Went in for a Valentine's breakfast. Sat right away. The owner was very friendly and talked to every single person in the restaurant and introduced herself. The restaurant is a non profit. Good food and good cause.

My friend from another state ordered me a gift card for my birthday for this Resturant. So excited to try it ; a French restaurant owned by French people ... love it! We made reservations a couple days prior to coming here; got to sit wherever we wanted. The owners came by our table a few times ... very friendly. We ordered the quiche with the lyonise potatoes; perfect amount and a unique taste. We also ordered an omlette with lyonise potatoes.... Very good. Had to try a crepe; filled with Nutella and banana; mmmm reminded me of being in France. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is casual ; we must admit all the staff was friendly and very welcoming.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have a kids corner; for toddlers with toys ; which was very convenient.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Loved that they work with the community and provide a lot of opportunities for those students who are high risk. Great mission !

I went to brunch here and unfortunately it was not very enjoyable. The staff seemed as though they were new. They were not familiar with the menu which is not a good sign to me. They struggled while we ordered our beverages. The food came out very late. Our charges were incorrect on the check. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Also if you have a child in diapers, there is no changing table.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

An absolute must stop if driving through Tulare, the food is amazing, best eggs Benedict I have ever had! Fresh, beautifully tasting English muffins and the hollandaise was heavenly. The owner is incredibly kind and their mission statement is wonderful. This was the perfect stop for our road trip. We were treated like family during our visit and will definitely be back!

Hands down the best croissants in the Central Valley and among the best in the state Buttery, flavorful , fresh and with artisan attentions to time consuming art of making a proper pastry dough You can count the number if layers in each bite of this scrumptious pastry and see how much effort the bakers have put into it I'm excited to come back for croque Monsieur and croque madame for breakfast next week What a gem in Tulare to exist I hope they are full of patrons and success moving forward Staff were so friendly and helpful for my order and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the restaurant just fills you with the feeling of a French cafe in Paris[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

A surprisingly self made French cafe in the middle of Tulare. The owner herself sat down with me to explain that this cafe makes everything from scratch. She also mentions how this cafe also serves as a nonprofit during after hours for those looking for a second life. Although the menu warned of slower service, I found that my food came out in a timely manner despite the lunch rush. *French Onion Soup: rich, cheesy and beefy. Came with three slices of a bread but the soup itself had enough carb content. The cheese offered a pleasant stretch and saltiness. The onions could have caramelized for longer but the broth had good sweetness and herbal flavor regardless. *Lyonnaise Potatoes: the potatoes were cut thicker than the average potato chip. Certain slices were crispier while others had a chewier bite. The potatoes were seasoned well and the onion soup panning was very subtle. The best bites were the ones with onion bits. *Lemonade: on the sour side and not overly sweet. I wished that it was served in a glass instead of a plastic cup like other beverages. It was definitely house made but it wasn't my favorite. Every staff member was friendly although they appeared quite swamped. I got up to prep my own to go container because no one was free. Paying the bill was also at the front too so there wasn't much interaction after the first encounter. Overall, the food was good with stylistic flavors albeit the lemonade wasn't my favorite. The meaningful message and warm, welcoming ambiance made me rate the dine in experience a solid 4 stars.

This was the first time we visited Eden Cafe. The food was amazing! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere is quiet and relaxed with great staff.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The owners take time to visit tables and are very personable!

We went for their New Years Eve Dinner! And wow, this is a glimpse of the dinner menu starting in February I was told, so it's tentative. But we are completely obsessed and cannot wait to go back for dinner. The servers are all so friendly and the owner is a delight! Always checking in on you and making sure everything is to your liking. I love the small coffee shop to the side for a quick in and out when you just want a pastry & coffee to go!

Eden Cafe is a newer restaurant, whose kind owner adds to the charm. She personally came around to each table to introduce herself, share the mission behind the restaurant, and the ways they give back to the community. A welcoming space for all. Our breakfast was delicious!

Ordered my food about 25 minutes before my break. Walked over. As I stood there the woman (I believe Missy) looked at me and looked away. I stood there as she made a sandwich in one of the slowest motions I've ever witnessed. Then a man from DoorDash came in. She told him,I'm sorry for the wait I've been sooo busy. I still gave her grace and waited. She eventually hands him his bag of items. I said hey,I ordered my food about 40 minutes ago online. She told me I Don't have an order for you. I showed her my email. She then said I don't know what to tell you. I was running out of time to even eat at this point. I told her my name again and that I would call regarding getting my money back. I got the most terrible sandwich for $20 Nextdoor and basically didn't even eat. So I called and she proceeded to say she was soo busy. I politely told her,you absolutely were not. I watched you for 20 minutes! And you ignored me multiple times after looking at me. You dismissed me. She claimed she had 3 online orders before I got there. She stated she found my order. I reminded her that I placed my order 25 minutes before I even got there. She then apologized again, while defending the fact she was "so busy" I stated that "being so busy" has nothing to do with customer service. I asked for management. She said they would be back on Monday. What a let down. What a shame that people With no customer service have to work in it just to have a job. I have sympathy and understanding to a certain level. But now I'm out the $20 I spent on a terrible sandwich from the neighboring store plus my expectations and business from what I was expecting to be an amazing sandwich. (I know this was long, sorry) lol. All and all, awful from start to finish. Don't go here expecting anything beyond what an employee is forced to do. PS,still waiting for my refund.

Small local business, so please support LOCAL! Their food was exceptional. The shrimp spring rolls were light but filling and they provide both a peanut sauce (actually can taste the peanut in the sauce (I think they may use peanut butter) and a traditional vinegar fish sauce dip. The wife ordered the vermicelli with sliced pork. It looks like a deconstructed version of a spring roll = soooo good and I got the dry noodle with garlicy fried chicken. The chicken was perfectly fried and crispy while the noodles were lightly seasoned and cooked in a sweet fish sauce. DONT OVER LOOK THIS PLACE! ITS A MUST TRY!!! BTW: the owners are super sweet too! There was an elderly gentleman who was down on his luck, who came inside. He asked two young girls who were dining for money just for drink (100 degree day). The young cashier didn't miss a beat and treated the man with kindness gave him the drink he ordered plus made him a large to-go water and then asked if he had eaten today. He said, "no". Then a short conversation started from the back and the owners fed the man. Me and my wife called the cashier over and told her we'll pay for his food but the owner kindly declined. Before we left we had a nice conversation with the owner and hopefully next time in town my wife can do some return business with a catering order. AGAIN you would rarely see this happen at a chain restaurant so this is why we try support small local businesses...and how we become loyal customers!!!
