Had a delicious cinnamon latte ( can't remember the actual name) and the LAST piece of the banana cake, so I lucked out.

Awesome drinks and drink options.. their coconut Vietnamese latte was soooo good... and so was their Matcha. Indoor and outdoor seating and a cozy vibe. There was only person there slinging all the drinks- she did a darn good job and super nice. Of course because there is only one person, there was a bit of a wait for drinks. But totally worth it.

Iced pistachio latte was perfect, barista was very friendly and accommodating, I'm always stoked when a coffee spot has the "good" ice (not a sweet lover and special order very little syrup) I will be back when I visit Visalia again

Fun spot. I like that they roast their own coffee. Great customer service too!! Chill spot to stop along my way up California!

The coffee is so smooth. I took my coworkers back for an afternoon treat and they were both happy. The shop is nice and the service was very good and both baristas were knowledgeable and friendly!!! I will definitely be back when I can sit and enjoy the ambiance!

First time trying Mavericks. Very pleased with the two items I got. The bar is super good, cream cheese frosting! The matcha was not too pistachio flavored...good ratio of vanilla and matcha as well. Give this place a shot!

    Super dirty :/

I enjoy supporting local businesses, but Mavericks has always been hit or miss for me. I went in this week with a laptop to do some work. Their wifi is excellent, which can be hard to find at coffee shops! However, the coffee tasted a little burnt. But I've had good Mavericks coffee before, so maybe it was just an off day. The big turn off for me was the state of the shop itself. I like to do work in coffee shops for the music, ambience, and cleanliness. However, the baseboards were just caked with dirt. Photo for reference. This was right next to my chair. :( I will continue to support Mavericks, but I was just a little disappointed, and frankly...a little grossed out, by the lack of cleanliness this week.

Roaster in store...gotta love fresh, real coffee.

I am concerned about the management here. It seems the quality may not be up to par. We went in when they were roasting and it smelled like burnt popcorn. It wasn't being turned as it roasted leaving it to be damaged by scorch. Not sure what it will take to revive this spot, I would love to see it thrive as it has potential. They do offer organic coffee, I would love to see the revenue spike. The taste for coffee isn't what it should be.

Such great coffee here! Midnight ride is a favorite roast. The service is quick, the seating is inviting, and it's always a lovely time.

I've definitely been coming here since the beginning, thanks to my mom! It's stood out from the very beginning & I love how much they have expanded. There's something for everyone on their men. I think they have some of the best matcha's around (but if you drink your matcha with LOTS of sweetener.. you probably won't like a real matcha from here) -- I say this bc people complain that it taste like GRASS... and well, it damn near is (green tea leaves) lol -- all jokes aside, their drinks and food are all hand crafted and all made and / or roasted in house! I have not once ever had a complaint about this place. I love the ambience inside and out. Plenty of spaces to work from (one of my fav spots) Service is always ask expected for hand crafted drinks and food! The workers are always very knowledgeable about their menu items & products, love that! Their pop tarts... if you can get them when they have them.. TRY THEM OUT!! Actually, all their pastry's and breakfast items are delicious! (I just always forget to take pictures) haha I will always come here for food/homemade pastries , a drink or to work!

You find it because someone told you about it, or because you were looking for a place that feels a little more city than Central Valley. Brick walls, hanging art, a patio out front call it rustic, call it urban, call it hipster. Whatever the word is, it fits. Inside, the place hums. Not the quiet hum of a sleepy café, but the full‑volume buzz of people who treat coffee shops like co‑working spaces. The whole back section was a sea of laptops when I walked in, a slow tide of remote workers drifting out as the hour passed. Young folks, older folks, groups talking over each other a mix that tells you this spot has become a kind of community hub, even if the noise makes it hard to read without noise‑canceling buds. I came for a simple moment, a London Fog and a book. The tea was good, made with Rishi, a brand I'd never heard of but wouldn't mind trying again. I sipped it slowly, trying to sink into the page, but the chatter kept pulling me back to the room. Not a bad thing, just not the right place for quiet reflection. Some cafés are built for solitude; this one is built for motion. The staff was friendly, your standard modern barista crew, casual, quick, and easygoing. They run a tight operation, even offering mobile orders, something you usually see in bigger industrial coffee spots. Pastries, sandwiches, teas, espresso, the menu covers all the bases. Finding the entrance was its own adventure. Two doors, a divider in the middle, and a moment of "Wait... which side do I go through?" Not a dealbreaker, just one of those quirks that makes you laugh once you figure it out. Lighting is interesting here, low lamps mixed with a flood of natural light pouring in from the center of the shop. It gives the place a warm‑meets‑industrial feel, like a café that grew out of a warehouse and decided to keep the personality. Will I come back? Maybe. It's a great spot for people‑watching, conversation, or getting work done. But for reading, for sinking into a book with a drink, it's a place that demands either silence from the world or silence from your earbuds. Component Coffee Lab is loud, lively, and loved, just not quiet. And maybe that's the point.

I finally decided to stop in with my 5 y/o son. The outside decor and ambiance were adorable and the merchandise had fun designs. Unfortunately, the interaction with the owner completely changed the experience. He seemed irritated from the moment I ordered a hot chocolate for my son, correcting me in a rude and dismissive tone that it was "hot cocoa" and annoyedly asking how many I wanted. I said one and then asked if they had a menu so I could see what type of coffee they offered. That simple question also seemed to frustrate him and he dismissively responded, "It's just coffee," while shaking his head. His overall tone came across as arrogant, annoyed, and dismissive over normal questions, which made the interaction uncomfortable. I was shocked by the attitude, especially from a business owner. Maybe he was having a bad day, and I do see many positive reviews, but I also noticed other reviews mentioning similar experiences with the owner. It's disappointing because we were really looking forward to trying this place. I ended up saying never mind and leaving. My son didn't understand why we walked out without getting what we came for and I explained that I didn't want to support a business where customers are treated rudely. I truly hope the owner is doing okay and is able to treat customers more respectfully in the future because it seems like there's a great product behind the business. Unfortunately, I never got the chance to try it.
