I know there are mixed reviews for this place but I decided to try them out and see for myself. Came here for the first time the other day to hopefully get some good coffee and good coffee I got ! I ordered a dirty chai latte (chai, but with shots of espresso). The prices here are good and I LOVE how they have an XL option for parched customers. Service was friendly and ambiance is chill. This is a drive-thru only building and service is quick! Every drink comes with a chocolate covered coffee bean which I think brings a special touch to their coffees and sets them apart from the rest ! My drink was delicious, just the right amount of melk (I got macadamia milk on mine). Substitute dairy is $.75 extra (macadamia, oat, coconut, etc) and shots of espresso is also $0.75 per shot which is not bad ! My order came out to $7.70 for a large, dirty chai latte, with 2 shots of espresso and macadamia milk instead of dairy (ew). Come try them out!! read more

THE BAG ALONE made us happy, not to mention when we opened it, there was a surprise inside. A free coffee?! We already love the human bean, they always make our pup happy with their incredible pup cups. The coffee is always amazing. The perfect amount of strong. BUT to go this far to make a day for someone? The coffee was of course amazing. The perfect amount of caramel to add to a incredible sensation of the Java world. Wandered over here for the first time yesterday...it was pretty dang good, so I went back again today. I love my coffee, but don't like too many of the overly sweetened stuff with mill or cream. Just a simple double shot redeye or an American with a small splash of hazelnut. Both of those were made perfect. (And lets be honest, how wonderful is it to order a "large coffee" without trying to differentiate between "tall" and "grande"...which pretty much mean the same dang thing. Just give me a 12oz cup and we're good to go!) Also, we got bagels today. They gave us 2 perfectly toasted parmesan bagel with some cream cheese and the morning was exactly what we needed. I don't drink coffee, no matter how good it is (thanks Starbucks...another review for another time). This is more a review of the service we received on our visit. My grandmother had lived in Exeter, but due to bad health moved in with her son in Orange. My mother and I came to check on her house, and my mother decided to get coffee here - we passed another small coffee shop but chose this one because I am obsessed with beans (don't ask lol). The person at the window was extremely delightful! I didn't catch his name, but wow! In 104 degree weather this man was more chipper than a Disneyland cast member! I get that inside it might be nice cool, but anytime the temperature is 90+ degrees, my mood isn't always the best. So bravo to him for being a great employee and face of the Human Bean! This place is pretty dope. The only thing is that they don't pay attention to the order. This is my 3rd time here and I'm disappointed. The first time was AMAZING!! The customer service and drinks were great. The second time around wasn't as much since I ordered both drinks with whipped cream. Only one of my drinks had whipped cream even tho it was on the sticker. Had to ask to put the whipped cream. (For some reason the whipped cream makes a difference) The 3rd time I asked for my drink to have whipped cream and I got home and didn't have it. I didn't realize until the second sip. Idk if they don't pay attention to the order or they simply just don't care. Either way it still a good place to come get drinks but pay attention to your drink order. read more

This place is great! Mexi-moca (hot or iced) is amazing! Customer service is really A1, every time I go, everyone is always friendly and upbeat. Coming from Los Angeles were there is a coffee shop in every corner, the Human Bean really surpasses them in taste and in customer service. I read a few not so positive reviews on here talking about their menu isn't as large as the big box competitors, but stop and think, do you really try every single thing on the menu? Didn't think so. Also, the Human Bean crew at this location make the drinks really fast. You're in and out with your great tasting coffee. Keep up the great work, and to the hiring manager of this location, great job with the staff you have. I would give this location 10 stars if I could! Huge fan of this little chain. Never heard of it prior to coming to Visalia. Occasionally a long line (that's when you know it's good), but the whole experience is surprisingly efficient! The staff are always friendly and upbeat, makes pre-caffeine grumpiness a little more pleasant. Everything is drive-thru. I love iced white mochas and their equivalent to that here is called the Snowy Mocha. Great sweet treat to perk you right up. I haven't been brave enough to venture away from this drink, but I've heard great things about their other concoctions. This morning about 1045am I drove up to get 1 drink . There were about 6 cars in line to order so I decided to get off and order my drink . I literally waited about 20 mins for 1 drink they didn't just helped the 6 cars that hadn't order yet first but , started to help the other 5 cars that drove up after ! My mother was watching from her car and noticed and decided to get off to find out why they were taking so long and helping the other cars before me . I'm obsessed with this place! Ever since I moved here to Visalia it was like the perfect welcome place! The customer service is always friendly! Sweet! I love the items on the menu , Gave me a break from Starbucks! I have tried the angel cake iced coffee! So good! The Mexican mocha blended ! Bomb! I also had their smoothies with red bulls in them. I love the variety of the drinks and how they put a little coffee bean on top of every drink and the last time I went the person infront of me did a pay it forward and paid for our drinks! I was searching for a nice coffee place and this one caught my eye. We were a fair sized group and ordered nine drinks, the service was fast and friendly. A wide variety of drinks were ordered and everyone loved their drinks! My Java chip granita was delicious and had a nice strong coffee flavor. There are a lot of sugar free options, which is really nice for carb cutting customers or those who need to watch sugar intake. Definitely a sugar free flavor for everyone. I really love the coffee from the Human Bean, but I must say this location does closer early really often. I pulled into the parking lot at 7:15 as one of the parked cars (I'm guessing an employee car was leaving, which left one still in the parking lot). I double checked their listed info on Google and saw that they close at 8... so I went over to the speaker box and tried to place my order, but no one was answering. So then I went up to the window to see if anybody was there and there was no one. As I was pulling away from the drive-through, another car pulled up to the speaker box and I rolled down my window and let them know that there was nobody inside the building and they were disappointed, then proceeded to leave after. My drinks have always been spot on and done correctly and customer service is always amazing here. I just wish that they would stop closing. read more
