Once again Hometown has made my life easier and delicious, and without breaking my budget. This month alone, they not only made me the best iced Chai lattes, consistently perfect over and over again but they catered my twins' graduation party, AND they made my twins birthday cupcakes (every year- this year is year 18!). Hometown has always been there for me, even when I am hangery and have an off day, they make me feel welcomed and just for those few precious moments while I'm there, I'm a part of their big loving family because that is how they treat me. thank you Hometown.

Focaccia bread generally contains more air bubbles, no spread and all soft doughy bread with some well refrigerated chicken.

Bummed to write this because this shop used to blow my mind. The menu honestly reads for homey but upscale food, but good lord the prices are CRAZY now(not the biggest concern). Usually, I collect the hot pastrami and have them toast/press the sandwich but decided to try their chicken focaccia because it was on their "Grilled Sandwich" selection. I asked to have the chicken microwaved and assumed the bread would have been toasted. Unfortunately, the meat was cold, and the bread did not have lick of a crunch, and I couldn't even taste the aioli or whatever was supposed to be spread on the bread?... I had to drive back to the shop to get mustard because the sandwich was SO DOUGHY. Almost seemed like the bread may not have been cooked fully?.. the staff was helpful and the cookie was great but for an 18$ sandwich and no drink, please consider warning customers that the sandwiches are not going to be toasted/grilled especially if they order from the "Grilled" section.. Very misleading and being given a cold sandwiches after ordering a "grilled"? I would have been better off paying less at subway.

Amazing service, great small town atmosphere, food is delicious and so are all of the treats! My favorite is the chocolate chip pecan cookies!

Terrible service and substandard food. i expected the breakfast to be better because it's a privately owned spot. Coffee was watery.

The moment I walked in, I was met with a mix of textures, a brick wall on one side, a row of mirror‑panels dressed like windows on the other, and a clean white wall in the back. It's an interesting blend, almost theatrical, like the space is trying to tell a story before you even get to the food. And the food is where things get fun. The display case is packed with pastries, croissants, cannoli, muffins, all the sweet treats a bakery should have, each one looking like it was made to tempt you. I stood there longer than I expected, going back and forth on what to choose because everything looked good. I finally settled on the berry vanilla pastry, and it was worth the indecision. Flaky, powdered with sugar, creamy from the custard, and sweet from the berries, the kind of pastry that makes a mess and doesn't apologize for it. I didn't know the "proper" way to eat it, so I just picked it up and took a bite. Sometimes that's the best way to meet a pastry for the first time. As I sat there, I noticed the atmosphere shift around me, religious canvases on the walls, Bible verses printed on the tables, and gospel music playing softly in the background. It's a bakery rooted deeply in faith, and the environment reflects that. Not in an overwhelming way, but in a way that tells you exactly what kind of values built the place. Then I looked up at the menu wall coffee, teas, refreshers, sandwiches for breakfast and lunch. Plenty of options that would easily pull me back in on another day. I just need to make sure I don't get distracted by the pastry case again before I even get to the menu. Jireh Bakery is a sweet little spot with personality, good pastries, and an atmosphere that stands out. I came in for a treat, and I left already thinking about what I'll try next time.

I remember when they first opened on Pine Street, a tiny bakery with nothing but ambition, a mixer, and cookies that tasted like someone finally figured out how to bake nostalgia. Those cookies are still the heart of the place. Crisp edges, soft centers, warm enough to make you forget whatever else is happening in your day. Every week brings a new flavor, sometimes a surprise, sometimes a classic, but always worth stopping in for. It's the kind of bakery where you walk in expecting the usual and walk out with something you didn't know you needed. When they expanded to E Street, the space grew but the soul didn't change. Same cookies, same warmth, same feeling that you're supporting a business that actually cares. And now they've franchised into downtown Visalia, a small victory for a bakery that started with nothing but dough and a dream. I haven't been yet, but I already know what I'll find: the same honest cookies and the same friendly faces. Their fruit smoothies deserve their own mention bright, fresh, and surprisingly good. The kind of drink that reminds you that small towns can still surprise you. And the staff? They talk to you like you're already a friend. No corporate scripts, no forced smiles. Just real people running a real business in a real town. Parking is simple, just street parking, no designated lot. It's part of the charm, really. You pull up, grab a cookie, and blend right into the rhythm of Exeter. And here's what makes Just Dough With It even more special: they don't just sell their own treats. They support other small businesses by stocking local chocolates, honey, popcorn, rice crispy treats, and more. It's a bakery that doubles as a showcase for the community, proof that when one small business grows, it lifts others with it. Working in town, I get coworkers asking me to pick up a few cookies on my way out. Friends call me after trying the place for the first time, telling me how good everything was. That's the mark of a true local gem, when people don't just enjoy it, they remember it. Just Dough With It isn't trying to be a destination bakery. It's trying to be part of the town. And it succeeds, one cookie at a time.

It was around 1pm and I was still looking to have breakfast, but my hubby was looking for lunch. This place seemed to offer both and the reviews were good too! We were able to park right up front. They have an outside patio in the front area as an option to dine at. It was definitely a hot day in the high 90's, so it wasn't an option for us to sit out there today. Although they did have misters on which was a nice touch. We walked in to a busy place and there were only two tables available, so we sat down right away. It took a while for us to get our menu's, but we can see it was busy. Our server was really nice and once we ordered our food, it was served pretty quickly! I ordered the Ironman Scramble with the Cheddar Jalapeño bread which the bread was so delicious! I also ordered a refreshing Peach Iced Tea. My husband ordered the Alabama Hills Bacon Cheese Burger and a Strawberry Lemonade. We were both very happy with our meals and even ordered a Cinnamon Roll to go! All the baked goods looked amazing too.
