Ben Maddox is my favorite location and I would give a 5 star review for the baristas. This review is for the District Manager, Manager and owners. Your great employees are leaving one by one and that's on the management with each departure comes risk it's the customers who make you money and part of that is the experience of interacting with your employees so when a good one leaves the quality of the experience decreases! Very impressed with both the product and customer service at this location! The female barista had enthusiasm, and made several insightful product recommendations from the mineral water options to the hot & cold espresso offerings. The location looks like it's new, and strictly set up for drive-thru function. I didn't mind the drive-thru option, yet there was plenty of parking should this change to eat-in (although this is doubtful, unless the building expands). 4 stars for their breakfast items! But the drinks can use some work! These Sammie's have some remarkable flavor! They've gotten smaller, they cost a lot, but they sure are damn good! If the drinks here could only taste less watered down, we would be in some serious business! The sausage and egg biscuit has some sort of jalapeño in it "the cheese or the biscuit itself", I fell in love! It was soooo good! My wife got the sausage and egg in a waffle, definitely needs something sweet like syrup or honey butter to balance it but overall, another win! Skip the drinks and come for the breakfast Sammie's! Wow. I am super impressed with the Human Bean. The quality of the coffee was pretty exceptional, the amount of sugar is not too sweet unlike Dutch Bros or Starbucks, and is perfect. My family didn't feel like we were drinking a whole meals worth of calories, unlike with the other coffee places. The lady who took our order was immediately available and friendly but professional as well. The chocolate espresso bean on top was a delightful touch. read more

First, second and third time here I absolutely loved it! I consistently ordered the same drink because it was THAT good. On this visit; we ordered 4 of the same drink, same size and all. These drinks were poorly made. Inconsistency is not the key for good coffee! The ladies working are usually very sweet and helpful. But the service is not consistent either... Once arrived at 7:58pm (didn't know they closed at 8pm) and we could not be helped. So we didn't even order this time. I haven't been back! This location is hit or miss. It does seem though the wait time is unusually longer than the Caldwell location. I am an HB fan, been going since 2015 in Colorado so I was excited when they opened a couple years ago and began popping up around town. The Ben Maddox one is closer to my house, but think until the service gets more efficient I will make the longer drive across town. Friendly staff, just not quick-- seems they have less staff working. And sometimes the orders aren't right. read more

Hands down the best coffee shop around. Everything we have tried has been delicious. They also carry Dana's Cookie's which are super good. They have everything from coffee, energy drinks, hot chocolate and even kids drinks. The rewards program is awesome. I look for a Human Bean everywhere I travel and try them all. Don't come here...go back to Starbucks rude customer service that treat you differently and lie about their service. They give you a incorrect drink that you didn't order and then lie about it when you question it. I know what I order I order the same thing 20oz Carmel Hazelnut Mocha Blended with Carmel drizzle. I sent a Facebook message and basically was told I received my correct drink that I used my birthday rewards on like that was a insult. I was giving a regular 16oz granita not my 20oz Carmel hazelnut mocha blended with almond milk but I'm in the wrong. The girl at the window didn't take my order the other girl did but she was mad I wanted what I ordered and kept asking me what I ordered and laughed in my face. I'm from Ventura county and there we don't have any coffee spots that are as good as this place. I would drive up all the time to get a Dutch bros but my cousin introduced me to this place and instantly fell in love, the mexi mocha is by far my favorite drink there! The service is always super good, the servers are always super nice and always ready to answer any question I might have. Really wish there was one in Ventura county. read more

Ok I really had to consider how many stars I would give this joint. The costumer service and wait time was on point, Not the issue at all. This morning my mom, brother and I went to grab a coffee. We ordered a green tea smoothie a regular hot brewed coffee and an iced latte. The green tea was delicious totally what my brother had been looking for. My regular hot brewed coffee was lukewarm at best. I think I urinate at a higher temperature than the coffee was served. My mom's coffee tasted awful! To quote her description " this taste like pinto bean water." So usually this place is my families go to coffee spot and this was my first time trying this place.....bad first impression guys. We will be back but hope for better quality coffee next time. read more
