There was a decent sized line at 8:30 on Sunday AM for good reason. The good and coffee was really good. Iced vanilla latte was flavorful and not overly sweet. The ham and cheese croissant came out toasty, hot with a delicate mustard kick. What an amazing way to start my day! Would gladly come back anytime we are passing through. I love this cafe! The decor is so cute and the staff was so helpful and friendly. I have a wheat allergy and they have gluten free bagels so I was able to order one of their bagel sandwiches. It was sooooo good! I love a yummy bagel sandwich. The coffee I got was also very delicious and smooth. I got one of their fall flavors. The maple pecan latte. There was quite a bit of a line but it moved pretty fast and they give you a pager that goes off when your order is ready. There's really no room to wait inside but there is a bench outside. I did order an iced Carmel latte but I'm not sure if they forgot the Carmel because I couldn't taste any and it wasn't sweet at all. Perfect place to pick-up food before hitting the trails Unfortunately, there is a relative dearth of food spots in the area, but luckily we found this place. We got a turkey sandwich on sourdough with all the veggies - their house dressing is delicious! Also love that they have sprouts (brings me back to the golden days of Jimmy John). We also grabbed one of their mean green sandwiches. Again, delicious, although the pesto had a greater spicy kick than I expected. Guessing they recently moved. As of August 2025, they're not in the building where their signage is, a couple doors down where there a shaded riverfront patio. There's a lot "open" sign and door signage. Coffee is good, folks are nice, and weather permitting, the patio is pleasant too. read more

Delicious little find in Three Rivers on the way to Sequoia. You'd never think that this little store would have such delicious breakfast and coffee. A coffee shop located in Three Rivers close to the entrance of Sequoia NPS. It's conveniently located to give you the energy boost you need in the form of caffeine or breakfast before you hit the trails. Expect long lines in the morning during a weekend/ holiday - and expect a wait if you order food. We only ordered drinks and got them relatively quickly (the wait in line was longer). Solid pit stop on the way to Sequoia. Freshly made sandwiches and coffee are a win! The downside (which I didn't take any stars off for) was the parking since it was pretty easily filled up on a busy weekend and there isn't too much seating with only 3 tables outside. Also no public bathrooms as far as I could tell (same with the nearby Shell gas station). Plan to take to-go unless you're lucky to get a spot that's good for picnicking. read more

I got here at 7am and I was the only one. However the line was out the door shortly after and I can totally see why. The breakfast burrito is one of the best I've ever had. Their vanilla iced latte is perfect, great espresso and not too sweet. They also have little souvenirs and trinkets that you can look at and buy while waiting in line. The staff is very friendly and even gave me some recommendations about things to do at kings canyon and sequoia. -1 star because I got a dirty chai and although the flavor was good, it was sickeningly sweet. My wife and I kept seeing this spot as we were going in and out of Sequoia National Park, but it was either too early, or too late, but we finally made it on our way out of Three Rivers at the end of our trip!! The Coffee Shop has a nice gift area with Sequoia and Kings Canyon gear, many items we never saw at the park gift shops. The menu had a good selection of items, but we were on the run to the airport so kept it small and sweet--I ordered a Large Iced Latte with Vanilla and a blueberry scone. The "Large" is a decent size, the latte was creamy, and it had a flavoring I guess i didn't expect. The drink was very "cinnamon-" or even "lavender-" like, like it almost had a spice to it. I wasn't sure if this was a mistake made on my drink or if this is what Coffee Co.'s "vanilla" tastes like. Anyway, I enjoyed it, but the flavor threw me off. The blueberry scone wasn't anything special--not sure if they had a "warming" capability like some other shops do, but it probably would've been tastier had it been warm. Otherwise, it was a good pastry. If we ever come back we'll definitely come back and try their breakfast sandwiches or other options. Service-wise the employee taking orders unfortunately didn't seem to be in a friendly mood this morning. Would definitely come back if we're in the area to give some other items a try! read more

Tried Sequoia Coffee Co. while in the area. I got the oat milk lavender matcha. I'd say it was okay, honestly didn't taste much like lavender or matcha, which was a little disappointing. My sister had the oat milk dirty chai and really liked it. She said it was creamy, strong, and super flavorful. The barista was friendly, and the place was clean and had a nice atmosphere. Overall the burrito was a 10/10. I also ordered the 7 dollar matcha latte. A 7 dollar large latte is almost unheard of now-a-days so I really appreciate that price. I normally get a half sweetened Matcha with simple syrup just in case whatever coffee shop I'm at, is heavy handed with the syrup, this place is not. Next time I'll def get a fully sweetened matcha. We went to this coffee shop for breakfast twice while visiting Sequoia National Park, we are from Las Vegas and Yelped places to eat. This came up almost 5 stars so thought we'd try it. Great food, quick service, and atmosphere was unique. We highly recommend the cinnamon roll, breakfast burrito, or the breakfast bowl, however, all of the food looked amazing. The latte and cappuccino was delicious and well made. We did have a little fun sliding down the hill to the picnic tables (seems like a hazard, so if I were the business owner I'd address that). No tables inside to sit and eat, but there are a few benches outside and a tiny patio with maybe 2 tables to sit. Scored a cold brew and with the PERFECT reco from the nicest cashier, added caramel and oat milk. Also had an amazing ham and cheese croissant with a lovely mustard based sauce. My friend tried one of their "griddle donuts" and honestly I don't want a glazed donut any other way!!! A fresh glazed donut thrown in a waffle griddle and sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar. 10/10 It's cute inside and also have some merch and little sequoia souvenirs. I really enjoy this small, charming spot. I've ordered the avocado toast twice now--last time it came with just tomatoes, and this time it had onions and jalapeños. I guess it depends on who's making it, but both versions were delicious. Safe to say I'm officially hooked on avocado toast now! My husband tried the classic burrito. It was okay--not something he'd order again, though. They play classic rock in the background, which adds a nice vibe. Absolutely loved it here. My family and I drive up to sequoia for 2 days and went here twice bc it was so delicious. The coffee was very refreshing, I liked how the espresso tasted. I got their veggie bagel because I love sprouts and avocado. Except I decided to add some protein (bacon). It was very delicious and the everything bagel tied the whole meal together. The coffee shop is super cute inside and has a lot of space out in the back with a view of a beautiful river. The next day I got an iced matcha latte with soy milk , which was sooooo creamy and not sweet at all ( I don't like sugar in my matcha, so If u like a sweeter matcha I would recommend adding a syrup). We came to the Sequoia Coffee Co a few times during our trip. The staff were the kindest and talked more about the area. I ordered the chai latte most of the time. It was delicious!! Also, I ordered the JD Club and Breakfast Croissant. On the breakfast croissant, I added sausage and bacon and it was so good! It's a great place to eat before heading out to the national park or a hike. Definetly recommend this place!! I got confused because this is called "Sequoia Coffee and Kitchen" on google maps. This is a great stop before heading into Sequoia national park, but if it's on a weekend in the summer you should expect to wait in for a while. It's really small inside with a bunch of Sequoia merch. There is no indoor seating but they have some tables in a patio and more picnic tables down by the river. We got the breakfast burrito - sooo good. We also got the sausage breakfast sandwich - it was okay, but a little disappointing. The house spread has a weird mustard flavor to it. Forgot to get a picture of my coffee (seasonal special called "Daydreamer"), but this was a very cute spot with good quality coffee! My latte was sweet with toasted marshmallow flavor I believe. My partner got a chai latte and enjoyed it. They also have fun merchandise, and we got a cute sticker of their logo with a squirrel drinking coffee. We got there right at 7 AM when they opened and had no line, but there was quickly a line that formed after us. Service was great. Would recommend! read more

I'm not sure if they are usually this busy, or if it was just a fluke, but I'd suggest they get another register going if the line backs up. The place is popular! I recommend this place, especially for travelers of the Sequoias. They have hearty breakfast and a lot of coffee flavors to choose from. It was definitely on the pricier side, but if you're traveling, you tend to splurge on nice food that makes ya feel good. I had the Lavender Latte and I forgot to say iced but it was still yummy. Just be warned that the coffee is super scalding hot, so you might have to wait before sippin'. I also ordered the bacon breakfast burrito which was very good. Loved the bacon. Loved the tomatillo salsa. I ordered the cinnamon bun and it was good, but not gooey and soft like I like :P. If you're into the more "bread-y", drier cinnamon buns, then you'll like it. Lastly, the cashier was super friendly and sweet. It was overall good vibes in here. They have pagers for you to grab your coffee/food so you know when it's ready. Stopped in again after 4 years from my initial review ~~ Since our last visit the store has expanded knocking down multiple walls to accommodate their growing business. I'm not sure if maybe they expanded too quickly or can't keep up with the demand (all good problems! ) but the store is dirty AC unit on the back wall had so much gunk build up and ingredients were splashed all over the walls and not like that morning of but like the place is not getting properly cleaned before closing.
