It was just the right amount of sweet, a good caffeine kick and adorable too. My kid got the sprinkle cookie and it was yum! We wanted a croissant but they were out at around 10:15 on a Saturday! The workers were so so kind, I had no idea what the coffee was called that I wanted and they helped me out! so delicious! the apricot toast came with cream cheese, apricot jam, and chopped pistachios. it was an amazing combination. it wasn't too sweet but it still was a sweet treat to start off my morning! however, i don't think that it is worth $7. the shop was filled with people, which surprised me as it was a weekday. this might be normal for this shop but i typically don't see this at other coffee shops i've been to. when i saw how busy it was, i knew this spot would be good! i came here to study. surprisingly the sound of everyone socializing wasn't a terrible distraction. beware that there are outlets to charge but not many! read more

It's a cold brew coffee with pistachio syrup & a creamy pistachio milk foam top that makes this The Fog. Tasty. Not very sweet, but it's creamy & flavorful. I also ordered a plain croissant. This is my go to study location! There's plenty of seating of various kinds, so it's a great place to study, meet up with friends, etc. The drinks are decent, I mostly get iced green tea with a different syrup each time. They also have pastries and cookies from another local shop called Bread Savage, and the lemon cookie was everything I want from a cookie! Unfortunately when studying last week, I realized after an hour that there was a dead cockroach by my foot, but cockroaches are common in this area, hopefully they aren't in the kitchen. Also, there's only one trash can in the whole place and it's by the front counter, I think they could use a second trash can by the door so people can throw away their trash on their way out. read more

Fantastic coffee shop and glad there's another good option in the area. I enjoy Visalia and try to make my way out there at least every few months. You can find this gem right off Main Street where are all the shops are. Its visually appealing exterior caught my attention. This is also tied to the Rescue Mission which is an amazing non-profit organization that helps the less fortunate. The interior is even more beautiful with high ceilings, bright and airy feel, nice furniture and color palette. You just want to hang out here. Their thrift boutique is adjacent to the coffee shop and can be entered through the dining area. Love that they have 3 sugar free syrups: caramel, vanilla and lavender. I opted for the iced matcha latte with almond milk and sugar free lavender. It was exceptional. The pistachio latte, albeit very sweet was still good and I enjoyed the flavor profile. They bake their cookies while also selling from a local bakery down the street. (Bread Savage) The lemon cookie was super delicious. Tasted like a lemon bar. Mission coffee is the best! Coffee is delicious, staff is friendly and bubbly, and there is ample seating. My favorite seat is right in front of the window. Huge plus on the sugar free options, especially sugar free fog top! The best! They have tasty cookies and croissants. I love the vibe here, and the music isn't too loud. Reading here was comfortable. I hardly visit Visalia but I was craving a coffee while waiting for my sisters appointment to start. This one was within walking distance so we said why not. Beautifully decorated and cozy bu enough for students or anyone to hang out. We got greeted soon as we walked in and the barista let us know if we had any questions and pointed towards the menu. For the lemonade you get to choose what flavor you want and my sister went with strawberry. I went with the vanilla latte with hazelnut and caramel. I absolutely loved my coffee, smooth and rich and none of that after taste bitterness. I'll probably cut back on the shots as it was a bit sweet. Wow! My first time checking out the new coffee place in town, in the building that was once The Lunchbox. Visalia Rescue Mission took this place over a few years back and used both the Main St space and the back (Court Street) space for a used clothing store. There is a ton of seating - bar table, several wooden tables with 2 or more chairs as well as a setup with tall back fabric chairs. They have many custom drinks but I opted for my standard iced latte with almond milk. They were even able to do decaf. Food offerings included a few different kinds of coffees as well as a trio of bagel choices. I opted for a jalapeño cheddar. The crowd was a mix of college students studying, families and middle aged ladies enjoying coffee with their friends. The baristas were respectful and fast. Found a great new coffee spot. read more

This was my first time coming to Misson coffee here in Visalia! The cafe is so spacious with an abundance of seating and was fairly calm on a Wednesday morning. I ordered the once in a blue moon latte not knowing what to fully expect. Overall it's a beautiful drink and so different from what I've seen. First thing I notice and love about this spot is it is prime downtown. Being a 'Visalian', I think that's a thing, anyway. I love our downtown. There has been so much growth and expansion. This spot is right there in the middle. The second I walked in I loved the feel of the spot. The decor is very cute, the vibe is very chill and the art work on the walls? For sale! It's such a fun idea. I also love how they pay homage to the Central Valley roots. The cute drink names and descriptions. You have the basics, the gentle tones of the pistachio in a valley fog or the honey of the Bees Knees. The staff is extremely friendly, the drinks are cool and coffee for a cause? Who doesn't love that. Mission coffee, as in Visalia Rescue Mission. A cause that's well known in our community to help aid with hunger, homelessness and addictions. You don't have to be a person of great faith just because this place is faith based. They are welcoming, cozy, and some comfy chairs. The cutest and sweetest coffee shop ever. Me and my friend came two days in a row bc we couldn't get enough. Everything about this place is so warm and welcoming, the staff are all so kind, and the atmosphere is just calming. On day one we tried the Bee's Knees and the Grove lattes, both insanely yummy! And today we came back and tried the blossom trail lattes (one with regular milk and the other with oat milk), and this one might just be our favorite!!
