Most consistently excellent Bakery in town. The horchata is my favorite. Been a customer for years. Great service. Must try

One of the best panaderías in Visalia. Went Mid October and they had tamales also, they were delicious! On this trip we got pastel de tres leches and warm birote fresh out of the oven.. they have added red velvet and pumpkin cupcakes to the menu! The sweetest people work there too.

Just found out that my favorite pandaría started selling breakfast and items. Though you don't order inside, they have a food truck parked outside that you go and order from. And I have to say the breakfast burritos amazing. We will definitely be going back to try the chilaquiles!!

Probably the best Mexican bakery in town. They have an insane variety. I have never regretted stopping for pastries. Everything is always pretty tasty. If I had to say anything negative it would be the location. Also, it is a little warm in there during the summer. Which is understandable, considering the ovens are always on. But they do keep the air on. I am more than willing to experience a bit of discomfort for good pastries.

I paid 37 for only 15 pieces of bread. Looked at my bank statement and see I was charged an additional 2.64 for using my debit card.

Buyer beware! 15 pieces of bread which consisted of a few concha's, cookies, empanadas. I was already upset I paid 37 for only 15 pieces of bread. Looked at my bank statement and see I was charged an additional 2.64. They're such a scam! No postings about any surcharges. I guess they only value ebt and cash paying patreons only. I will never return.

Covid-19 phase The worker was masked. They know very little English. They had a bunch of good looking treats! A cinnamon roll was bought to split with my mother for breakfast during the week and she bought a dessert for herself too. When you walk-in you grab a plate and prongs and you go through to pick what you want and put it on the plate and then check out. Okay service and good desserts.

a display case full of pastries

the prices are amazing and the selection is diverse. I haven't tried anything yet but my family really enjoyed it all. It's hot in the place - there's no a/c - and there's no indoor seating and the owner doesn't speak much English but again the low prices and variety of tasty looking desserts make visiting this small local establishment a must!

    Extremely Disappointed...Never coming back!

Delicious freshly baked bread. They had a big selection when I went. Staff were friendly and the bakery was clean.

I've definitely been coming here since the beginning, thanks to my mom! It's stood out from the very beginning & I love how much they have expanded. There's something for everyone on their men. I think they have some of the best matcha's around (but if you drink your matcha with LOTS of sweetener.. you probably won't like a real matcha from here) -- I say this bc people complain that it taste like GRASS... and well, it damn near is (green tea leaves) lol -- all jokes aside, their drinks and food are all hand crafted and all made and / or roasted in house! I have not once ever had a complaint about this place. I love the ambience inside and out. Plenty of spaces to work from (one of my fav spots) Service is always ask expected for hand crafted drinks and food! The workers are always very knowledgeable about their menu items & products, love that! Their pop tarts... if you can get them when they have them.. TRY THEM OUT!! Actually, all their pastry's and breakfast items are delicious! (I just always forget to take pictures) haha I will always come here for food/homemade pastries , a drink or to work!

You find it because someone told you about it, or because you were looking for a place that feels a little more city than Central Valley. Brick walls, hanging art, a patio out front call it rustic, call it urban, call it hipster. Whatever the word is, it fits. Inside, the place hums. Not the quiet hum of a sleepy café, but the full‑volume buzz of people who treat coffee shops like co‑working spaces. The whole back section was a sea of laptops when I walked in, a slow tide of remote workers drifting out as the hour passed. Young folks, older folks, groups talking over each other a mix that tells you this spot has become a kind of community hub, even if the noise makes it hard to read without noise‑canceling buds. I came for a simple moment, a London Fog and a book. The tea was good, made with Rishi, a brand I'd never heard of but wouldn't mind trying again. I sipped it slowly, trying to sink into the page, but the chatter kept pulling me back to the room. Not a bad thing, just not the right place for quiet reflection. Some cafés are built for solitude; this one is built for motion. The staff was friendly, your standard modern barista crew, casual, quick, and easygoing. They run a tight operation, even offering mobile orders, something you usually see in bigger industrial coffee spots. Pastries, sandwiches, teas, espresso, the menu covers all the bases. Finding the entrance was its own adventure. Two doors, a divider in the middle, and a moment of "Wait... which side do I go through?" Not a dealbreaker, just one of those quirks that makes you laugh once you figure it out. Lighting is interesting here, low lamps mixed with a flood of natural light pouring in from the center of the shop. It gives the place a warm‑meets‑industrial feel, like a café that grew out of a warehouse and decided to keep the personality. Will I come back? Maybe. It's a great spot for people‑watching, conversation, or getting work done. But for reading, for sinking into a book with a drink, it's a place that demands either silence from the world or silence from your earbuds. Component Coffee Lab is loud, lively, and loved, just not quiet. And maybe that's the point.

The upstairs feels like a classic restaurant, while the downstairs has a cool speakeasy vibe that makes the experience even more unique. We ordered an appetizer, pizza, pasta, and the pistachio cake, and every single dish was outstanding. The pizza had the perfect amount of cheese for that satisfying cheese pull. The pasta wasn't just one-dimensional. Everything was perfectly seasoned, tasted fresh, and the quality really stood out. The pistachio cake was the perfect ending to the meal. It had just the right amount of sweetness, allowing the distinct pistachio flavor to shine through, complemented by a subtle hint of coconut that made it even more delicious. Our waiter was attentive, friendly, and made us feel welcome throughout the meal. I'll definitely be coming back the next time I'm in town. Highly recommend!

Okay, look. First of all, they serve your soda in actual, full-sized mason jars. Which I am…read morepersonally obsessed with, because nothing gives me a baseline level of panic quite like having to make awkward eye contact with a server every four minutes just to beg for a refill. So having a massive jar of soda already right in front of me? Huge win. Now, moving on to the slightly traumatizing part: they did not bring out bread to the table. Excuse me? I'm sorry, but if I am sitting down for Italian, table bread is not an optional courtesy--it is a fundamental human right. And it became an even bigger issue when my fettuccine arrived, because the portion size was... let's just say aggressively small for a dinner entree. I was expecting a meal, not a decorative sample. However... it was infuriatingly good. They make their own pasta fresh in-house, and the texture was honestly undeniable. My husband ordered the Margherita pizza, and he literally declared--with complete, uncharacteristic enthusiasm--that it was hands-down the best Margherita pizza he has ever gotten. So, massive points there. What was not a massive point, however, was the subterranean seating situation. We were escorted downstairs into the basement, which was pitch black. But more importantly: the stairs are completely unlit. I'm sorry, but they are actively asking to get sued. It is a litigious nightmare waiting to happen. Someone is going to take one wrong step in the dark, tumble down that staircase, and own the entire restaurant by next Tuesday. They are practically begging for a lawsuit. That being said... despite the pitch-black staircase of death and the tragic lack of dinner rolls, overall? I really liked it. The food completely won me over, and I would definitely go back. I will just be bringing a flashlight and my own emergency focaccia next time.
