Nestled in downtown Tulare you'll find this cozy little shop with great customer service and drinks! [[HIGHLIGHT]]From the outside I didn't expect much yet the inside was decorated so nicely. Very delicious coffee. They were able to accommodate my decaf request. I think it was a little expensive, however I would rather pay for their coffee than spend that money at a big chain coffee shop like Starbucks. The foam is delicious but then you have to lick out the whole cup so that a little inconvenient. read more

Very fun options but at the cost of high prices and very slow service. I placed an order for pick up and it took 40 minutes from when I placed the order for it to be completed. Even though there was a 20 minute estimated wait time, no one appeared to care that my order was lost in the queue. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The couch was comfortable to wait on but I was irritated about the slow and nonchalant service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] *Joe's Toast: the cream cheese was applied very lightly so this tasted closer to a traditional avocado toast. The tomatoes were fresh, juicy and sweet. Although there was a generous application of red pepper flakes and pepper, the avocado smear was cooling so it was well balanced. The bread was crusty but not toasted enough so it was a bit soggy when I started eating. *Vanilla Sweet Cream Matcha: the matcha was weak and for $6.25, I would hope that the beverage filled the entire cup. The cream looked nicer than it tasted. The cream top tasted like nothing and overall this was an overpriced cup of milk. *Mango Peach Cooler: heavy on the peach syrup but nearly no mango flavor. This was refreshing in the sense that it was practically water with the essence of fruit. The avocado toast wasn't bad but the drinks were subpar and overpriced. I wish I lived closer to Vali Coffee! I don't live in Tulare, but I've been meaning to check out this coffee shop for a long time. I happened to be in town for an event, so I took the opportunity to stop in and get some coffee beforehand. It was a little bit before they closed, but I still received a friendly and warm welcome from the staff. :) [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's such a cute coffee shop. I love the decor, the coziness, and they have a good variety of seating which is one of the things I really look for in a shop.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Totally my vibe and it's somewhere that I would definitely like to go and hang out in again. They have a good variety of drink options and the staff were really helpful with my drink selection. I was looking for something that was a little less sweet, and she also modified it for me. when she gave me my drink, she wanted to make sure that it was the right sweetness level for me. It was perfect, and just what I was wanting. I appreciate the great customer service and that she checked that I was happy with the drink. (I had the Salted Caramel Sweet Cream Macchiato) And the lovely written note on my cup made me smile. I'm happy to support a great small business coffee shop, and a faith based business. Cute spot in downtown Tulare, yummy drinks, I've had a hot and iced vanilla latte there. I've had a lemonade green tea, and their peach mango cooler. I've also tried their avocado toast with cream cheese - so good! & friendly service always. The only con- there is a smell that is so strong to me of salon or perm? I've noticed it the last three times I've gone. I thought it was just this spot but I walked around downtown into another store and it smelled like that too?? Anyone else notice this? Anyways, it makes it difficult to stay inside for long, I always want to get my drink and go quickly, shame because the inside is decorated so cute and it'd be nice to sit there. I am so sad that today I had my last cup of coffee from this "Christian" establishment. Even though I've always received the worst service, I've consistently supported them because of how good their coffee is however today was unacceptable. I experienced the most unfortunate, unprofessional interaction. Let me preface by saying I order online all the time and in the beginning , sometimes I'd arrive on time for my order (at the time my drink is promised) & it would never be ready, so I started going about 30-60 minutes AFTER (wild I know) the promised time because I know how busy they would get and STILL wanted to continue supporting a small business.. And even then, I can't say my order was ever ready for me upon arrival. I had brought this to their attention in the past and they still had the audacity to give me excuses, but what business allows for an order to go out 45-60 minutes AFTER ordering??? Anyway, that's not the issue today, when I got there to pick my order up along with some of my co workers, the employee claimed she "couldn't find" my order so I showed her a screenshot of my order confirmation (I do this anytime I order online just in case the app erases my order or something) and immediately she gave me attitude simply because it was a screenshot?which makes no sense. I don't see the issue in showing her a screenshot, anyway, she tried blaming me again by saying "sometimes people don't scroll down and complete the order and pay" as if I am incapable of ordering online. I'm telling you, this woman has always been rude I've never understood why, especially working at a Christian establishment... Another employee was helping my co worker at the register and the girl helping me was making caddy comments to her co worker about ME, SIMPLY BECAUSE I HAD SHOWN HER A SCREENSHOT OF MY ORDER CONFIRMATION. Again, I do not understand the issue with this. They came to the conclusion that they cleared my order out on their end. And Even when they were in the wrong, i didn't get any type of apology any sign of remorse, instead they were behind the counter pointing at me and my co workers talking about us while waiting for our drinks to be made!! My aunt went up to the counter asking why they were deliberately pointing at us and talking about us and the employee was trying to justify it!! I swear they made us feel so uncomfortable. And when my drink was finally ready, I showed the girl my receipt directly from their app since she was making the screenshot thing such a big deal. It was in this moment that she started being extremely unprofessional and claiming that I always arrive early to pick my orders up when in reality I stopped doing that along time ago after learning that they never make drinks as promised, like I stated before, I always gave them a cushion of time to make my drink!! I told them how incredibly unprofessional it was to run a business this way and that's when another customer in the drive thru overheard me and agreed with me! I'm sorry but when you have multiple customers telling you that this is an issue maybe you should start looking within yourself and making a change. The employee continued making excuses for their poor customer service and lack of time management & even began crying??? I don't understand why she started crying because she was the one who escalated the entire situation, don't be rude to customers and then not expect them to call you out on it. That's not how life works, you don't get to play victim when you're the aggressor. Another employee joined in and asked how they could rectify the situation (very rudely I might add, the entire staff needs training on customer service) and was pretty much trying to get me to leave when all I was trying to help them understand was that you cannot continue to treat customers this way...this entire situation sucks because i genuinely loved this place. But oh well, back to Dutch bros, Starbucks.. :( hopefully the owners see this and become aware of their rude behavior towards loyal customers... :( read more

This is my frist time trying out Vali Coffee and I have to say I'm quite impressed! I seen on their instagram page that they had a pistachio iced latte. At first I wasn't sure if I'd want to try it onlh because I didn't think it would have a pistachio flavor but I was wrong! Its the complete opposite, you can taste the pistachio and the latte itself it rich and creamy! Also, the whip with pistachio bits add a great mix! Can't wait to try other drinks off their menu! But this pistachio latte, definitely recommend! *Online Orders are convenient, and give you a time to pick up, pickups only until 10:30am* it's convenient if your on the go or on your way to work. I loved the vibe in there! The menu had tasty items & lots of different drink variations to choose from. Very cute place. However, service wasn't as expected sadly... I told the person on the register that it was my first time there, and asked for suggestions, he recommended a tasty avocado toast (was delicious) he was nice but with a "sad" attitude... I didn't get a smile, but he was polite. Everything fine until I got called to get my drinks, (I went with a friend and she got a caffeine free drink) I was confused at the writing on the cup and I didn't know how to differentiate them so I went ahead and asked the two ladies (guy wasn't there anymore) and they replied with a bad attitude & serious face saying that it was written there (felt a "are u dumb" type of attitude from them) I smiled back at them and both stared back with a bad attitude, I just thanked them & went to my seat & they never smiled back. I immediately told my friend that the ladies were probably having a bad day because they stared at me like I was stupid... Sucks that they have such bad customer service I need to say that day wasn't busy, there weren't a ton of customers and when I asked them they weren't busy so I honestly didn't see a reason why they were being like that. Food was good but it left me no desire to go back or to even recommend this place sadly... I love to support small businesses but they need to improve their attitude on making customers feel welcomed. (((( EDIT ))) I originally rated two stars but updated to 5 stars The owner reached out to me, she personally called me to apologize about the bad first experience I had and was very nice& sweet. A business that cares about their customers is golden. Who does that nowadays?! It was a very nice surprise the coffee on them next time! I tried over 15 different coffee spots in the Tulare/Visalia area and ordered the exact same thing at every place - a small iced caramel macchiato. This ranked #1 for taste! My favorite macchiato - the perfect sweetness. It was quite a bit more expensive than what I would be willing to pay for that daily cup of Joe, but it definitely is a treat worth splurging on from time to time. I also love the brick and mortar location - They have a variety of tables and couches so you can pick what is comfortable for you. They also have the cutest little kids area with a wooden espresso machine as a toy. I will be coming back here - maybe not everyday, but the occasional macchiato is definitely in my future. read more

Visiting family in the area and stopped at this coffee shop, super cute interior! Minimalist decor with lots of seating space. We ordered 2 vanilla lattes and one plain latte, and they accidentally made them all vanilla. I let the barista know and she remade it for me quickly with no problem! If you're from the area and think Vali looks familiar, you're right. Vali pops up at the Visalia Vossler Farms Pumpkin patch each year. That's the only place I had ever seen them. Two years ago I tried Vali at the pumpkin patch and never found them again. To my luck I came across their Instagram page and found out they have a spot they park in Tulare a few times a week for a few hours. Although, they are more of a pop-up and update their availability on their Instagram page weekly. I quickly fell in love with their pumpkin cream cold brew and that says a lot because I'm not a pumpkin fan! I've introduced this coffee to many family members that have all really enjoyed it as well. For those wondering they do have dairy free substitutions(oat and almond milk)! You also have the option of ordering online so dont forget to take advantage of that. Customer service is fantastic! This right here is the best coffee in town. The cold brew is very smooth and not bitter. The costumer service is amazing and everyone is super friendly and they want to make you a drink that you will enjoy. Sad that they aren't open all day, but I get mine every morning. My favorites are the Iced Macadamia Breve and the Carmel Cream Macchiato, and sometimes when I want it with oat milk they got that covered too! I 10/10 recommended Vali Coffee. read more
