    Iced strawberry matcha

Connect Coffee recently opened and this might be my new go to study spot in Visalia. This cafe is located at the Commons and there was a massive parking lot. The staff were very friendly and they were more than willing to explain and recommend the seasonal drinks. There was also a display with baked goods. It took about 10 minutes for my pastry and drink to be completed. The interior was spacious and there was comfortable furniture and outlets all around. There was some chatter throughout the cafe but it was still relatively quiet enough where it was easy to be productive. *Coffee Cake: a bit dry and flavorless. There was little sweetness and spice so this tasted like a brick. I hope their other pastries fare better. *Iced Strawberry Matcha: the strawberry component was sweet and fruity and I wished there was more in my beverage. The matcha quality was mediocre and skewed more towards the milk. The beverage felt a bit small and expensive for a large. I hope they opt for more a richer matcha ratio in the future. Although not perfect, their matcha fared better than other in Visalia. This was a 3.5 stars experience but because the study space and service was so pleasant, I rounded up. I hope that they improve with their baked goods and beverages in order to be competitive with other cafes in Visalia.

This is the best coffee shop I've been to. The ambiance is so wonderful, it's very spacious with lots of seating both inside and outside. The decor is wonderful and cozy, there always seems to be fresh flowers on the tables. I've tried a new iced coffee each time and the drinks have always tasted perfect, with perfect ratios of milk, syrup, and espresso. They are always playing wonderful music ranging from the 70s-90s, and it's lightly played to be relaxing background music. The staff have been nothing but nice to me when ordering. Their bagels are very crispy and yummy too! This is the perfect place for a Sunday reset, homework, a date, a book club meeting, or catching up with friends. The vibes are nothing but warm here. It's very cozy and it makes me want to read books here for hours!

My coffee was super tasty. But who were they serving? I'm a coffee drinker.. not a toddler. I WAS NOT feeling the sizes of the coffee - but the staff was super friendly. The baked goods.. nom nom Nom nom nom.. good good good The decor was giving good energy. They also have outdoor seating. Would I return? Yes. Do I recommend ? Yes

Review is based on two visits. Connect coffee is becoming my new fav study spot in Visalia! There's a lot of indoor and outdoors door seating with outlets and WiFi. Prices for drinks and food are affordable. Food and drinks tastes okay. Your typical latte! Strawberry matcha was interesting - strawberry foam tasted like nesquik strawberry milk powder and not much matcha flavor. They warm up your food here which is a plus. Chocolate croissant was decent. Lemon poppy seed muffin was very dry. I come here for the purpose of studying so the food doesn't bother me much. It's a great place to hangout and chat. Staff on both occasions have been friendly.

Connect Coffee is a fun, modern coffee shop with plenty of space to hang out or get work done. When we arrived, there were some people taking drinks to-go, people chatting, while others were studying or working quietly. The atmosphere really worked for both. I tried the Strawberry Matcha from the Summer Drink Menu, and I absolutely loved it. I can't believe it's seasonal! I really hope they make it a permanent item.

I love me a coffee shop. I was excited to see this one open up. The inside was a good size that offered a LOT of seating. The service was okay. Not very friendly especially for a coffee shop connected to a church. BUT the coffees and pastries were great! I tried the iced chai and the strawberry matcha both were great especially the strawberry matcha. For pastries we tried the brownie, jalapeño bagel and the cinnamon walnut coffee cake. one of the best coffee cakes i had. So soft ! the bagels were soft too! just not enough cream cheese in my opinion. The music they played was very mainstream which was suprising as well. I would def come back if in the are as this is more northern part of visalia. :)

Saw a sign for this new coffee shop and took a chance to visit. It did not disappoint. The matcha was delicious and so was the iced mocha was great, we did order ours half sweet as we don't like our drinks overly sweetened. Chocolate croissant was perfect. The lemon poppy muffin was great. The staff and service was 5 stars. Friendly and kind. The atmosphere is relaxing and beautiful. We will definitely be back. Thanks!

lavender london fog matcha & espresso tonic

this is the second time we've come & it's just not very good. the espresso tonic is so acidic & just not what we were looking for. the matcha was okay. it was not sweet enough, too watery, & it didn't have matcha flavor. the service has always been good & the food is good too. the drinks tho? i don't know just not what we're looking for when it comes coffee.

    Strawberry Matcha Latte

Very friendly staff, ambiance was very nice students are studying and people are having conversations, overall it feels very inviting and cozy. Strawberry Matcha latte was on the sweeter side but very yummy!

I know I didn't have to say "Pan Dulce" but I like saying it and you should too! It's not often you stop at a wonderful Bakery like this. The people are all so friendly, inviting and helpful. Yes some are fluent in Spanish only and that's ok, it really brings extra charm to the place. Every bread, cookie, donut you taste from here is being made with love and recipes dating back years and lifetimes. We finally stopped by and the truck was Open! They have a food truck where they make breakfast and lunch items. They had an Asada Burrito, "which can be made as a breakfast burrito", but I opted for the lunch version. The nice girl taking my order spoke more Spanish than English but I managed to understand "Con Todo" meaning "with everything", that comes with (beans, rice, cabbage, onions, cilantro). It was just ok. The meat really didn't have flavor, nor did the rice and beans. I tasted more cabbage than anything. The salsas were good, it just wasn't enough to carry the overall flavor of the burrito. I would suggest absolutely getting some pastries from here. They have a wide selection and you grab yourself a pan and some tongs at the entrance and have at it. The taco truck I would suggest maybe trying breakfast over lunch, but again my taste buds might differ from yours.

The display looked empty, so I asked if there were any cookies left and was told he was about to close. I instantly felt uncomfortable. I ended up taking a Neapolitan and a cream puff. I specifically informed the staff that I am allergic to almonds and asked if the lemon bars contained almonds. I was told they did not. However, after taking a bite, I discovered that the lemon bar did contain almonds. This situation is extremely concerning because a nut allergy can be life-threatening. What makes this worse is that when I attempted to call the store, the phone lines were down. We had to ask the restaurant next door (Masuruas) to bring their phone over so we could reach someone. Only then did the staff admit, "oh yes, it has coconut... oh, and almonds too." This level of misinformation is dangerous and unacceptable. Individuals with allergies rely on accurate information from staff to make safe choices. A mistake like this could have resulted in a severe medical emergency.
