Couple eating out.

I've never been there. I'm vegetarian, so I wonder how vegetarian friendly they are. Do they use lard in the beans and some kind of meat broth in the rice?? Anybody know? (I know people like lard in their beans for the flavor. That is so great but I've grown accustomed to lardless refried beans, and they are great and better for you and for my heart. Did I say better?

I Love there food and they are super fast! Service is great. Outside seating. I recommend Chile relleño burrito!

We were on our way to Sequoia and wanted to pick up some thing for lunch to take to the park. Everywhere in town was closed for the holiday but thankfully Baja Mex was open. They are cash only and we only had a $20 bill. The owners were very kind and helped us figure out how to spread our cash three ways for our meals. We are not usually in this type of bind, but we're grateful for their kindness. We ordered three types of burritos and they were all fantastic! All three of us have a bit of a different taste for something and we were all very grateful for our meals. I make it my Goal in life to find the best bean and cheese burritos whenever I travel somewhere or move somewhere new and without even having to search, I found my new favorite in the Central Valley. I will definitely be making the drive here again just for their kindness and the food. Their salsas are also fantastic. Plus they were playing Selena Quintanilla so it really should be six out of five stars!

Love this place. The people there are so friendly, and the food is epic!

Love this place. The food is epic! The people are so friendly and accommodating. Plus they get your food out to you fast. Plus I love the fact they only take cash. I'm sure some people would find this annoying. But I find it a throw back to a simpler time with a restaurant that uses simple fresh ingredients to make super tasty food. I'm forever a fan!

It was a delicious carne asada taco that I didn't think about taking a picture of until it was too late.

This is my favorite taco shop in exeter. I need to try some other offerings they have because I've been loving the bean and cheese burrito and carne awards taco for too long. I need to beach out. The prices are great, the food is great, and it's all very reasonably priced. Cash only, though.

Great tacos! Had chili verde and al pastor. Both delicious and big for the price. Only reason for not five stars, cash only.

Baja Mex has been a family favorite for years and years. It's all delicious, but hands down the best breakfast burritos around.

The restaurant was closed at the time as it was night time, but we were attracted by the bright lights of the food truck! We enjoyed the tacos and horchata and have been raving about it since. Knowing we'd be in the area once more on another sequoia trip, we knew we had to re-visit. Our Airbnb was located in Visalia and it looks like they have another location there as well, however, after calling, I confirmed that it isn't the exact same menu and it's owned by different brothers. Knowing this, I knew I had to go back to the exact location we went to last. This time around, I opted for 2 carne asada tacos and 2 Al pastor tacos. The tacos each come with raw finely chopped onion, pico de gallo and guacamole, with perfectly grilled onions and jalapeño on the side. The carne asada meat was perfectly cooked per usual and it had a delicious smoky flavor and the al pastor was just as delicious! Horchata - not too overpowering and perfectly sweetened. If I ever find myself in central cali, I'll be back in a heartbeat! Also, please note that the truck names tacos way is the same exact food as the restaurant called Los arbolitos, the restaurant just has an expanded menu.

We were visiting from out of state to this area of California. We had spent the day at an outdoor…read moreconvention, and were looking forward to this particular restaurant. With the reviews on Yelp and the recommendation of our Air bnb host, this was a "must" during our visit. Nice decor and ambiance upon entering. Had a musician playing clarinet, which was beautiful. Unfortunately, we did not even eat here. As I stated, we had been at an outdoor convention- we were in nice jeans and ballcaps. This restaurant was not "suit" fancy, but we may have appeared underdressed with our ballcaps. Honestly we don't make a habit of dressing down and are usually overdressed lol. We felt judged the moment we walked in. They asked if we had a reservation. We did not but we were still sat. There was a wine tasting going on and we were asked if we would like to participate. We politely declined. The vineyard owner came over and talked to us. I politely declined again. The waitress never returned for over 10min. We hadn't even been asked about any other drinks, appetizers, specials of the house, nothing. The menu had some amazing dishes and appetizers that I am sad I wasn't able to try, but if you're going to make me feel less because I didn't have an opportunity to brush out my ponytail and change my shoes, then you're not deserving of the money we were planning on spending in your establishment. These Texas ranchers were very unimpressed

Very pleasant experience for a date night, with even more delicious food. I was here over a year ago and sadly forgot to post this review, so I don't remember what we had but I remember I thoroughly enjoyed it. The owner had a moment to chat it up with us and she gave us the story of their business and it was all just a pleasant time. This is definitely a gem of spot in this town.
