trouble to park and walk in. It was a little hard to park, they have a good parking lot and spaces on the street around them, but it's only approachable from one direction, and everyone but me drives extra large SUVs here and the parking lines mean nothing to these drivers. It's Stone Creek so the coffee is, of course, excellent. read more

Well this is a great little quaint spot! I love me some Stone Creek Coffee, but this was my first stop in this location. It's conveniently located on Bluemound Rd, so I'd imagine they get a fair bit of traffic. Parking in back makes things easy as well. I popped in to grab a hot matcha latte (w almond milk) on the chillest of days to warm me up and get a little caffeine kick. It's hard to go into a Stone Creek and leave without a pastry of some sort in hand. That being said, the mocha scone was calling my name. YUM - worth it! The staff was pleasant and the service was extremely quick. Each of the two employees I encountered asked about my day with a smile! I love friendly people. Oh p.s. this location is attached to Brugger's so if you're on the hunt for a coffee + bagel combo, this is your spot! read more

Frequented this place when my S.O. was hospitalized. It's close to Froedtert, and their (Stone Creek's) frozen caramel apple latte is delicious. Yum. There are so many great drink (and pastry) options! Their team was friendly and hospitable each time I visited. Seating is both indoor and outdoor. Their interior is cozy and has ample seating. Stone Creek is a solid fave MKE coffee spot for me! The baristas are friendly and well-trained--they have some of the most consistently made beverages for a local chain which I think is important. They also don't make their drinks scalding hot (aka the correct way lol)! They make my favorite chai latte and Mexican hot chocolate. They used to have my favorite bakery, but this past year I found the quality wasn't always there (minus a star for me). I do enjoy their cookies, some of their pastries and they have AMAZING yogurt/chia/granola parfaits. They also setup each cafe in a way that is trendy and inviting. This cafe though is a bit weird in that is a shared space with the bagel shop and is super small. They close early and the entrance from the parking lot in back is through this weird back hallway that is for the bagel shop. (minus another star for me) read more

Good Coffee; Great pairing with Bagels! I like the fact that Starbucks has competition in Milwaukee with several independent-style coffee places like this one. I also like the fact that this place is right next to the bagel place; however, it seems that they open an hour later than the bagel spot on at least some days(?). Coffee was good but a little on the light side. I had a 4 shot latte and GF had a regular latte. Hers was weak (by her own standards). Mine was just right with 4 but would have been weak with 3. It's worth another try! They do have bakery-type food available if anyone prefers this to bagels. read more

I don't like coffee but I do love my hot chocolate and I think their hot chocolate and Mexican spiced hot chocolates are so delicious. I occasionally get their lattes and they are also amazing. I enjoy going here because I know that it's locally owned and their drinks are appropriately sweetened without feeling like I'm drinking diabetes. My boyfriend loves their Mexican hot chocolate and loves it when I surprise him with it while he's studying while I enjoy a cup of hot chocolate. I got my boss addicted to this place as well on their Mexican hot chocolate and now we just buy drinks for each other when one of us goes. The staff are friendly and sweet and ask about your plans for the day. I feel like they genuinely care and love their job. They are engaging conversationalists. I clearly have a bizarre name and they never try to guess it. They just go, "Excuse me, did you say Mit" and spell it out and I say yup as opposed to other places that just guess what they heard. This is a quality place and I hope people continue to support them over the Starbucks that opened up diagonally to them on the intersection. read more

This is a nice little coffee shop. As with many of the Stone Creek locations, there is not ample seating room inside the shop. That is always a frustration of mine for Stone Creek. However, the staff here is always very nice. Because of how small most Stone Creeks are, i never go there with the idea of tuckering down for a while. maybe I'll sip (slowly) my coffee while reading the paper, but usually this is a grab n go place for me. In the battle of best coffee in Milwaukee, Stone Creek wins. I enjoy the Milwaukee blend, but my favorite is Red Sky. I love their graphic design on their labels as well, so great. The service great. The baristas are super friendly. My perfect Milwaukee coffee shop would include baristas and coffee from Stone Creek, the Radio Head bagel sammich from Roast, and i would like to enjoy that all in an Alterra store. read more

I was glad to see this location was separate from the bagel shop next to it - at first the entry looks to be the same. It's definitely a smaller shop, but wasn't crowded. I wish I had more time in Milwaukee to try the cardamon latte! although, I wasn't disappointed with the lavender. The lavender had great flavor with a little bit of spice. I have never had a problem ordering a custom drink. For me, it is just too crowded and noisy to get any work done. I would rather go to Valentine coffee. I credit this coffee shop with making me like coffee. I have never enjoyed the bitter taste... until I spoke with the barista and was treated to a lesson in their brews, roasts, and methods. I ended up getting a medium roast Tanzania (which they do not have currently) pour over. Nowhere has been able to match it and I am resorting to spending money to prep it at home because I can't find anything as good. read more
