Chicken Nuggets Combo (with Medium Fries & Medium Drink) $6.29 Cashier/Server: Athena I went to Fresno for a belated family Christmas celebration with my cousins, & on the way back the kiddos cried of hunger even though we ate just a couple of hours ago. My husband's fav pit stop is in Tulare, so I searched for burgers in the area & Burger Land popped up. The LOs were against something they've never heard of & cried for the usual fast food burger franchises. Since they were the next exit, Burger Land it is! The burger joint opened a couple of months ago according to the initial Yelp review, but it could have been earlier. Upon entering, you feel as though you stepped back in time by the retro diner decor. Happy Days? I had perused the menu earlier for their special & couldn't find it on the menu: 2 Texas Burgers for $7.99 (it's on their drive-thru menu); Athena was kind & patient while I tried to find it on my iPhone. She suggested the Special Family Pack for our family of 4, which is a superb deal since a single combo is $10.99, or burger, fries, & drink would be $13.98 if ordered individually; she asked if we would like cheese ($1/slice). And a 5 Pcs. Chicken Nuggets Combo was added for the l'il guy. Our order was ready in a snap! I can smell the hot, juicy burgers & fries as I walked back, & wonder if it was a mistake to order the special. Not because the food was bad (even though I didn't taste it yet), but that it was wayyy too much food when I saw the size of the burger & the deceptive lookin' package of fries. The tantalizing smells caused someone to salivate (15 YO daughter). LOL The sesame bun was lightly toasted & held together well from start to finish as juices ran from fingers to hand. The patty was thin, maybe 1/3 or 1/4 lb.? It came with typical accompaniments: iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, onions, mayo; nothing special, really... yet it made for a tasty burger... a very large tasty burger (everything's bigger in Texas)! The crinkle fries were hot off the fryer, perfectly fried & seasoned... crisp skin & fluffy mashed potato-like inside with a sprinkling of seasoned salt. They have a Pepsi soda fountain; I chose Lipton Raspberry Tea. My daughter ate about 2/3s of the burger & 1/2 of the fries before giving up. She's on the water polo & swim teams, & has an appetite, so I was a bit surprised that she couldn't finish after clamoring about how hungry she was. My husband barely managed to finish his burger & only ate part of his fries; he finished the remaining 1/3 & I ended up finishing his fries. My son liked his chicken nuggets, surprisingly over his preferred fast food franchises. Everything was too hot to eat right away... normally he could at least start on the fries, but the cut was thicker so they took awhile to cool. At least you know they were hot! He finished her remaining fries. We left stuffed to the hilt. There's 24 burger/meal options that can be upgraded to a combo (medium fries & medium drink), dinner & baskets, salads, breakfast burritos, sides, drinks, & sweet treats. Besides the Special Family Pack, other specials include: Original Chicken Sandwich $3.99; 2 Texas Burgers $7.99; Mix & Match (Corn Dog & Burrito) 2 for $1.99. Prices are fair for most items, with shakes being a tad pricey IMO. You definitely get the bang for your buck here in terms of value for their sizable portions. There's 2 cashiers working this evening, Athena & another girl working drive-thru. Between the 2, they were either taking orders & expediting them, wiping down their work stations & dining room, re-stocking lids & straws, etc. While they didn't wear masks (not a thing anymore post-pandemic lockdown), they did wear gloves. I also saw someone from the kitchen coming out to mop the floors by the kitchen entrance & registers. The dining room is spic & span, no sticky tables or dirty chairs/stools here! Are we fans of Burger Land? You got that right! Though we don't live in the area, we'll definitely be back when hunger calls on our road trip. Disappointed. This place when it opened was amazing.. I could argue best burger in Tulare. It became our go to burger spot for months. We hadn't been in a month or two and we went yesterday and wow. The quality has really taken a huge hit. My son and I couldn't finish our burgers. The meat was spongy, I don't know if they switched meat vendors or the meat vendors doing them a disservice but at almost $100 yesterday for a family of 4 other places have better burgers. The consistency/texture of the meat reminded me of great value chicken nuggets- a sponge. The ranch was so runny and flavorless, the burgers once the stars were nothing in comparison. The tater tot's were overcooked and the cheese curds sitting in a pool of grease. I really hope they go back to how they started or if it's a new cook, I don't know. But I don't see myself going back. Their ice cream is still good! Maybe for dessert we shall drive by this summer, I hope that stays the same! read more

Delicious smash burger and fish sandwich . My husband and I ordered the combos . Worth the price less than 14.00 each , maybe we could of shared since they are big portions . Nice friendly staff , we ordered at the counter and they bring your food to the table . Place is clean and have plenty room for a large group . Place gives a 50's diner vibe . Missing a large Jukebox and a few 50's decor . But that's just my taste in decor . lol read more

Currently here and I couldn't wait to make a review. It's very clean. The food is delicious, fresh and hot. They are overly generous with the fries. I wish I would have taken a better picture but we were all hungry. The person who took our order was Al's the same person who cooked our food was very kind and attentive. Super friendly. Walked in and this place is spotless!! 1950s drive in style decor was super cool! Huge menu with tons of options! Prices were great as well! I chose the beef bacon burger with side of fried zucchini! Let me tell you the burger was so good and you can tell it was made fresh when I ordered it! The fried zucchini was so crispy I was self conscious about how loud I was crunching, dipped I the complimentry ranch, top tier for sure! Customer service was great as well! My sisters were in town, and we were looking for a simple bite to eat. We all have varying eating habits. So, when we came across this burger place with 4.8 stars on Yelp in addition to mentioning there were vegetarian options, we decided to try it out. Unlike the reviews, it took a long time for us to get our food when there was literally no one else in the restaurant at almost 8pm. It was also extremely cold in the restaurant. There was hardly vegetarian food and definitely nothing healthy. I ordered 3 of the fried sides (mushrooms, zucchini, and mozzarella sticks). All were room temperature when they were brought to me. The zucchini was tasty, the mushrooms were ok, and the mozzarella sticks were gross. Idid like that none of them were greasy, however they still have ME an upset stomach that night. Bad service all the way around. Did 3 call in orders over $50.00 and they gave us chicken burgers that were so dark you would think they were Spicy Chicken, but nope just Over cooked like 10 times. Western Bugers is what we were susposed to receive, We ordered the Family pack..I only had a 30 min lunch. They told us to bring them back and they would replace them. I CALLED to ask if they wanted the fries as well. Since they would probably be cold but NO Answer!! So I just left, thinking since it was their mistake and the inconvenience of using up my lunch time they would throw fries in but nope..I get there the girl Smiles and says It was her mistake and proceeded to hand me the Hamburgers. I ASK if there was at least fries for the inconvenience and they Said NO, if u didnt bring them back you dont get any!!! What a Joke use up my Lunch Time to correct there Mistake. We stopped here for dinner on the drive back from San Diego. It was really good, I got a smash burger, it had grilled onions on it, bacon and cheese. I only got a single patty and the burger was really small. I should have atleast got a double. Aside from the size, it had good flavor. The fries were crinkle cut, and they were cooked nice and crispy, but a little too potatoey for me. Really thick fries. My daughter got a grilled cheese and she loved it. The ranch was amazing. If I lived anywhere near this place I would definitely be going back and trying some other items. read more

Great food, good service, not a long wait like the previous proprietor "Triangle Burger". Burger Land not only has great food, the prices are a sight for hungry eyes. Not like the "Name Brand" establishments and those $17-$19 combo meals. Burger Land offers a wide variety menu, with good pricing. But most importantly they serve it up "Hot". The way hot food is meant to be served. In closing I'd like to say they serve some of the "Best & Crispiest" French fries on the planet. Never a let down. This place is better than Triangle Burger. Identical overall quality to Valley Burger. This place is a lot closer to my home so I appreciate that. Mostly had the pastrami and it is better than the pastrami I tried from Triangle. The only complaint I have is that my sandwich didn't have peppers last time I picked up my order. They also have the good crushed ice and the person that helped me the last time took the few seconds to make sure my soda was filled to the top. read more

bomb. me n my bf come here when we decide to eat burgers or something of the sort and we are satisfied each and every time. we love coming in and sitting down everything is always clean and the service is always nice as well. there is a lot of space inside with locked restrooms and a big menu to choose from! they have lots of desserts as well we haven't tried yet but we plan on coming back ! couldn't get any pictures but we got a bbq burger combo each. it was perfectly made and the smash burger was perfect ! the fries are always fresh and the ice is perfect! it used to be triangle burger but now it's burger land not sure why but i like burger land better anyways haha. read more
