I don't love Starbucks and believe as a corporation they suck @$$ however I love my local community members who are employed by Starbucks at this location and give me the creamy brown sludge that fuels my mornings and keeps me from attacking everyone on my commute to work. Dirty and very loud (happy music) music. Also, the dirtiest bathroom I have seen in a Starbucks at 10 in the morning. This place has been here for a few years but seems to have been destroyed by the constant crowd that pushes through. This place seems to always be very busy. I had ordered twice the egg bites, once while waiting for my ride to pick me up, and again once my ride arrived. Both times I had to ask for a fork. The service person from behind the counter didn't even know where to find them and another employee pointed over in the area behind the ordering counter near the heating oven. It seems that a fork was to have been given with the hot order at the time it was placed on the counter. Nope, I had to get someone's attention in the busy place for a fork both times. And while waiting, I got to experience the filthy restroom. I will be back because I take my car for servicing across the street. I just called and spoke to Janet their Starbuck's manager. Janet said they don't have (outdoor seating at this location) because they have (limited space) in front of their Starbuck's Coffee Shop. Janet also said they do have (mobile online ordering) and (mobile pay service). Janet also told me to call the Starbuck's Coffee location on East Vista Way since that location has a (bigger patio area) where their customers can sit outside and drink their coffee. My closest location is at the College Boulevard area in Oceanside I will just go there instead. At least Janet did give me some options to chose from and that is good customer service. read more

This location has a high turn over of staff and due to that the drinks are never the same. I don't like giving poor reviews but my drinks have been incorrectly made one too many times. My drink is super simple and even then this was the third time of it being made incorrectly. I get an Earl grey with oat milk and I've had it made without the oat milk twice and this last time it was made with syrup which would be the London fog. read more

I'm bummed to have to say I'm disappointed in this location. I've been coming here for a while and I get the exact same drink each time. My order varies so much depending on which person makes it. I can come here every single day and each day my drink will be wildly different. Let me explain my order before you think I'm petty. I get an iced blonde Americano with a light splash of cream and three pumps of vanilla. Wordy? Maybe. Complicated? I don't believe so, but maybe it is. Before, I used to ask for light cream, but then my drink would be all cream and I felt like I was wasting my money. Once or twice I asked them to remake my drink because it was all cream and then finally I asked someone (who told me she's a manager) what the proper way to ask for my drink is since I end up with a drink drowning in cream. She said to ask for a light splash of cream instead of light cream. Okay, so I changed my wording because I wanted to make sure I did my part in being clear. Sometimes, this would work and sometimes it wouldn't (again, depending on the person making it). Today, I asked for a light splash of cream again and my drink was all cream. The nice woman at the window asked me if I'd like to have the drink remade, but I had to go to work and said no thank you. Honestly, I'd have to have my drink remade often and I don't want to be that person. I keep wanting to give them a chance and I like most of the people I have encountered here. I wish there was a bit more consistency in how drinks are made. I have to decide if it's worth going to this location again. Check out the picture of what the drink looks like. It's pretty light which means there is too much cream. A blonde Americano with a light splash of cream should be darker than this and certainly shouldn't taste like straight cream. That said, I tolerate Starbucks for its convenience and for that quick pick-me-up before I go on duty. This Starbucks, unfortunately, was the worst I have ever been to in the world, easily! Their employees are lacklustre, tardy and unprofessional. If you dare to glance behind the counter, cleanliness is not one of their strongest features and once you try one of their coffees (supposedly to Starbucks-standard regulations) it tastes worse than any Starbucks I have ever been to! I go to this location a lot and I really like how they make their iced coffee. It doesn't taste burnt like a bunch of other locations. Knocking of a couple stars because this happened: This morning I went inside to order a spinach feta egg white wrap to go. It came out super quick so I left and started driving to work and I planned to eat the wrap at work. About 10 minutes down the freeway I took a peek inside the bag and saw that it was a bagel, not a spinach feta egg white wrap. I wasn't super disappointed until I realized that it didn't come with cream cheese. I literally had to stop by Vons to get cream cheese because I didn't want to eat a dry bagel. The vibe is off when the manager, Meagan, is there. I've seen her reprimanding partners on the floor in front of other partners and customers. Not only that, but her thinly-veiled passive aggressive comments toward partners was off-putting. The other baristas there seem more than pleasant, but if that's how the manager is acting when there're customers in the cafe, I wouldn't be surprised if there's more stuff going on in store that customers can't see. This location has no business taking mobile orders when there is a long line in the drive thru. It took 25 minutes in the drive thru, and our coffee were cold. Yet, other Starbucks locations turn off mobile orders when they have like 2 customers. Very inconsistent and incompetent! I've been to so many Starbucks, some have been okay customer service but there is a guy by the name of JP (I asked for his name) he is the one on the speaker of the drive thru that will say something along like "what can I get for you today, oh that's awesome tell me more!" And he ends his order with "you are amazing get over here for your order!" But in such a way that makes me laugh in the morning, makes want to go to Starbucks just to hear him cheer me up, and helps me start my day with a good laugh. He has the best customer service I've ever experienced in my life. JP could really work in any industry with that personality of his. The drink quality is usually good. I go here often, so that's not the problem. The problem is that they operate on some schedule known only to them. Even though everything online will tell you they're open until 8/8:30 most days, that's not guaranteed. I live relatively close by and I see them closed on some unpredictable basis. I walked up once to find the lobby closed for training but drive through open, but I was on foot so that wasn't an option. I didn't bother getting explanations for the last three times they were randomly closed. I like the workers and I think they're doing a great job so no slight to them, it's just annoying to drive or walk all the way to this location just to find them closed for one reason or another. It's an inconvenient and unreliable location when it comes to hours so use this info as you will. read more

This is the closest Starbucks to my house and not every time but most times when me or my husband go the staff is plain rude, normally we just say whatever and move on but what got me this time was we decided to go later at night around 7:30-8 but saw they closed at 9 so we should've been fine we walked up and saw one employee and one other person who didn't look like an employee but possibly a friend sitting inside and tried to open the doors to see they were locked we looked at the sign which said they closed at 9 and as we tried to open it again the two individuals just stared at us and laughed, as they proceeded to do with two others who tried to walk up and go inside.
