Sorry, but this particular Starbucks used to have great customer service but now not so much. The barista didn't want to make a simple adjustment on my order and left out the flavored syrup that came with my drink. I would have sent it back but didn't discover it until after I left. I probably wouldn't had said anything were it not for the terrible attitude. This person acted like they didn't want to go out of their way to do their job or even be there. My family and I are here working Hometown Hero's and spent over $45 in this Starbucks! 30 mins after our purchase one of our kiddos needed to use the restroom! They refused to let our kiddo to use the restroom and told me I needed to make another purchase! Do better by your customers you see a struggling mom who's working and needs help do better by your community! You see an event going on for Hero's where there are families! I ordered an X-Large cold brew on the app & picked up in the store. Visalia is a cute, wonderful town and I love how downtown has grown with many restaurants, coffee shops and stores. The staff here is friendly! Everyone smiling and know their customers by name. It's the Cheers of Coffee places! My coffee was ready within 5 minutes and perfectly made. Didn't at all secure the lid on my coffee and had it literally explode and shower me and the interior of my car with hot liquid. Half my hand and up my arm scolded. "Oh, so sorry, sometimes that happens " is a horrible excuse, Starbucks. Won't be going back to this location. Went in a few days ago and the guy with the cornrows was extremely rude to a deaf customer! Worst part? He knows she's deaf and said she was a regular yet he was yelling and disrespectful towards her. Also he kept moving his mask touching his nose/mouth and continued making drinks! Friendly service. Clean restrooms. I guess the good thing about a "chain" is that it should be predictable? I don't like Starbucks/Teavana tea.. but at 6pm on a Sunday, you can't be picky. I suppose what I did find peculiar was that they had a code on the bathroom? I am not familiar with the area, but it didn't seem like the type of place where people would just wander in for the facilities. (Again -- just my observation). There's a short Mexican girl with black hair that's really rude. Not to mention she doesn't make coffee correctly. Maybe she didn't get enough training however her costumer service skills should make up but they are extremely underwhelming. 7:30 on Monday morning, the place was busy but to bad. Most people were waiting for their drinks. No one was ordering so our order was taken quickly. They were out of the sandwich we like to split so we got the bacon Gouda and 2 cups of coffee. We got the sandwiches first and had to wait for the coffee. When our coffees were ready mine was wrong almond milk instead of soy. They made it right and apologized for error. The sandwiches were hot and yummy, coffee was tasty but a little too hot to drink quickly. The store was clean and the location is right on the corner but no drive through. Every other morning sometimes afternoon I walk in and there's a tall pretty Hispanic Short hair . She remembers my drink that I always order. Show positive attitude and smile at customer after drink. I walk out with my coffee holding on my right hand. I sip my drink and it was PERFECT TASTSE I give her a 11 Always tastse great. Only in Afternoons. One time in the AM, there's a white older guy I ask for medium cup and say name it Coco Instead give me large cup and it don't taste right at all No flavor just straight black coffee. I love this Starbucks location. The Baristas are awesome and super nice. A few know me by name (probably because I go at least once a day during the week lol.) They are generally super fast too. 15 min for a cold tea that takes 2 seconds to pour over ice with only 3 customers there is just ridiculous. Starbucks needs to pay attention to things like that especially with Dutch bros and Dunkin Donut opening on every corner soon. I think twice now before going to starbucks. Absolutely horrendous service or lack of rather. I arrived at 9:44 a.m on Wednesday, 1/9/19. There were four people in front of me waiting for their orders and one person in a wheelchair waiting to order. There were three baristas working. One of them was very nice and we had a conversation about NFL and the sweatshirt I was wearing. I used to rave about Starbucks, until they started to build one on every corner, and thus hire anyone who walks through their door as a barista. Not everyone can pull espresso shots, folks! Nowadays, it's a crap shoot - I figure I have a 50% chance of getting a good $4 cup of coffee. That's not good in my book. I've come to prefer Peets, or would even rather try a locally owned shop before attempting the nearest Starbucks. This Starbucks breaks that trend. I visit this Starbucks every time I come to Visalia, and I have NEVER had a bad cup of coffee here. The baristas are friendly and act like they're HAPPY to be there - go figure. Someone at Starbucks should tap this store's manager for insight, and maybe fly their baristas around to do some REAL training on how to make a good cup of coffee! Shaundel is the best barista. She's super friendly and always makes my drink exactly how I want it. Even when I'm uncertain she'll give me recommendations or just throw her own twist on things. It always comes out good. Just yesterday, I went in with my nephew and he ordered a trenta Mango Dragonfruit refresher and she made it in a grande cup, but she was super quick to correct it and even said I could keep the first one as she quickly remade a trenta. She even offered to let me sample the Pink Drink, because I was telling her how I had never tried it. She's really nice and always gives great customer service! Now for the location, it's right in the middle of downtown which is perfect. Pretty close to my home. I wish it had a drive thru because it's always hard to find parking, but other than that I don't mind getting off. read more

Would not come here again, horrible service. The tea that we ordered tasted like water with sugar. My boyfriend went and asked one of the ladys' working if she can make the tea stronger and she gave him a funny look. The tea we received the second time wasn't any better. Bathroom has a code so you would have to ask one of the baristas for the code. read more

Had a horrible pick up experience, I ordered my drinks via the mobile app, had a co-worker pick them up on break where she was handed one drink out of two then waited almost ten minutes until asking for the second drink, she was then handed drinks that read the correct name but were nothing close to what we ordered with time running out she came back to tell me that I must've placed the order wrong. When I called to figure out what happened a man continued to argue with me about how my co-worker took someone else's drinks after saying he handed her the right ones. This Starbucks while friendly and clean most of the time needs more help! Came in at 4pm on Tuesday 7/3 and there were only two people working. A cashier and one barista. There are currently 6 people in line waiting to order and 12 people waiting for drinks. This is not the service Starbucks promises as a brand and a huge disappointment. Waited in line and after a few seconds, the cashier gave me the code even though she was busy with a customer. Went inside the restroom and it was not very clean.
