Nestled on the side of the road with its own parking lot, Tony's Taverna on Wheels is not to be missed for lunch or after a long day of exploring Sequoia National Park. They serve Greek classics like gyros, salads, hummus, and more. They also sell fish and chips, chicken sandwiches, and burgers. Staff is courteous and service is quick. There's a few picnic tables under trees for some shade, and restrooms are also available a few steps away. I had the Three Rivers Plate and it was just what I needed. It's came with a Greek salad (dressing is vinaigrette), homemade hummus, a warm and fluffy pita, and protein (I had lamb gyro but you can get it with chicken). The flavors were on point and portions were just right for the price. My companion had the gyro sandwich and it, too, was delicious. The only thing I'll warn about is that the Greek salad comes with lots of red onion. Not a big deal if you're headed back to your lodging for a quick break and can brush your teeth. :) Lastly, Tony's just opened a brick and mortar restaurant up the road. Their lunch menu seems to be the same/similar but the restaurant's menu is different than the food truck's.

Delicious fries This is one of the few well rated spots for food near Sequoia. It is a humble food truck with small tables sprinkled around it. I was surprised at the quality of their food. They make a mean gyro and gyro platter. Perfect after a long day on the trails. My fav was probably the fries tho - thick cut and crispy, while fluffy on the inside, akin to a potato wedge. Finished with some Parmesan and herbs.

I wish i was a short drive away from this truck because I would eat there everyday if I was. Tony's has one of the best ribeye salads I've ever had. So tender and salad is fresh crispy and delicious. There is plenty of parking, tables to eat at, a museum on the property you can go checkout while you wait for your order and the staff is so friendly. I can't wait to go back just to eat there haha

Delicious Greek food truck/pop-up on the side of the road! I was in town for the weekend on a trip to sequoia national park and we stopped here for dinner one night and it was delicious!! I had a gyro salad with some top notch (crispy on the outside and soft in the middle) fries. Service was friendly, and quick and efficient for cooking in such a small space inside the truck. They've setup a big picnic seating area with lights as well so a great place to come and hang (and play some cornhole while you wait) with family and friends. Just make sure you bring some mosquito repellent (for the park in general) if bugs love you.

This place rocks! You are likely encountering it on your drive to/from Sequoia National Park, and it's placed on a road with other food trucks scattered around. Fear not, for this is the best one! The workers are so kind, the seating area ROCKS, and the food is incredible!!! I got a falafel salad and was floored by how good it was for having come out of a food truck! While you're here, the art store just across the road is not to be missed. Enjoy your visit at the parks!

Not bad under the shade trees with a nice breeze. Parking off the road is also a plus

We drove up for something to do. I had heard the food was good. Was thinking about doing the new sit down but the reviews were not great. The weather was nice in the shade with a breeze. Service was great, food came out hot n fresh

Drove up from the city for fresh air activities and needed an easy dinner to take back to the cabin. My expectations were neutral, now I'm impressed. Not many places make actual chicken gyro-style, which was delicious on my very fresh and flavorful Greek salad! The pita bread was fantastic. I'm too sleepy to be clever. The shit was good, awesome first meal in Three Rivers, get you some, and goodnight.

Slow service, food is alright. Waited in line for 10 minutes to get 2 waters after placing an order for 2 gyros.

Sobif they can remove signs before closing that would be great. We had our fun in the sun and my boys and I stopped here to have something to eat. They offer free Wi-Fi. The restroom had giant mosquitoes and looked dirty. Customer service wasn't the best either. After ordering my food I didn't know because this was my first time here, but the chips that come with a meal will be located to your left, and if you order a drink you pick up your own cup on the left side of the soda machine. I say this to you because it wasn't told to me and after receiving my food I had to get up and grab it myself. The food was not good good but it wasn't horrible, with that being said I wouldn't recommend this place at all. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and asked for EASY CHEESE and got so much cheese. The chicken was like shredded and cooked in something because it wasn't just basic plain shredded chicken. The blt was ordered for my son who said the bread tasted gross and sandwich had no flavor. Now how the heck can anyone mess up a basic blt‍. I ordered basic hamburger. Lettuce and tomato were great, it had too much special sauce and the meat was just meat. Their potato salad is actually some of the best I've ever had but the macaroni salad now if you like food that you can chew with no flavor then I highly suggest ordering the mac salad lol. There's a first for everything and also a last and this location was definitely that for us. Why did we eat the food? Well we used a lot of energy and needed to refuel our body, plus I hate wasting money so I was not about to throw the food away.

But there was something we had not considered, we were going to be going to a place that required us to be fresh and ready to receive the wonder of place by a lack and we only had the energy for an angry stop at a gas station. So this place I visited when I was tired and that kind of gunked up the experience. If I would have gone with more energy to fully open my eyes than this experience would have been wondrous. When I booked the reservation I did it because it was a place by a lake. I enjoy water front dining and I usually use an ocean for scenery and today I was in a place where I could use a large creek. And since I was not going with any specific expectations that lake hit me like a bucket of wow. I remember like seeing the mouth of the lake going down like actual rocks. Like I was seeing the waters that people raft on with commitment to the outdoors. It felt like I had traveled into a place where trees were purest, bird melodies were the only noise in town (besides the water running in the creek), and cabins belonged to those who called the mountains home. I was in a novel and for some reason I felt like it was written by Twain. And that is really what I can say about this place. That is mostly what I remember the beauty of the creek. I wanted to spend more time there, I could have walked it, they had like a lounge but I did not. But I do remember the forested view that went on, and the roaring, jagged leg being a central character other than that I have small things to say. I remember the salad being ok. Denise and I shared a dish, I can't remember why but we did not eat the whole thing. It was inherently bad. But this could have been an off night, or just not the dish of the place, and really you go here for the lake, and the food was great in some ways just not in this specific way. I went to this place a few weeks ago, and, if I had not make it clear I remember the experience of being with the lake. So go here for that experience and let the rest just fall into place.

We ordered a cheese pizza, salad bar access, and a Greek salad. The pizza was the highlight: the cheese was baked to perfection--golden brown, a little crispy at the edges but not dry--really delicious. The salad bar was adequate with a choice of iceberg or spinach and a selection of toppings. My main issue was the Greek salad: it was advertised with romaine but arrived with iceberg. When I politely pointed this out to a server, I was told they never have romaine. There was no offer to replace the salad, refund, or even a real apology. That lack of effort to correct a mistake was disappointing. Overall, great pizza and a just what you expect from a pizza place, but customer service could use improvement when things go wrong. I'd still come back for the pizza, but hope staff handle mistakes more proactively next time.
