The first red flag should have been when we arrived at 10 a.m. and the front door was still locked, despite there being two groups on the patio and a couple of cars in the lot. We brushed it off, thinking maybe we'd just missed the breakfast rush. The service was slow, but that wasn't the real issue. The food quality was absolutely bottom of the barrel. Our orders were incorrect, they were out of basic items like milk, and the French toast tasted like it had been made with toilet water. It was completely inedible. After the French toast meals were removed, we still walked out paying over $70 for just drinks and two kids' meals. Completely unacceptable. Never again--we should've trusted our gut and left the moment we started questioning it. Save yourself the disappointment and go literally anywhere else. First off I was a bit worried with the reviews. I don't review a lot unless I'm going to give positive review. If I don't like a place I just don't come back. I hate when people give a one star when they still ate the food. Anyways I called to see how late I could order. Come to find out I can order to go all the way until 9:30pm. I ordered my food around 8:30 pm tonight. Lady on phone said it would be ready in 15min. I got there about 8:50 and the food had just come out. Now about the food.. first off I have never been to a place that you can order steak with refried beans and Mexican rice. Lol..So I knew I had to order it! I ordered the rib eye steak, beans and veggies. I wasn't expecting anything great but let me tell you..the food was very good. I first took a bite of the medium rare steak and it was cooked perfect! Then I had to try those beans! And they were really good and the veggies were perfectly soft but not too soft. Usually when I eat at Texas Roadhouse their veggies are always too crunchy. Recommended by the hotel staff, but boy were they wrong! My Wife had a burger with fries, and I had the three Enchilada diner with rice and beans. My Wife asked for her burger done medium, and I asked for no rice, just beans. Well, it took almost 30 minutes for our food to arrive. My Wife's burger was so rare that the center was cold, and the bottom bun was soaked with blood, and the meat smelled horrible. When my enchiladas arrived, I had rice and beans on the plate, so the server told me she would bring a side of beans. Never saw the side of beans. First time here and decided to try this place since every place around here close early.... It's a nice little place but decent sized dining room and a mini gift shop. I ordered the ribs and it was definitely really good and filling... It was enough to share since I got the full rack! The meat was so tender and it fell off the bone so easily which is my fave. I asked them to not put too much BBQ sauce and they did just that... It was enough BBQ sauce on it to where I didnt feel overwhelmed with the sauce but it did get me quite full after. My bf got the pork tenderloin with baked potato and notice when he tasted the pork that it was cooked on the same grill as fish which means they didn't clean the grill before cooking the pork.... I should have taken more pictures of the food but I did have this one from Snapchat and saved it because it was so ridiculous! We had a group of 7 and ordered a couple appetizers (mozzarella sticks and nachos) this is the marinara sauce for the mozzarella sticks! It looked like watery salsa! It was so watered down it was flavorless! Then our meals came out and the steaks were poor quality and tough! We ordered medium rare filet medallions and ribeye... both were like that! I've never had a filet so tough! The ranch dressing on the salad was the worst bottled ranch I've ever tasted! I do not recommend this restaurant at all! The dining choices in Three Rivers are not plentiful and you won't find any Michelin star restaurants here. Yelp reviews didn't help us much, they're all over the map so we just made a choice and landed here. The place got pretty busy once the sun was down. We arrived at twilight so we still had our choice of tables inside or out, it was a warm evening, we chose outdoors. Though the aroma of BBQ is evident when we arrived I noticed the menu has a Mexican influence. We couldn't make up our minds so we settled on apple walnut salads and the queso and chips. The salad wasn't memorable and likely wouldn't pass muster in coastal restaurants; the quality was lacking with tiny blue cheese crumbles and walnuts diced so small neither stood out in the salad. It's pricey at $9 for what I felt was a lunch size portion.The chips and queso were decent though the small size of the queso wasn't proportionate to the amount of chips; we left a bunch on the plate. Folks all around us had the BBQ, so I assume it was quite good, it certainly smelled heavenly. I get it, we're in a remote area. The cost to bring in food is likely not inexpensive. To start, there are definitely some okay dishes at this location which I would recommend but be VERY careful with their service. We had ordered 4 dishes for our table. The supreme nachos were pretty good but were lacking on sauce/sides. We ordered a chicken caesar salad which tasted normal (needed it after a hefty weekend). Turns out that our server had charged us for EXTRA PLATES. We were sharing the ribs and nachos so we had wanted some extra plates. The server kindly got them for us and didn't say anything regarding a charge. On top of that, the nachos were lacking in sauce so we asked for additional sour cream and the salsa. Turns out this tiny container of salsa cost us $3.50. The container was the size of a 1oz cup.... The communication was definitely lacking at this location if they were going to charge us these extras. The experience was okay until the end with the surprises. Came here during the off season and were the only people here, that combined with the lack of music definitely made for an interesting vibe. Nothing too terrible but nothing amazing - something to get you in as there aren't a ton of options in the area. The ribs were actually decent if you do decide to dine. Id pass on the cocktails and stick with the beer. The service: our waitress was very friendly but was not the most reliable. It took us a really long time to order because she kept on misunderstanding. Definitely make sure they read your order back to you at the end. Price/value: $$ portions are decent but some of the entrees are priced higher than you'd expect for the quality. Would I come back? They offer indoor and outdoor seating. I enjoyed a ribeye steak which I ordered medium and was served medium rare not a huge deal for me the outside had some good char so I went with it. Prices are on the expensive side but like I said to drive to the next larger town would have costed me more in gas than I would have saved on the food. The sides were all bland a little salt and pepper as well as other condiments go a long way to giving your dishes flavor. Service was adequate not great not awful. The town of Three Rivers, CA has limited options so we decided to give this place a try after a long of hiking in Sequoia National Park. Even with it being a Sunday night we were able to get a seat right away during peak hours. We were waited on instantly by friendly staff. We looked through the menu and went with a Bacon Cheeseburger and a Grilled Veggie Burger. The meals were brought to us in a timely fashion. The only reason I give this three stars, is because the service was wonderful. The hostess/server we had was pleasant and sweet and very attentive. We were there on Sunday, Feb 28 right at the start of lunch. Ordered mozzarella sticks for appetizer. They came promptly with marinara, that came directly out of the fridge. If I'm not mistaken, all the marinara for mozzarella sticks have been warm before or at least at room temperature. I ordered the western cheeseburger and curly fries. My husband ordered the Hawaiian with no veggies, just pineapple. His came, with plenty of onion. After looking at my western cheeseburger I was extremely thrilled because it looked amazing. I was so excited to try the first bite! I took a bite and to my surprise, the only thing I could taste, was the BBQ sauce, which was extremely sweet. I looked at the burger and saw the THINNEST patty I had ever seen before and then realized, nothing was seasoned. I thought it was a bit strange, considering they have it blasted everywhere that they had been named best BBQ winner. There was absolutely NO flavor at all aside from the sauce. Even the bacon didn't taste like anything. It was like eating textured air with BBQ sauce. The curly fries were frozen, but had a coating on them that made them orange like they were pre seasoned. But they too, were lacking serious flavor. The ketchup and mustard bottles were questionable. Ketchup was in a bottle clearly labeled mustard. The mustard bottle was severely sun damaged and Discolored and I wasn't able to tell if it was just the bottle or if the actual mustard was sun bleached. We did not use either, just incase. I can't say if we will return or not. If we do, definitely want to try the ribs for sure. read more

Stopped by for dinner after visiting Giant Sequoia National Park from Arizona. We had a veritable feast of delicious food here-- lots of southwestern cuisine and the meats! I had a Sequoia Burger, onion rings, and rootbeer float (which was great after a hot day in the Sierra Nevadas) and it was SOooOoOoOo good! The fare is a little pricey, but the portions are HUGE-- so if you share a meal with a friend it actually is very reasonable. The food was cooked fresh and tasted delicious. Best of all, it was like finding a hidden gem of a restaurant. Fast & friendly service, good food, and full tummies-- what more could you ask for? Yum! So if you've the appetite of a bear after a day of hiking, it's a great place to stop for a bite on your way back to civilization. read more

Came here because I thought it was a brew pub from the name. Unfortunately, they have very little to offer when it comes to alcohol, not a TV to be seen or radio to be heard. Overall, the food was good and the service prompt. I ordered a burger with guacamole, it tasted equivalent to pretty much every diner out there. The guac was a disappointment, it seemed like the guac you squeeze out of a tube. We also got a rack of ribs and those were amazing. Perfectly cooked, really tender, just a tad too much sauce. It feels like the 5-star reviews are fake; there's no way this is a 5-star restaurant. The steaks were WAY overpriced for poor cuts/quality. A $35 steak should be awesome. The steaks came out wrong, had to be sent back. For such expensive steaks, they should not need to add a ton of pepper and salt, the flavor of the steak itself should be enough, and they should offer steak knives; instead I received a small vegetable paring knife. The vegetables were supposed to be fresh but were canned, or frozen and over-boiled. They charged extra for ice cream which was listed as being included with the dessert. Most disturbing...there were several flies repeatedly landing in our food. I don't want to know how many flies are in the kitchen. We had 2 dinners for $46. 1 1/2 rack of delicious ribe and a loaded baked potato also delicious. No veggies, no salad, no rolls for $24. Also had a enchilada platter. 4 small cheese rolled in tortillas covered in grated cheese and green sauce with ok rice and terrible whole beans. No chips, no salsa no side of any sort. I felt jipped with no offering of any sides included with the dinner. i have breakfast here once and it was good. Too bad dinner doesn't include a vegetable or a salad.
