I like how there is so many different options and customizations for their drinks! My go to is the Golden Eagle Freeze! I didn't like my Black Tea drink because it didn't have any tea taste at all. We've tried the Mooney Blvd./Visalia CA location and have no problem with the coffee; it's truly excellent...and we love the cups! However, I'm hoping you'll consider something more "professional" for the baristas/servers to wear. A shirt with logo? Vest/apron? Cap? Visor? Something blue and white? The young man who waited on us on Feb. 12 at 4:25 pm was a fat slob to begin with, but all he had on was a khaki (?) colored polo shirt, that looked like it was sitting crumpled in his gym locker too long. I realize you have a different business model than Starbuck's--and that's fine. Uniforms do cost money. Something else: On a particularly busy evening (our very first time there) an order-taker was standing on the narrow walk to speed things up--a few feet before cars reach the window--and he was wearing nothing to show *who he was working for.* There are five adjacent eateries in that congested little complex--so customers had no idea which of them the man was representing. (I had to ask "Who are you?" Lol!) To make things worse, there's no signage in or on the entrance on Myrtle Avenue that says "Dutch Bros"--so drivers are confused even before they drive in there. Turning around and trying a different entrance is impossible, because Mooney Boulevard near the freeway is a congested multi-lane thoroughfare with too many speeders that's risky to navigate. read more

I placed my order through the app and went through the drive through to pick it up. Apparently that's a big no-no because the girl taking orders reprimanded me and said next time I have to go into the store to get it because they don't do pick up orders in the drive through. Then she went inside to see if it was ready, came out with it and handed it to me very passive aggressively without saying a word. Funny thing is I couldn't see the long line of cars waiting at the drive thru until after I got in line and would have happily turned around and gone inside if that were possible but I was trapped. So not only did I get reprimanded, but I also had to wait in line for 15 minutes. I don't normally go to Dutch Bros so I'm not that familiar with their policies but I would think that if you ordered ahead it would be for the convenience, and having to go inside to pick it up is not very convenient. I finally had the opportunity to try Dutch Bros Coffee, and I will say that the coffee shop with the green and white cups can really learn some things from the DB. This location has been open for quite a while and judging by its never-ending epic drive-thru lines, I figured that it must be pretty something rather good. Cars waiting to get into Dutch Bros normally snake through its parking lot, around the corner while blocking access to local business, and impeding traffic on the always busy Mooney Blvd. Although, I lack the patience to ever sit in a mega drive-thru line, my experience today makes me want to come back for another visit. First, I was impressed with the friendly employees working the drive-thru line, taking orders and payment, and explaining items on the menu board. I ordered the Salted Caramel Breve which was surprisingly exceptionally good with a great salted caramel flavor. I do not normally order flavored coffees because they rarely seem to taste like their touted flavor, but I would be happy to order this one again. The line moved quickly, which was wonderful because my drink was personally delivered out to my car with three cars still in front of me which is a thing that they do with single orders, so that you get your coffee quickly, and they won't have to stop at the window. Drinks are good. Service is friendly. I've been going to The Dutch Bros in Fresno for years, I get how this works...quit asking for a tip. I used to never get asked if I wanted to leave a tip; not sure why I really need to for a 30 second interaction. I downloaded the app, I have auto tipping set to 10% of my order but I still get asked every time if I want to leave an additional tip. NO! I do not. I don't even feel like leaving a tip in the first place for a drink in a drive thru. The tip pushing is getting quite annoying. Imagine if every interaction with customer service got a tip. I'd have no money! Cmon guys, enjoy your jobs, serve the drinks, quit asking for additional tips when I already have tipped thru auto tipping. First time I tried Dutch Bros ever was when they opened. I tried the 16 oz Annihilator(iced chocolate macadamia nut breve) and it was awesome. It wasn't too sweet, nor watery, just perfect. I didn't go back for a while because the lines were almost 50 cars long, but I'd been wanting to go back. Went this morning and got the 16 oz Kicker (iced Irish cream breve) and it was just as good. When you sign up for their texts, you get a complimentary 16 oz drink. So I also ordered a 31 oz 9-1-1 (6 shot Irish breve) and it was smooth. I normally like sweet frozen coffees but today I tried the flap jack and it was WAY too sweet. I had to throw away half my drink or I would've gotten sick. I also ordered a cocomo for my boyfriend and when we tried each other's drinks they tasted oddly similar. It was very wierd that these 2 drinks tasted almost the same. While the customer service was amazing today and the line was short and FAST, the drink was still subpar.
