Awesome drinks and drink options.. their coconut Vietnamese latte was soooo good... and so was their Matcha. Indoor and outdoor seating and a cozy vibe. There was only person there slinging all the drinks- she did a darn good job and super nice. Of course because there is only one person, there was a bit of a wait for drinks. But totally worth it.

Iced pistachio latte was perfect, barista was very friendly and accommodating, I'm always stoked when a coffee spot has the "good" ice (not a sweet lover and special order very little syrup) I will be back when I visit Visalia again

Fun spot. I like that they roast their own coffee. Great customer service too!! Chill spot to stop along my way up California!

The coffee is so smooth. I took my coworkers back for an afternoon treat and they were both happy. The shop is nice and the service was very good and both baristas were knowledgeable and friendly!!! I will definitely be back when I can sit and enjoy the ambiance!

First time trying Mavericks. Very pleased with the two items I got. The bar is super good, cream cheese frosting! The matcha was not too pistachio flavored...good ratio of vanilla and matcha as well. Give this place a shot!

    Super dirty :/

I enjoy supporting local businesses, but Mavericks has always been hit or miss for me. I went in this week with a laptop to do some work. Their wifi is excellent, which can be hard to find at coffee shops! However, the coffee tasted a little burnt. But I've had good Mavericks coffee before, so maybe it was just an off day. The big turn off for me was the state of the shop itself. I like to do work in coffee shops for the music, ambience, and cleanliness. However, the baseboards were just caked with dirt. Photo for reference. This was right next to my chair. :( I will continue to support Mavericks, but I was just a little disappointed, and frankly...a little grossed out, by the lack of cleanliness this week.

Roaster in store...gotta love fresh, real coffee.

I am concerned about the management here. It seems the quality may not be up to par. We went in when they were roasting and it smelled like burnt popcorn. It wasn't being turned as it roasted leaving it to be damaged by scorch. Not sure what it will take to revive this spot, I would love to see it thrive as it has potential. They do offer organic coffee, I would love to see the revenue spike. The taste for coffee isn't what it should be.

Such great coffee here! Midnight ride is a favorite roast. The service is quick, the seating is inviting, and it's always a lovely time.

It's pretty big overall and I just love that for the area. Got a cold brew, a short bread cookie matcha latte and a brown butter chocolate chip cookie. All were pretty great. The cookie was the best. I haven't had such a soft cookie given to me at an establishment in a long while. It was a great surprise. The latte was well balanced. Wasn't too sweet and I could taste everything they said was in it. Liked it quite a bit. Fiancé liked his cold brew as well, he was glad he got a large. Service was great! Everyone was nice and answered all our questions. Will try and come here more often!

The space is actually one of their biggest strengths there's a lot of seating, plenty of room to bring your laptop and work remotely, and areas where people can gather. It's also connected to a church, so it definitely leans into that community-centered atmosphere. Unfortunately, after going back 3-4 times hoping my experience would improve, the coffee has been consistently disappointing. It tastes burnt and weak at the same time like warm water with sugar. There barely seems to be any real espresso in the drinks. On more than one occasion, I've taken several sips hoping it would get better... and ended up throwing the whole drink away because it was just that bad. That's honestly frustrating, especially when you're paying for specialty coffee. The only drink I've actually enjoyed there is the pumpkin spice latte, that one was solid.

This place has good beans as I taste coffee very smooth and thick. It is a little cozy place and very iconic. I saw people taking pictures there. After all I would go back for another cup of coffee

The store itself is small and not much room for a line. I tried the cardamom vanilla latte and asked for it less sweet. It was really good with just the right amount of sweetness to spice. However, my friend had never been here before and ordered a cubano which she didn't realize was so small. She couldn't believe how small the cup was and it was way too sweet. Unfortunately, when we went back up to the counter to try and exchange it for something else we feel we didn't get the best service. They eventually gave my friend some milk foam to mix it with to tone it down, but she was overall unhappy with her experience. I know the menu probably described what she was ordering but since it was her first time there, she was a little overwhelmed with the menu and could have used some guidance. Also my other friend asked about getting a certain coffee and felt talked down to from the woman at the register like she was an idiot. She says it is not the first time this woman has been rude, as she has been here before and had the same rude service. It is too bad, because overall this place has good coffee and a cute ambience in the back patio, but with the consistently poor service we won't be back.

It is decorated cute from the outside, but the inside is like a shack. they have merchandise to purchase but everything is dusty. We were greeted by the dog who was sweet, but the man working there pretty much told us to be careful when petting him because he may turn on us... When we entered, i did not feel welcome. The man working made me feel uncomfortable. When i asked if he had a menu, he said he had been doing this 36 years without a menu. fine. so we said we wanted something iced. He didn't tell us anything about our bean options, just picked some beans out of a glass jar and disappeared for 10 minutes. He finally came back with ONE coffee even though 5 of us were standing there. We asked if we could get three more iced coffees like that, and he said that was elder abuse because we waited until after he returned to ask for 3 more. So he disappears again, and we hear him using an ax or hammer to get the ice. Then my friend asked for sugar and again he made it a big ordeal. He said she had to follow him into his home for the sugar. When she entered the home, he said my wife is going to be mad at you for waking her up. So we finally get the sugar and pay. The coffee is okay but he put way too much cream. One coffee had a bug and two had a hair (possibly a dog hair or because he gets his ice from a painters bucket). Maybe it's better when a different employee is there but this was like a living nightmare i couldn't wait to get out of there and i kept one foot out the door at all times so i could run.
