After a long day at Sequoia National Park, our family made the drive down feeling exhausted and hungry and we were so glad we stopped here! From the moment we walked in, Pamela greeted us with a big, warm smile that instantly made us feel welcome. We couldn't help but notice the Mexican candy at the counter (impossible to resist!), and the restaurant itself was beautifully decorated with a great ambiance and lively Mexican music playing in the background. Even the bathrooms were spotless, which always says a lot. The service was amazing throughout, and Pamela truly went above and beyond to make our experience special. The chips were flavorful, and the salsa tasted fresh and homemade, such a great start. We ordered nachos as an appetizer, and for our entrées we had an enchilada and chile relleno with rice and beans. The chef was definitely generous with the cheese! We also tried the Cabaña, and the carne asada was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. To top it off, the hot chocolate was perfectly balanced not too sweet, not too bland just right. Delicious food with portions big enough to split! Very clean interior and well-maintained restrooms. When we arrived we were the only people in the restaurant, but so long as that doesn't bother you, it is worth a visit! We had the quesabirria as an appetizer, which was very tasty. The appetizer was huge, which I feel justified the price ($16). For dinner, we split the two enchilada combo with rice & beans, which was also enjoyable. The green sauce was spicier than expected but overall we both were happy with it! Again, enough to split, so I felt the price was justified ($16). The only item we tried that I did not feel was justifiably priced was the churro and ice cream dessert. I've had fresher churros and ice cream from a local food truck for almost half the cost, and unfortunately the dessert just left a lot to be desired for the $13 cost. The churros were fairly hard and the ice cream had ice chips throughout; I'm guessing it's not a frequently ordered dish. Flavor was great, but for $13 I would have expected better quality. All in all it was a satisfactory visit and I wouldn't be opposed to coming back! read more

The food was delicious especially the chips which were thin and crispy. Their menu is huge; lots of choices. Service was great since there were not too many customers when we went at 3:00pm. Prices are reasonable but on the higher end. Nice feel indoors. read more

My cousin told my Mom to come eat at this place. Cute little place in Exeter. The menu is a bit pricey, but honestly i think it was worth it. The beans were exceptional. As a Mexican I'm picky when it comes to Mexican food. When I say the food is good it's good I got the plate with a taco chile relleno and enchilada with rice and beans I couldn't finish it. I was super full. Definitely prefer this place than any Mexican restaurant down town Visalia or Exeter to be exact. Glad to see another good Mexican restaurant opened in Exeter. Place has all kinds of food with great taste and Chips with Salsa and Beans, to hold you over. They have crammed everything that a good restaurant has, having restrooms, bars, good seating and decorations. The atmosphere is Tiki Beach themed and reminds me of the Casita in Encanto. Employees are respectful and check in to make sure everything went alright. Only thing, the place is quite expensive, but the qualities make up for it. I saw a TikTok video of this restaurant so since I was passing through the area I had to try it out. There are plenty of parking spaces in the shopping center so we were lucky to grab a spot right in front. The place has a nice & cozy vibe to it. They had upbeat music playing. This is a great place to bring the family or hang out with friends or coworkers. Our server was very nice throughout our time there. She took our orders & brought us chips with salsa & refried beans to hold us over while we waited for our food. Our food didn't take long to be served so we didn't even have a chance to eat much of the chips. My kids don't really like shrimp but they loved the Camarones Rellenos appetizer. They were really bomb! I was feeling pretty greedy about having to share them lol I ordered the Carne Asada Dinner & the steak was cooked just the way I like it. It was tender & delicious. My kids enjoyed their meals as well. Overall Im glad I stopped by to try this place out. I will definitely be back to try more of their dishes, there are so many more that I want to try. Had the Camarones ala diabla and it was excellent. For some reason this has always been my go to dish in order to measure how good a Mexican restaurant is, and it has not failed me yet. Their recipe was the perfect amount of spicy that did not overpower the meal. I will 100% be returning to try the molcajete next time. read more
