Once in a blue moo Sprinkle cookie
    Zoe G.

This cute coffee shop tucked away near downtown was the best stop to grab a coffee with some mom friends! I saw on their socials they had a blue coffee and had to get it, and it did not disappoint. It was just the right amount of sweet, a good caffeine kick and adorable too. My kid got the sprinkle cookie and it was yum! We wanted a croissant but they were out at around 10:15 on a Saturday! The workers were so so kind, I had no idea what the coffee was called that I wanted and they helped me out! I'll definitely be back, lots of space to sit with friends or family nice and quiet and friendly.

This is my go to study location! There's plenty of seating of various kinds, so it's a great place to study, meet up with friends, etc. The drinks are decent, I mostly get iced green tea with a different syrup each time. They also have pastries and cookies from another local shop called Bread Savage, and the lemon cookie was everything I want from a cookie! Unfortunately when studying last week, I realized after an hour that there was a dead cockroach by my foot, but cockroaches are common in this area, hopefully they aren't in the kitchen. Also, there's only one trash can in the whole place and it's by the front counter, I think they could use a second trash can by the door so people can throw away their trash on their way out.

Fantastic coffee shop and glad there's another good option in the area. I enjoy Visalia and try to make my way out there at least every few months. You can find this gem right off Main Street where are all the shops are. Its visually appealing exterior caught my attention. This is also tied to the Rescue Mission which is an amazing non-profit organization that helps the less fortunate. The interior is even more beautiful with high ceilings, bright and airy feel, nice furniture and color palette. You just want to hang out here. Their thrift boutique is adjacent to the coffee shop and can be entered through the dining area. Love that they have 3 sugar free syrups: caramel, vanilla and lavender. I opted for the iced matcha latte with almond milk and sugar free lavender. It was exceptional. The pistachio latte, albeit very sweet was still good and I enjoyed the flavor profile. They bake their cookies while also selling from a local bakery down the street. (Bread Savage) The lemon cookie was super delicious. Tasted like a lemon bar. If I was more hungry I would try more items. If you're in the area, I recommend to stop by. The quality is notable and you'll be supporting their Mission-driven cause.

This is a beautiful coffee shop with proceeds that go to charity. Its located right in the heart of Downtown Visalia. I am a tea drinker, and there was a great selection. My husband enjoyed his mocha latte. This is a fun and eclectic spot. The service was great. I'd definitely stop in again.

I would have posted a pic of my food and coffee but I ate it too fast so instead you get to see the after.

Ordered my food and drink online, so easy. Food was done and ready for pickup exactly when they said it would be. You can pull up and park right in front on Court St. and run in because they have reserved parking just for pick up orders. The Avocado Toast is delish and my coffee is always a 10/10. And knowing that a portion of my money goes to support the Rescue Mission makes coming here even better.

This coffee is bomb! The service is great! The ambiance is welcoming. There is a sofa and big chairs for lounging. People are here studying, working, and just enjoying coffee. For bevs we ordered the once upon a blue moo (5/5), the bees knees (5/5), and a chai latte with vanilla cold foam (5/5). We also snagged a salted butterscotch cookie (5/5) and a chocolate chip cookie (5/5). They also sell cute stickers, cups, accessories, etc.

Oooooo! Support local:) Love love love! We headed to this place to try something different before we hit our hike and I was very impressed. The cashier did not rush us and made us feel welcomed. Handed us the menu and went over the faves and also recommended their seasonal drinks as well. The entirety of the coffee shop was clean. The lighting was bright and welcoming. They have books and board games. Plenty of seating so if you wanted to do homework or study it should be no problem. The drinks- we got the valley fog and once in a blue moo. Very delish and the caffeine hit which is also important. Will be back!

Mission coffee is the best! Coffee is delicious, staff is friendly and bubbly, and there is ample seating. My favorite seat is right in front of the window. Huge plus on the sugar free options, especially sugar free fog top! The best! They have tasty cookies and croissants. I love the vibe here, and the music isn't too loud. Reading here was comfortable. I'd love to try their seasonal drinks. They all sounded so good. I will definitely be back. Coming really early is also a good idea if you want some quiet time. Thanks, Mission Coffee!

Ambiance is cool, very relaxed, faith based and old time vibes with all the vintage influences in the decor along with the thrift store there.. has become a favorite spot of mine on a quiet weekday morning. Coffee and the different types of toasts never disappoint. Yummy!

I found this place on Yelp with a high review so I wanted to give it a try. It definitely lived up to its high review. The staff was friendly and even had a nice chat with the owner! The place was bigger than I thought it would be and felt so calm. What I also loved about it was that they help out the local men's mission. I don't often see anything like that offered by a coffee shop. I could see where they get the name! My drink was tasty and unique. It made me think of Christmas and also camping.

I hardly visit Visalia but I was craving a coffee while waiting for my sisters appointment to start. This one was within walking distance so we said why not. Beautifully decorated and cozy bu enough for students or anyone to hang out. We got greeted soon as we walked in and the barista let us know if we had any questions and pointed towards the menu. For the lemonade you get to choose what flavor you want and my sister went with strawberry. I went with the vanilla latte with hazelnut and caramel. I absolutely loved my coffee, smooth and rich and none of that after taste bitterness. I'll probably cut back on the shots as it was a bit sweet. You also get the option for a 12 oz 16 oz and I forgot the last one. My sister loved her lemonade, let's just say, she inhaled it. Def recommend this place. Great customer service and drinks

What a cool spot right next to the Convention Center. Their vibe is a local hip and trendy coffee shop, with books, merch, and little bobbles for sale. Plenty of seating and big windows make this a comfortable spot to grab a cup and stay a while. QR codes are placed around the area to make ordering online easy, as well as interacting with various adverts they have. I ordered the pistachio cold brew with cream. I was hoping for some food with protein options, but they're more of a pastry spot. The coffee came with their valley fog topping which is sweet but not too sweet. It's a great coffee and I'll get it again. If you're at the convention center and not interested in Starbucks, come on by!

Great coffee and great service! There are plenty of tables to do work and/ hang out. I really enjoy that the drinks offered are different. Haven't ordered anything that I did not like yet.

Over the summer, I've frequented scoops as the location and atmosphere are unique and fun. It is in a great spot, and has friendly staff behind the counter. Unfortunately, the ice cream itself is intensely unremarkable. Flavors at Scoops are either minimally flavored creamy milk or absolute hydrogen sugar bombs. There is no in between. I did enjoy one flavor, but I inquired the scooper if they made it in house but was disappointed to learn it was one of their imported flavors. Additionally, the dirty sodas are not so dirty. They are simply overpriced sodas. Moreover, the staff is helpful and prompt, but management fails to realize that a single scooper for a busy night sours the experience for all. Long lines and wait times are easy to build up especially when the more involved items are being ordered. A few times I've heard some people tell the scoopers that they know the owner, at which I've questioned the point. Odd. Speaking on owners, of the times I've visited Scoops I've seen them once. His contribution was yelling at his scoopers. It created an awkward environment and longer wait times. For being vocal and seemingly involved in their community, I expected the owners to be more involved and professional. Poor scoopers. Scoops has potential, yet the atmosphere and friendly staff are hindered by mediocre ice cream and incompetent upper management.

I've definitely been coming here since the beginning, thanks to my mom! It's stood out from the very beginning & I love how much they have expanded. There's something for everyone on their men. You find it because someone told you about it, or because you were looking for a place that feels a little more city than Central Valley. Brick walls, hanging art, a patio out front call it rustic, call it urban, call it hipster. Whatever the word is, it fits. Inside, the place hums. Not the quiet hum of a sleepy café, but the full‑volume buzz of people who treat coffee shops like co‑working spaces. The whole back section was a sea of laptops when I walked in, a slow tide of remote workers drifting out as the hour passed. Young folks, older folks, groups talking over each other a mix that tells you this spot has become a kind of community hub, even if the noise makes it hard to read without noise‑canceling buds. I came for a simple moment, a London Fog and a book. The tea was good, made with Rishi, a brand I'd never heard of but wouldn't mind trying again. I sipped it slowly, trying to sink into the page, but the chatter kept pulling me back to the room. Not a bad thing, just not the right place for quiet reflection. Some cafés are built for solitude; this one is built for motion. The staff was friendly, your standard modern barista crew, casual, quick, and easygoing. They run a tight operation, even offering mobile orders, something you usually see in bigger industrial coffee spots. Pastries, sandwiches, teas, espresso, the menu covers all the bases. Finding the entrance was its own adventure. Two doors, a divider in the middle, and a moment of "Wait... which side do I go through?" Not a dealbreaker, just one of those quirks that makes you laugh once you figure it out. Lighting is interesting here, low lamps mixed with a flood of natural light pouring in from the center of the shop. It gives the place a warm‑meets‑industrial feel, like a café that grew out of a warehouse and decided to keep the personality. Will I come back? Maybe. It's a great spot for people‑watching, conversation, or getting work done. But for reading, for sinking into a book with a drink, it's a place that demands either silence from the world or silence from your earbuds. Component Coffee Lab is loud, lively, and loved, just not quiet. And maybe that's the point.
